Why does he need glasses?

He’s nearsighted. He’s said it in a couple of interviews - one when doing press for season 1 of b99, and one when he does a radio interview with Sway to promote Popstar

how many pairs of glasses does andy own ?

As of 2016 when he was doing Popstar press, he said he had 7 pairs (including prescription sunglasses). Since then, he has a new pair of prescription sunnies and 2 new pairs of glasses. So I guess that makes 10 pairs?

A Double Blind (or Blind-Blind) Thesis

Some evidence to suggest that Andy is more blind than he implies.

1. Just the fact that he wears prescription sunglasses indicates he needs specs for more than just the computer and TV.

Hi, so I’m heavily detail-oriented and I noticed Andy’s got pretty thin lenses. I have two friends who are brothers and one of them also have quite thin lenses, the other wears contacts. One day the other wore his glasses that have pretty thick lenses and I asked how blind he must be and he said they have almost the same prescription, but the the former just have high index lenses that are more expensive. I thought you might find it interesting as I do as a crazy detail person haha

Ooh that is interesting! I thought Andy might have those expensive lenses, since he could surely afford them. Also, his frames are quite big so I guess if he had regular lenses, it might make his glasses heavy for his face. Plus, he has a preference for glasses over contacts so probably thinks it’s worth paying a bit more for glasses that are comfortable in his face.

I don’t know, sorry. But I do know that the brown ones he wears when all three guys are together are his own prescription sunglasses.
