Vanlife Ways Pack Part 2

Heeeeeey! Finaaaaaally part 2 of vanlife is here! An interior pack for your sims motorhomes, including 31 new items! I tried to make a full functional home with this set, so there are RV based bathroom items, kitchen items, and bedding! I was kind overwelmed when I started this part 2, I could have taken so many different options and layouts for motorhomes. I ended up using these as inpirations: inspo 1, inspo 2, inspo 3, inspo 4.

I also tried to make this as modular as possible, so the pieces snatch when possible BUT I do recommend using moveobjects to be sure you can always place things correctly!

Huuuuge shoutout to Ravasheen that made fridges and stoves possible to snatch to counters!I All credits for this goes to her, and her original files are required.

Wisteria Whisk - Part 1

Hey everyone!

First of all, I’m so sorry for being a bit later than usual. I mentioned earlier that I had a work emergency for two weeks, which left me with little time for this collection and even led to a bit of burnout. However, in the last few days, I've been working nonstop to bring this set to you. Thank you everyone for you patience! I appreciate how nice you all are! And in the meantime we're now over 17 000 followers! So thank you!

The idea for this set came from my experience creating Baker's Kitchen last year. At that time, I wanted to make a proper bakery set, but I was so excited to explore different styles that I postponed it. When I finished the Cozy Cabin Collection, I decided to start on a bakery collection, and then the news of the new pack came out—I thought it would be a perfect fit! So, I made sure to include objects that work well with the pack.

My main inspiration came from Japandi-style interiors with touches of nature. Initially, I wanted to create a floral composition, but it evolved into a set of wisteria, which inspired the name of the collection. The wisteria looks best outdoors; indoors, the shader isn't the prettiest, but it works like in-game plants and changes with the seasons (depending on the world you're in). In winter, it only has bare branches.

Since I made a full kitchen set I didn't have time exploring my ideas but I needed the islands for the bakery and I wanted to make cabinets so you'd have everything for a kitchen.

When the new pack came out, I took some time to study how the new objects work and noticed that the Sims team created specific displays for selling items in small businesses. It took me a while to figure out a way to make displays that would work with the new pack while also being compatible with retail stores. I saw that some modders made invisible small business items, which inspired me to create display trays. Anything you place on these trays will automatically be for sale. However, if you prefer a retail store setup, you can still use the larger displays without the trays.

Plus, all the display items in this set will help keep your food fresh for longer!

Sorry for being this long, I felt like I wanted to explain everything. Now I'm onto the next part as quickly as possible! I want to focus on the baker side of the shop now!

Wisteria Whisk - Part 2

Hey everyone!

The second part of the Wisteria Whisk collection is here! This time, I wanted to add lots of decorative food to help fill up your bakeries. I made new shelves which can showcase all basket and tray pastries I made for this set. As I mentioned in an earlier WIP post, I tweaked the wood colors a bit, so I also went back and updated the previous set with the new shades. If you want everything to match nicely, please redownload the first set!

Some additional information: The tray holder has slots that fit the tray items perfectly! It might be a bit tricky to find the exact placement, but the slots are in the center of each layer, so aim for that.

The baskets of baked goods and tray of sweets have multiple mesh variations, so changing the swatch will not only change the color but also the object itself. This way they don't take up too much catalog space.

The shelves include rotated slots, which I had to set as fixed so if you place there an item it stays rotated. If you want to reset the rotation of a slotted item, just place it somewhere else first, then it will return to its default straight position.

I hope you’ll enjoy this set as much as I enjoyed making it, though I have to admit, working on all these food items made me very hungry during texturing. :D

As I mentioned earlier, I’ll be starting the third part of the collection a little later, since I’ll be walking the Camino de Santiago next week. So there won’t be any WIPs during that time but once I’m back, I’ll jump into working on the next (and probably final) part of the bakery set. Though who knows, that might still change depending on how I feel.

For the next part, I’m planning to add kitchen items and a coffee bar that matches the other display pieces. I’m really excited to get started on it!

Let me know what you think of this set or if you run into any issues! I was so frustrated today, was almost done when I spotted a small problem and ended up spending hours fixing it. So I really hope everything works smoothly now!

Wisteria Whisk - Part 3

Hey everyone!

Finally I'm finished with the new set which is the 3rd and last part of the Wisteria Whisk Collection and I'm so excited to share it with you. I'm really sorry for the delay, I had planned to release it earlier, but as some of you know, I took a one-week break to start the Camino in Northern Spain. After that, I had to catch up and ran into a few small issues with the mixer.

But we're here now, and I'm truly proud of how it turned out. This part is inspired by the all-metal look and feel of commercial kitchens in bakeries and restaurants. My main focus was to create a cohesive set that can fully furnish a space like that.

My favourite item of the set is the stand mixer, I just love the bright swatch colors I chose for it.

This time, I don’t have a long explanation for each item, they’re all pretty straightforward.

As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, this is the final part of the Wisteria Whisk Collection. Now I’ll be starting something new, and we’re heading back into residential territory. As always I'm really excited to be doing something new! I'll keep you updated about it shortly!

This time, I didn’t forget to save the kitchen as a room and upload the tray files for you, so you can easily get everything included in this set. You’ll still need to download the package files , but if you’d rather not use the search function in-game, just place the tray files in your Tray folder, the room will then show up in your Gallery.

Since some of you asked, in the coming weeks, I’ll be uploading new variations of the kitchen set from the first part, along with a floor tile that matches the wall from the second part.
