i went to the yoshitomo nara show, it was ok!

i thought about the vague political slogans in his works and the vague anti war narratives, combined with the very obviously capitalistic approach he has towards the marketing and selling and objectification of his works

it also made me want to draw again because doodling looks fun and it doesn’t have to be perfect

and that lastly it reminded me that life is a lottery, not a meritocracy, and that each moment and how you choose to approach it leads to the very next
