A letter to my unborn son (38 weeks pregnant)

My sweet baby boy,

You will be here soon. And mommy and daddy cannot way. My sweet boy, the day you come will be the BEST day of my life. Nothing can be better than having a baby that will grow up so strong and wonderful. And I’ll be so lucky to say, “that’s MY son!” My tiny little boy, know that you may be small but you already take up all my love and half of my heart (since your daddy has the other half). Know that whatever I do is all because I care about you. My handsome sweet child, I cannot wait to see your smile, to make you life, and kiss your boo-boos. I hope you grow to be kind, loving, caring, and strong and know that no woman will love you more than me, your dear mom. My little guy, I’m so anxious for this day. Where I can hold you and give you your first kisses, hugs, and tender care. I will love you until my final breath. And even then I’ll love you until we meet again. And then I’ll love you for eternity. My son, Just know I want what’s best for you. For you to be happy, know your loved, and live life AT THE BEST AND FULLEST you can. I’ll be here through the good and I’ll be here for the bad. I am your mother and I’ll always love you through it all. Just remember, my marshmallow, that you’ll always be my baby. Always and forever. I would like to say that I love him so much that he’s all that I think about, but he’s not all that I think about. I also think about the fucked up shit that’s going on in the world, I’m thinking about how it feels to die, scared. I’m thinking, what if I take this bus and some angry person decides to kill everyone today? Or if I walk this way home I might get kidnapped, or raped. This shitty world has caused us worry and panic. If you ask me, I don’t think there should be anything but love on a persons mind.
