What is Bai’s middle name? How did you come up with the nickname for Tobias (Bai)?

Tobias’ middle name is Charlie.

I actually think Bai came before Tobias. I can’t really remember, but I’m pretty sure I just thought Bai was a cute nickname, and then I looked for names that could potentially have the nickname Bai. I’m much more attached to him as Bai than Tobias, to be honest. I have read questions asking me about Tobias, and had a moment of “Who is Tobias???” before I remember that Tobias is Bai. It doesn’t happen to much anymore, but when I started re-writing the story I had a few moments like that.

How have things been? How's the next part going?

Heeeeey, sorry I’ve been MIA lately. I suddenly realised that I need to submit my Bachelor in less than a month, so I’ve been focusing all my productive energy into that. The weather suddenly got nice here too (and the Norwegian summer is the nicest day of the year lol), so I’ve been trying to spend as much time as I can outside in the sun, soaking up that vitamin D. So I haven’t been writing for a while, sorry. I’m not sure when I’ll get back into the flow. I do want to post at least the last part of Episode 1 before my exam period (end of May). After that I should have a lot of time to write!

Does Bai like hugs? Does Bai even like being a fun-sized giant or does he wish he was a skyscraper giant? Does Kalyani like Bai's hugs?

I love this question so much. We always talk about everyone else loving Bai’s hugs, we never stopped to think about what he feels about all these hugs, did we? 

I do think he really likes hugging, he generally enjoys physical affection. Once word starts to spread about his amazing hugs, I’m not sure he’s going to be so into it though. He loves hugs, but not with just anyone.

I think Bai would like to be less giant-y, actually. It’s harder to blend in when you’re a head taller than everyone. Any more height would terrify him.

I do think Kalyani enjoys Bai’s hugs. She usually isn’t so much of a hugger, and her hugs are very brief (she squeezes you tight really quick and then she’s gone), so she doesn’t usually take the time to appreciate the quality of his hugs. When she does need a nice, long hug, he is her go-to guy though.

Other than Kalyani, has Bai had a crush on anyone else before?

He has had little crushes here and there, but nothing too significant, and not on anyone else in the club.

How does Bai feel about Nsync's Bye Bye Bye? Has anyone ever teased him with that song before?

Oh, he’s been constantly teased with it. I think especially Kalyani’s sister would have fun with it. Whenever Kali would call out for Bai, Kamini would echo it “Bai, Bai”. At this point the entire family is in on it and whenever one person says “Bai”, at least one other person responds “Bai, Bai” (often with a third person whispering “Bai, Bai”). Sometimes Kamini just calls him Bai-Bai. 

Isaiah also teases him about it constantly. He first heard it at Kalyani’s house, and he thought it was hilarious (at that point the Kapoors were so used to it, they had kind of forgotten that it was a joke, so they were really startled when Isaiah burst out laughing). Isaiah is the most likely to actually sing the entire thing and do the dancing.

Bai’s dad can’t believe he never thought of it. 

Bai (Bai, Bai, bai, bai)  is really used to it at this point, so he doesn’t mind. He thought it was embarrassing in the beginning, but now its kind of endearing. He does find it a little annoying when someone new hears it and over-does it though.

He does not, and he’s a senior, so he should probably get on that.

Yes, Bai is pretty good friends with Isaiah actually, and they’re getting a scene together in the next episode I believe!

How's the chapter going?

To be honest, not great. I have a few half-written scenes, but I just can’t seem to really get into a good writing groove. I am still aiming at getting the next chapter out this week though!

Never have I ever gotten into a fistfight

Kalyani, Spencer and Cameron definitely have. Liliana has gotten physical in a fight, but I wouldn’t say there has been punching. Avery has gotten pretty close to it, but someone has always been around to step in. I think Omar has gotten into physical fights, but it’s more pushing than actual punches, maybe a punch or two.

I believe Avery is the only one who is left-handed, but I could be wrong.
