Okay, okay, just kidding but I am in need of a beta or alpha reader who fits few criteria items to possible beta most of my works on Good Omens!

Positions (I usually write): top (and service top)!Crowley and bottom!Aziraphale.

Most written genre: normally I focus on Crowley's "religous" and family dilemma more than on Aziraphale, however I have a good amount of angst!AziraCrow after s2!

if anyone wants some queer cosplayers, look up P4perback and Whataboutpadfoot/whataboutandy! Whataboutpadfoot- Andy (they/them) P4perback- Ethan (he Him Ive been following them for about a year and a half, and utterly love their content. they've become my comfort streamers and cosplayers, and i love watching their work. I've spoken to P4perback (who's name is ethan) a few times through his discord server, and he really is a good guy, really genuine. They're really good people. they cosplay as moony and padfoot, and im fairly sure they marjorily just do fanmade scenarios. ethan also has cosplayed as crowley many times, and Andy is rumored to be cosplaying as aziraphale soon! They also cosplay as charecters from how to train your dragonQ Ethan (p4perback) also streams on twitch, and is amazingly kind and sweet to his community there, and plays different games almost everyday with other people. After the words 'i'm the only first-class/order archangel here’ why does it close up on crowley’s face?  - check whether baraquiel, samael, jophiel or raphael were first order Items in gabriel’s box - two play pamphlets, and a letter from 1915 Matchbox quote - “, "Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.". Job 41:19.” Aziraphales halo use in the Great War - When did Crowley fall? The look aziraphale gives after Crowley mentions Alpha Centauri to bureaucracy.

Right. Who wants to talk about the magic words in episode 4?

So the magic words Aziraphale says before his trick are: banana, fish, gorilla, shoelace with dash of nutmeg.

Now, I'm assuming that it's meant to sound like gibberish, but why THESE words? Do they sound/look like something else while lip reading? Translate to something else? In German maybe?

Hmm. Probably not.

My first impression upon hearing these words was: banana, fish, gorilla all sound VERY familiar... Like when Crowley was talking about Armageddon in S1 about all the gorillas and stars crashing down and "WHAT ARE THEY PUTTING IN THE BANANAS THESE DAYS" (📌) and Aziraphale also makes a comment about dolphins being a type of fish.

But I don't recall there being anything about shoelaces or nutmeg in that dialogue. (Side note -- when Job mentions whales all I could think was "brain city, whales".) Nutmeg is mentioned once in the book:

Now for the 📌 -- I saw a reference somewhere to a manga called Banana Fish?

If you subscribe to the "spiked coffee" theory (I'm not sold on the idea myself), that's a VERY interesting note indeed. And only fitting that I would be reminded of Crowley's rant on gorillas questioning if their bananas were spiked. Could it... Could it be... ??

Perhaps the words mean nothing at all, but in my experience in S1 there was hardly a wasted line or name. All of the nuns' names meant some form of "talkative", for example. Again, it could just be words picked at random to sound silly.

But MAYBE it is a clue of some sort. Or at least a reference to something else.

Any thoughts?!

last year i was eating in a fancy, large restaurant when i began to hear a rumble and the distant sound of people chanting ‘potassium, potassium’ and suddenly hundreds of people dressed as bananas flood this restaurant chanting potassium over and over and we were trapped there for a very long time because the bananas would not leave and they were everywhere
