What made me decide to Work Remotely?

Just like a lot of people this year, my job opportunities shrank drastically and my career took a bad detour.

For over 7 years I've always worked in corporate establishments, where everything was predictable, reliable (usually), and constantly routine.

Forecasts have predicted the unemployment rate in Italy will reach 11.1 percent in 2020, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The rate is then expected to increase to 11.3 percent in 2021. Now, that is a lot of people.

At the same time, a large amount of Filipinos, accounting to about 27.3 million, are expected to be unemployed, largely due to the severe economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This is according to a survey by independent pollster Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Luckily, I quickly resorted to Working from Home by becoming an English trainer to a Japanese online school and registering to FVA's freelancing course.

The more I knew about all the possibilities there are in sites like Upwork and Onlinejob, the more excited and hopeful I became. Being able to work at the comfort of my home while earning double or even triple than what I was earning in corporate companies made it all worthwhile.

So why not test yourself? Be more than what you were yesterday and never let external factors define who you are! Be what you were always meant to become. Be the best version of yourself.

Thanks to my training at FVA I was able to learn a lot of techniques that apply to both my career and my life as a whole. Each session was an amazing adventure and each achievement felt like a step closer to my goals.
