The angel was asked to bring Dean to Michael but he wasn't going to do it. He wouldn't let Dean get hurt because of him and Michael would hurt him.

Dean noticed Cas seemed lost in thought, walking over to him he glanced at him "Cas are you okay? You seem pre-occupied something wrong?"

Castiel was having to follow orders with heaven to stop Dean from doing anything stupid. He stood there and watched as he saw his superior trying to hurt Dean. The Angel didn't like what he was seeing and he was getting angry at him. He drew a sigil on the wall covered in blood and he placed his hand onto it before he went back to the bunker with Dean. "Don't worry your safe now okay?" The Angel smiled at Dean and watches him closely. "Whatever happens next I'll come and keep you safe I promise you! I won't let any harm come to you, Dean." He offered him a wink and chuckled softly. "You mean alot to me."

Dean watched as Castiel brought them back to the Bunker, nodding at his words he smiles wincing slightly "Thanks Cas, glad your with us and not them" Touching his split lip he groans "Right now all I want to do it shower and sleep,and hopefully not worry about angels. Your the exception Cas I think your okay"

Castiel was asked to look after the Au version of Dean on his own. While Dean went out to get some more beer. He watches him closely tilting his head to the side.

Au Dean looks at him "Everything okay? Or is something wrong? I wanted to thank you for letting me stay here even though I still don't know how I got here."

Dean looks through the lore book and smiles "Yes Cas what's up?" Looking up he sees the kitten and then looks at Castiel "Oh found yourself a friend?"

Dean smiled back. " It's so good to see you man. " he can help but come forward and hug him. He clings to the angel like a life line. " I've missed you."
