Honestly this part of the mv had me giggling cause this mf had to check and see if he caught them and smiled when Aphelios gave him the thumbs up

And in his bio, he basically expected Heartsteel to just be another band that would come and go in his life but he actually grew to like them because they accepted him and Rhaast which makes me go

Also I headcanon him and K’Sante being a bit close. It’s not clear on the outside, but they tend to have unexpected late night meetings that lead to some deep conversations. It stays between them.

IDK I FEEL LIKE K’SANTE CAN PRETTY MUCH TELL IF KAYN (or anyone for that matter) HAS SOMETHING GOING ON. He doesn’t force Kayn to tell him anything but he’s willing to listen if he does. Sometimes they talk over snacks.
