Sweet Emotions Challenge

I just hit 27,000 followers! That’s such a crazy number, and I have a lot of feelings and emotions about it. Sooooo…let’s have a challenge, shall we?

Everyone who signs up will be given an emotion, and that emotion will be the foundation of a fic! I’m so excited to read what you guys come up with!

Rules:

1. Send me an ASK (not a comment or a private message- I will not answer those) that tells me your first and second choice prompt and what pairing you will be writing for. I prefer ships (any and all ships, write your fave pairings), but will accept reader inserts. All characters welcome, but they must be from Supernatural.

2. Use that prompt to write a fic. Plot is all yours- all genres/tropes/AUs welcome, just make sure to tag accordingly.

Special Announcement

My birthday is coming up, and I’m turning the grand old age of 31. Yes, I’m aware, I’m an old lady. But, I want to share some love. Now, my birthday is actually on Thursday 3rd August but I’m not about that day. So, the celebrations here will be on the 6th August, which is the Sunday.

Are you a fanfic writer, but you don’t have the courage to post your work? Are you worried to share because you’re not sure how it will be received? Wanna get a little boost for your blog?

All this week, I want you to submit your fanfiction to me. Preferably oneshots, as they’re a bit easier to deal with, but I want to get YOUR work out there. 

It doesn’t matter your skill level, whether English is your first language or fifth. The only restriction here, is that it either has to be reader insert or canon fic. No OC’s or ships, mainly because I don’t usually get involved with those. And it has to be Supernatural.

I will be publishing these all day on Sunday 6th August, to give you a chance to get your work out there and see what the reaction is. Or even if you’re a smaller blog and want to get your work out there. If you submit and request to be anonymous, then that’s perfectly fine, just let me know either way. 

Make sure you include a summary, pairing, word count and any applicable warnings. No restriction on genre (angst, fluff, smut) I will post it. If you could make sure it is double spaced, just for easier reading, that would be lovely too!

This is my gift to all those writers out there who want to share their creations with a wider audience. We all started small here, and I want to help some of the smaller, wonderful blogs I know, get some recognition. Divas of Storytelling Challenge

To celebrate my reaching 5K / 2 year anniversary on Tumblr and @kitchenwitchsuperwhovian reaching 300 followers we’d like to host a challenge near and dear to our hearts. A music challenge featuring female artists. These women tell stories with their music and what better way to honor them but to write some Supernatural fan fiction!
