i've got a few things to talk about in this announcement, but first i just wanted to thank everyone for making the past month as fun as it was both on the dash and in the server. i honestly didn't expect us to last a week, much less a month, so thank you for giving this place a chance and sticking with it. i can't even tell you guys how hard i've laughed reading through the things you guys sent to the chatting channel. with that said, it's with a heavy heart that i must inform all of you that i will be closing angelenosfm. we've had a good run, but all good things must come to an end, and i love this place too much not to give it a proper send-off. this is not a goodbye but a see you later, and i can't speak for everyone but i would absolutely love to keep writing with all of you. again, thank you all so, so much for joining this silly little rp that i double dog dared myself into opening one random wednesday night. we'll meet again, don't know when, but i'm pretty sure it'll be at tim and jay's. catch you later!

it's finally time for our first event! join us for locals' week at the santa monica pier—a full week of activities curated by locals, for locals. more details under the cut!

as it was for our first task, participation in our first event is not required but highly encouraged! listed below are key features of the event that you can work into your starters and interactions. this event will run from march 18-28 pdt, and all event starters must be tagged with #localsweek.starter so other muns know that you're participating. have fun and see you at the pier!

live music — local bands will be playing at the pier all week long, including angelenosfm's very own RATS ( led by kai wells ) and the deep end ( led by nik luna ) !

art exhibits — homegrown artists will be showcasing and putting their work up for sale !

various stalls — some of our finest locally-owned small businesses have set up shop at the pier for the week ! come on down to the pier if you'd like to try dream bubble's limited edition pacific wheel boba, eden general goods' famous homemade samosas, gelato la trusca's special berry trifecta ( created specifically for locals' week ), and hare and hornet's deep-fried mars bars. local artisans are also selling their crafts, so be sure to take a look while supplies last !
