hiruzen voice remember when i told everyone that orochimaru the orphan was inherently evil as a child and even someone who never talked to him like ibiki had built a profoundly fearful image of him in his mind, effectively isolating him? and now orochimaru is a legitimate threat to konoha both in terms of state secrets and sheer destructive power? huh what if i let everyone in the village treat naruto like that from birth? like assume this child is evil and shit and just be completely fearful and ostracize him, a orphaned child with no advocate? the walking talking nuclear bomb that has been put into my capable hands? this has obviously never backfired on me :)
