"I asked him to. I nearly begged him to. But he refused, as it would have been running away from the problem, and he refused to do that." Hawaii sighed. "I can't believe it sometimes."

"We're pretty close." Hawaii said. "Zee is more likely to become independent than me, though..."

"When everyone realised this wasn't going to be a couple month stint and actually a complete takeover... Father stopped pushing things to the side and let me know... what being a colony actually meant."

"They'll join us willingly. I know it! And I haven't met all of them, so... I don't think anyone will notice."

"Oh heavens no. I'm a colony. Like Russian America. I'm also under the Russian America company, but I have seperate leaders."

"Once. As far as I know, at least. He's very... quiet."

Russian Hawaii, do you attend galas and dances a lot?

"Sometimes. And if I'm good, I get to talk to people." She smiled a little, "I do adore a good gala. It makes me happy to see other people. There's not many people to talk to besides отец and Alaska at home, so meeting others is refreshing for me."
