my favorite part about Date Everything is that it becomes a horror game when you actually think about it for even a moment.

everything in your house. is alive.

every appliance, every piece of furniture. the air you breathe, the water you flush down the toilet. the goddamn toilet itself.

they've been alive, the whole time. watching, listening, judging. there is nothing they do not know. they've seen and heard everything you thought was private.

think of all those moments you have when you're alone in your home. the things you would never let anyone else see. every gross, embarrassing, intimate, heartbroken, and painful moment. even your nightmares were laughing at you.

and you were never actually alone. for any of it.

those nights you cried yourself to sleep? your bed could feel your tears soaking into her.

that time you got so sick you spent the whole day on the bathroom floor? the floor could feel herself grow slippery with your sweat.

and it's not their fault, of course it isn't. i'm sure Betty would have held you if she could, stroking your back until you fell asleep. i'm sure florence would have gotten you a cool rag and a glass of water if she'd been able.

it's as much torture for them as it is for you.

maybe when you're mad your slam your doors. or maybe you throw your dirty clothes into a corner and wait too long to wash them again. maybe you once plugged in one too many things and blew a fuse.

and none of them, not dorian or dirk or eddie or volt were able to tell you that you were hurting them. they could only suffer and endure.

and that's not your fault. if you'd known they could feel, you'd have been much more careful. but you still hurt them all the same.

also almost every single one of them has probably seen you naked.

So this is actually a question for you, Dev, but what fonts did you use for the game? Like, the bachelor infoboxes, the in-game dialogue, that kind of stuff? (I could tell the dialogue was some kind of sans serif, but I can't figure it out, lol)

Also, is it possible for we'll get an blank template somewhere in the future for our OC/MC profiles? 😙

hi hi, we used quite a few different fonts for aesthetics sake asdfds

for dialogue text we used nunito sans while the rest (chatroom, email, pc desktop, etc) is silkscreen. The font for the chatroom name is Cursive, and the main menu buttons is 8-bit HUD.

MC templates were actually on my mind for some time but were at the bottom of my list 🥺 I'm not a good graphic designer (Renbie says otherwise LOL) but I might figure something out when I have time! I do wanna see everyone's MCs TOT!!

10 Lies Your Character Believes About Themselves (And They’d Die Before Admitting It)

These aren't the fun, Disney Channel lies like “I'm just a regular girl” while literally being a secret pop star. These are the ugly ones. The ones that get in your character’s blood and start rewriting their whole life without them noticing.

» “If people really knew me, they'd leave.” Not "might." Would. No question. So they smile bigger. They edit harder. They keep conversations surface-level. All while carrying this bone-deep certainty that love is conditional... and they are dangerously close to failing the test.

» “I have to earn every good thing.” Rest? Happiness? A day without guilt? They treat those things like prizes at the end of a brutal obstacle course. No one told them they could just have good things. No strings. No blood price. (So they keep bleeding anyway.)

» “I'm too much.” Too loud. Too intense. Too sensitive. Too complicated. They know it. They've been told. So now they pull themselves in, hold their breath, bite back everything real until they barely take up space at all. (And ironically, they still think they’re being "too much.")

These are the things your character claims are just “how they are” but really, they’re bleeding all over everyone and calling it a vibe.

╰ They say they're "independent." Translation: They don’t trust anyone to stay. They learned early that needing people = disappointment. So now they call it ��being self-sufficient” like it’s some shiny badge of honor. (Mostly to cover up how lonely they are.)

╰ They say they're "laid-back." Translation: They stopped believing their wants mattered. They'll eat anywhere. Do anything. Agree with everyone. Not because they're chill, but because the fight got beaten out of them a long time ago.

╰ They say they're "a perfectionist." Translation: They believe mistakes make them unlovable. Every typo. Every bad hair day. Every misstep feels like proof that they’re worthless. So they polish and polish and polish... until there’s nothing real left.

╰ They say they're "private." Translation: They’re terrified of being judged—or worse, pitied. Walls on walls on walls. They joke about being “mysterious” while desperately hoping no one gets close enough to see the mess behind the curtain.

╰ They say they're "ambitious." Translation: They think achieving enough will finally make the emptiness go away. If they can just get the promotion, the award, the validation—then maybe they’ll finally outrun the feeling that they’re fundamentally broken. (It never works.)

╰ They say they're "good at moving on." Translation: They’re world-class at repression. They’ll cut people out. Bury heartbreak. Pretend it never happened. And then wonder why they wake up at 3 a.m. feeling like they're suffocating.

percy basically wrapped bao into dressing up with him before she paid up. Bao was hesitant at first but then agreed since no one else was around. Then she found the really fluffy skirt (its too big for her) matched it with the white top n belt. Jamie walked in with the flowers (for yet another vase) and with Nena. He was very confused. bao then finds the veil and jamie finds the gun and gives it to her.

Aha unfortunately I shan’t be sharing those— only because the inspo boards I’ve made is not something we own so I’m not comfortable spreading it around.

That being said— mm

Jamie’s aesthetic is centered around academia/smart clothing. It’s usually button ups/sweaters/cardigans and khakis or dark bottoms; depending on the weather.

Elio’s is always athleisure wear. Or a simple T and shorts. As cute as his design is, I always pictured him as the kind of guy who throws on whatever he grabs first in his closet.

Percy has that East Asian casual style. Stuff you might find at Uniqlo or pfftt whatever Kpop idols could be wearing. I also think he adjusts based on the season— wearing brighter things during summer and spring and toning it down for fall and winter.

Cameron’s that y2k and sorta punk style but also… “I’m an artist” vibe. I don’t know how to explain it really but whenever I see patterned clothing or stylish cropped tops I tend to think it would fit Cam well.

Deja’s is whatever is currently in fashion/what I think accentuates her figure. It’s simultaneously the easiest and hardest to look at outfits for her because I know she would love this chic top but it’s just a little bit overboard for school so I have to tone it down with jeans or a more causal jacket. Business casual I think works as a reference, with a slight more emphasis on casual since she’s still so young.

And Reynah is easy with cottage core/spring vibes. If it works for a picnic and it’s cute then that’s Reynah!
