I don’t even know who is still here and who isn’t, it has been so long since I’ve done any sort of check in… but I suppose you all deserve a life update. My father, who you all knew was an Animal Kingdom fan, passed away on New Year’s Day 2024 and it completely rocked my world. It physically hurt me until it didn’t, I miss him all the time, and the last year was spent quietly healing and learning to live life without him. I cook a lot, I’ve turned my home into a wonderful, cozy library. I’m at a very busy job with very early hours, Mia is a high school graduate who works a great job, is 21 now, and is happy and healthy and in a relationship (with someone who works on movie scripts no less). I’m living a life I prayed for even though not everyone I prayed for is a part of it. I’m still over the moon obsessed with @shelbybroslimited and probably always will be and I really hope all of you are good, happy, healthy, and all the things in between.

What did you think of the Peaky Blinders season finale? I can't wait for the movie to come out soon.

And season three of Gangs Of London should be coming out this month too.

I didn’t enjoy the final season of Peaky BUT I’m holding out hope that the movie will make up for it.

I still have to finish season 2 of GoL! I’ve been so busy that I really haven’t watched a lot of tv, I should make an updated list so we all have something to talk about lol

I want to be so clear and say that AK-A is not going anywhere and I’m not deleting just because the show is over. Now it’s time to move on a bit… maybe start here with something else.

I’ve had the best years doing all of this with you and AK ending is so bittersweet. I love our conversations and liveblogs and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
