--------------------- Mechanics (Sanity Meter) Due to the current unstable revival of '???' they're sanity is unstable, so they have a sanity meter that'll slowly drop starting a 100%. As their sanity begins to decrease, their stats start to change, increasing the movement speed but at the cost of either, extraction speed, skill check or stealth. But when at 0% the stats go all over the place switching up every 20-30 seconds.

(Hallucinatory Monsters) Part of Y/N's condition involves a severe case of schizophrenia, this leading to their imagination going wild, twisted (pun intented) & dark. Monsters with warped smiles & frowns all with the urge to torment, an urge to kill even they can't. All to laugh at Y/N's pain, agony & suffering. Most of these imaginary demons lurk with in the dark, but some disguise themselves within dim lighted area's in animate objects like machines, plushies etc. All with different mechanics, but what they can do if they catch Y/N off guard is jumpscare and make them lose about 5-10% sanity. When Y/N's at 0% sanity however they can actually get hurt by the said monsters

Fun Fact: Getting chased by twisteds can also lead to a loss in sanity as it increases the loss rate from 1% to 2.5%. (Sanity Recovery) There are times where Y/N can recover their sanity, there are about fives different ways that Y/N's sanity can be recovered. The Elevator: During the elevator Intermissions, be it you stand still or move, you automatically regain some sanity but only slowly by 1%. Voting Time: There will be cards listed called positive outlook or boosted charisma in which if it's voted on, Y/N's sanity will increase by 5%. But it only rarely appears making it a super rare card that can appear. The Toons: The Toons will all share an active ability called named Sorrowful Comfort. This ability allows toons of any kind to comfort Y/N in order to keep them calm & focused during the run. The said comfort will actually boost Y/N's sanity a bit dependent on the toon rarity. But since its a shared ability only one toon is able to use it, and who it will be active for is chosen by random chance every floor. Commons: Boost by 2% (Cooldown 25 Seconds) Uncommons: Boost by 3% (Cooldown 30 Seconds) Rares: Boost by 4% (Cooldown 40 Seconds) Mains: Boost by 5% (Cooldown 60 Seconds) Being Idle: Y/N standing still is like them taking a minuet to just breath, to try and regain their focus. This increases their sanity by 1% just like within the elevator. Doing a Machine: When doing machine Y/N will be able to regain sanity by 0.5% if they do a successful skill check, it'll be a point 0.7% if they hit the yellow bar on the said skill check. However, if they fail a skill check it'll be -2.5% of sanity they lose due to them freaking out a little cause of the noise & the noise attracting other twisteds.

(Abilities) Y/N despite not even being a main is the toon to have two abilities and two trinkets.

Toggle Ability (Flashlight): Y/N managed to find a flashlight within Gardenview, left by an old employee. However, its battery is limited so the flashlight is to be used wisely & with caution. With Y/N's thoughts turning into literal darkened monsters, a flashlight is the perfect defense mechanism as Y/N's hallucinations hate light as not only does it make them flee but it literally burns them out of existence. But since batteries are limited, batteries will sometimes be scattered around the map as a rare item. Batteries can also be bought at the shop (only Y/N can have access to batteries since they're the ones with the flashlight) Batteries give back around 15-25% energy up. As the flashlight is used however that's when the energy within starts to decrease so be careful. (Only is Active when Y/N is using the flashlight) Passive Ability (Concern): This ability mainly works if Y/N is on a solo run. If no one is in the elevator with Y/N then not often but every so often, they'll get an assist from some of the twisteds. (Yes, the twisteds are also yandere's) Say for example Y/N is on a floor with maybe 4 twisteds, at least one or two of those twisteds would want to help you. It's not for certain when twisteds will help as it all up to random chance.

Dysfunctional Obsession: ???'s Lore

Waking up in a room that's not their own Y/N awoken with a strained look on their face, slowly observing the surroundings they see a somewhat familiar face. It was Delilah in the room and proceeded to question them

Delilah: Do you feel alright?

???:....No.......I....don't.......who.....are-?

Delilah: Wait you don't......you don't remember me?

???: I don't........I don't know who.....you are......

Delilah: Do you remember anything.......?

???:............No.............welll, the last thing at least was.....being hit hard on the head....my vision turned grey & soon enough I just..........blacked out.....it felt like I was floating......... Delilah: Interesting...do you at least remember who are? ???: I'm sorry...........I'm not sure what you're on about......?

Delilah: *sighs* Don't worry about that right now....let's just continue

Before we move on any further, let's talk about who Y/N was when they were first created. They were created the same way any other toon would be made through Delilah's hands; They needed a test run and that was making Y/N. Y/N was that test run, a successful one at that. However, the thing was that they didn't have a lot to offer, they did however do as they were told. They were given daily tasks to do every day, thinking that they were fine within it all. but that soon changed when they saw more like them being created being given being personalities. That would be the toons such as Dandy, Astro, Shelly, Sprout, Vee, Boxten, Poppy, Shrimpo etc. They saw the personality, the emotion, and it made them a little curious. But not curious enough sadly as they were unable to talk to them. However, Dandy had they come across Y/N unexpectedly while searching for certain pet....

Dandy: Ah, well hello there!

Y/N: Hm? Oh I've seen you before....Dandy was it?

Dandy: Oh so ya do know me. That's great!

Y/N: Sorry I'm not supposed to talk you, or any of the others

Dandy: Hm? What'cha mean by that uhhhh..actually what is your name exactly?

Y/N: I don't really have a name...or anything to bring to the table

Dandy: Bull-hockey

Y/N: Huh?

Dandy: Buddy, everybody has something that make them unique. Even Shrimpo does and he's uhhhh...more of an independent person.

Y/N: Who's Shrimpo?

Shrimpo: I'M SHRIMPO!

Y/N: YIPE! (Jumps a little)...Well its uh, nice to meet you? *holds out hand*

Shrimpo: SHUT UP, I HATE GREETINGS! *smacks hand away*

Dandy: Shrimpo, can't you be nicer? This fella over here is a brand new toon

Shrimpo: SHRIMPO DOESN'T NEED YOUR STUPID OPINION! *walks away*

Dandy: Ignoring that, I'm sure the others would be glad to meet ya

Y/N: Ya sure?

Dandy: I bet all of my 6 colorful petals on it

Y/N: Ok...but aside from that do you need any help?

Dandy: Yeah actually, pebbels ran of again. There my pet rock but they ran off again

Y/N: I think they ran off this way actually *points to the left*

Dandy: Well, that's real helpful, thanks new friend! Will talk about a name for ya later

Y/N: That felt good actually...... :/ .... :)

So, they had found out they had a knack for helping others, and they didn't even need orders. It was the first time they experienced something other than dullness that was everyday life. They went along helping out any other toons that were around to make sure that they themselves were happy, comfortable, and seen. They were fine with not having the spotlight on them They wanted their friends to feel seen as more as what Gardenview or the show 'Dandy's World' portrays them. Even helped Shrimpo and he mildly appreciated it. And while some of the staff such as the handlers did appreciate.... not all of the staff were about it...some say that they are making toons out of character.....some say there just nuisance, something not needed. But they didn't care what they said, they still pushed on. But unfortunately, one night while Y/N was getting ready to head back to their designated room.....

*THWACK!!!!*

Without even realizing it, Y/N had died (not the kind where you get isekaied) being hit hard on the head by something or someone. A major injury to the head caused a server loss of ichor leading them to bleed out. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of evidence to say. Their body was discovered by Delilah during closing hours and oddly enough she saw this as an opportunity. Delilah with that warped grin of hers had gotten the idea of bringing them back from the land of the dead.

The ability to revive a toon from death....sounds crazy right? What they used to make the toons, she had an old backup set with a revival setting, but it was covered in an old ichor substance. So, Delilah cleaned up the machine(mostly), wrapped up Y/N's injury in bandages and put the body in the machine. After that they were brung back however there were some side effects...symptoms if you will....

At first the symptoms were mild. They came back to do what would come usually in Gardenview, but the only thing is that they wouldn't talk as much or would struggle to even say anything without pausing every time. Afterwards they'd just stop talking all together. This worried the toons as they soon discovered that ??? looked like they needed help themselves. They did what they could for "???", just like how they would do for them.

But there was something that did change about "???" friends, they became more clingier, more possessive. For what, heaven only knows.........well except for Delilah. She has been observing "???" from behind the scenes. They figure it might have to do with the machine they used to bring them back. The old Ichor substance has changed ???'s ichor entirety, making it be pinkish & glow. It has this sort of pheromone causing toons to act so protective of '???'. As time grew old the effects increased to where some were willing to make sure Y/N stays away from those who may 'hurt' them. If it means they might need to do so themselves.

As for Y/N their symptoms had only grown worse bit by bit as they started to see things that weren't there, shrouded. Some were like reminders to 'stay in place', 'don't fall out of line'. While others were just based on the intrusive thoughts. Growing worse, they'd have issues with just thinking normally. It saddens the other toons how much despair that Y/N was now in, but at the same time they relished the thought of how much they needed them. Matter of fact its now what they want...if means that '???' be kept safe. Soon after the day of the said incident that shutdown Gardenview, Dandy was led to believe at that he could handle things without worry. At least thats what he was led to believe thanks to Delilah, even if he didn't fully believe that. But it didn't matter to him, it didn't matter toons. They were going to make sure that their 'love' was 'safe', even if they're methods are a little twisted.....

??? walks up towards the entrance, it's been a month since the shutdown. They sat there wondering if they can leave. But some of the toons out in the lobby saw them

Vee: So, what are you doing so close to the gate?

???:.........

Vee: Hmmm, somebodys silent~

Razzle: Dear its best if you'd say something....right...now...

???: GHH!!! I.....uh.......was....wondering........about....leaving.....

Dazzle:.......why's that.....?

Goob: What's this about leaving?

Razzle: Don't worry about it

Goob: OK! :) See ya Huggy Buddy!

*Just walks away goofily lol* ???: Well......I mean, it's been a month..........a month.......nobody is showing up..........it's pointless to stay..........don't you think....

Vee: Yeah no..........you're not going anywhere.......

???: Um.......look I *sighs*......I need a minuet to think..... I-I....I'm-m just gonna get some air.....I'll be ba-

??? puts their hand on the handlebars to leave only to be electrically shocked by the gate. The pain was excruciating; it felt like a million tiny daggers piercing through them. Flyte: Sheesh, don't really remember that happening when we leave the gate.

Vee: Oh right, I had that installed, it senses when someone with the same bio-readings is about to exit.

Ginger: That's a little much, well at least they can't leave now, right?

Vee: Mhm~

???: *staggered breathing* WHAT....THE HELL.....WAS THAT!?

Vee: Just a little something installed, it's great don't ya think~?

???: Why would-!? Vee: Because my star player, it's like I said~ You're not going anywhere, you fascinate us dear. It'd be such a waste to if you were just run off...if you were to get hurt. So it's for your safety that you stay with us~❤

Dazzle: Yeah, to be honest.....you're not really fit to leave even. No that you're going to anyways, your behavior despite it being adorable~ It's also concerning so, it'd best if you'd just let us help. We can look after you, forever.

Flyte: There's no need to be scared of us gorgeous, you're going to be fine~ More importantly your all ours~ Call it our way of repaying back the times you were there for us, you gorgeous little butterfly~❤ *hugs ??? with there wings, only for ??? to get pushed back a little*

Ginger: It's true Sweet Gumdrop, believe it or not you've done a lot for us back then. But seeing how your still here now, we can return the favor. Let us keep you safe Sweetie~❤ We're doing this because we love you. We care about you dear, were here for you, and were not going anywhere~ *clapses ???'s hands, holding them*

Razzle: That's right darling, so you don't have to worry about anything. More importantly you don't get a reason to be scared. Besides we're not going to hurt you. Just as long you play nice, I just know that you're going to be just fine darling~ And will be together, for the rest of eternity~

*??? backs away but dandy is behind them*

Dandy: I suggest you listen to us my precious sapling, besides everybody here in this place of ours is friendly. All we want just for you to accept that, to accept the love we all share. Just...for...you~ *gripping the left side of ???'s face, their touch felt warm, yet it felt like acid. It made you sick.....*

??? felt their head starting to spin as the world they knew once before is warped, ears ringing along with blurry vision. ??? falls.......they slowly start hyperventilating.........

???: I.......I........I need a.......moment........

Seeing their 'friends' act like this, keeping you trapped within this prison of comfort. Feeling eyes on their back...??? struggled to get up, without saying anything they leave out of fear looking back & the smile they wear....they're sweet but eerie.

They rest behind a wall for a little while, trying calm down but can't cause......there's something rising out of the puddle of ichor behind the boxes.....it was a black glowing heart with pink eyes smiling.....

??? is confused until...... soon enough they saw the smile become wider as the eyes and mouth was drooling pink liquid with its color dilating. A mace pops out of it.

Dark Heart Monster: *psychotic laughter* *starts swinging mace around*

*The Heart chucks the mace at wall as warning to Y/N* ???: *frightend scream*

The entity slams the mace towards where you're at and "???" dodges. The Heart Shaped Entity chases them as ??? runs, questions flood What did it want? Why does it want to kill you? These question flood through their head but with no answer. Wanting a place to hide, ??? rushed into the bathroom hoping it doesn't see them...But it did as they procced to bash on the door. You feel it banging on the door, you shut your eyes waiting for it go away.

Soon enough it does, however they still can't calm down. ???'s hyperventilation grows worse as tears fall down your face. They turn on the faucet in to try to help, but the sound of the water is not enough. They were panicking too hard, but then suddenly Tisha comes in along with Connie.

Tisha: Sweeping Angel? Is everything al- *gasp*

Connie: Hey Bandage Boy, are you- Oh shit.

???: *unaware of the their presence*

Tears flowing as they hold their head down, eyes beginning to dilate. You feel like you're passing out, or if you're about to hurl. Seeing this Connie goes first and hugs Y/N tightly while Tisha goes rubs ???'s back with their hand trying to help calm them down.

Connie: Hey, hey........relax silly. You're alright, you scared beautiful dumb dumb~ Do us a favor and stop freaking out won't ya? It's honestly creepin me and that's my thing. So snap back to reality yeah?

Tisha: Yes, sweeping angel, it's unhealthy for you to emit so much distress. It's ok dear, just calm down. Take a deep breath, slowly..........in & out. We're here were not going anywhere my dear. You're going to be ok....

??? felt their presence, the comfort was needed despite the situation. They pace themself and control how hard the oxygen leaves their lungs. Soon enough everything starts to calm down, vision comes back & the ringing starts to fade out. They tilt yourself up looking at the mirror viewing the depressing & tired look on your face. Eyes hollow, tears dry, bandages a mess as they look a little withered. With little light in their eyes, they say.......

???: God, I look stupid..... (in a dejected tone)

Connie: Dude don't say that. Besides your as beautiful as you ever looked my living specter~ Why wouldn't we want you to stay? You are ours after all~

Tisha: Yes dear, it's where we were made after all.....so you understand why you can't ever leave. ???: .............So did what they said was.........hold on were you-!?

Connie: Mhm~ I saw everything. Not gonna lie, your reaction while concerning was just so damn cute~ So don't worry your pretty little head, you're going to be just fine~

Tisha: Yes, my dear, you'll be taken care of by all of us. We do know that you feel as if you or any of us have no reason to be here. But you mean a lot to us, in many ways we can't count. Trust us my sweeping angel, you won't have to be in pain any longer...just as long you stay here, with us.

Connie: Yeah silly, everyone in this place wants you to stay. You're just too precious to just up walk out, besides it is your home after all. You wouldn't want to leave home & get hurt would you~?

???: I.....no.....

Connie: Good~ Now you should get going, it's getting late after all. Tisha: Come, I'll escort you.....

Connie: Adios Bandage Boy~

??? follows tisha to there room to see that shrimpo was there just leaning against the wall. Also Astro was there playing with there magic out of boredom lol ???: Ghh...Shrimpo & Astro!

Shrimpo: Chill out, drama bomb! They told us to guard your damn room.

Astro: Shrimpo...but yeah that's what we're doing.

???: Who did?

Shrimpo: Who do ya think? Dandy duh! I didn't want to but that stupid flower is making me. I hate it! Also don't go in cause uh....

Brusha: I'm done~

???: Oh..........

Tisha: Brusha....

Brusha: Tisha....

???:..............uhhh. what?

Brusha: Ah right, come in & see what we've done Mon muse Emotionel~

???: Who's we?

Boxten: Uh.....hey that would be..us y-yeah.

??? walks in to see that it was prepped up with a bed, dresser, closet, a plant on the floor, desk, laptop with a bit of a welcome gift which was just some treats Cosmo, Sprout, Ginger & Cocoa made. Bon Bons & Cookies. Also book about fossils left by Shelly. A poster on the wall that says welcome to Gardenview.

???: I uh.....

They look at them with, waiting for an answer. Hoping that the answer was they love it alot, cause it done with love for you. Seeing this......you had no choice but to accept it........you don't want to make things worse......do you?

???: It looks, great......thanks....I guess.....

Cosmo: No problem, Cinamin Roll~ *kisses them on the cheek*

???: Ok I'm just gonna sleep........I guess.....

Astro: Ok, I'll tuck you in starlight~

???: I....can do that myself........

Astro: Dear, let me tuck you in......

???: *sighs* Fine.......

Poppy: Alright, good night you Bubbly Little Sodapop *kisses them on the cheek*

Feeling defeated, feeling numb to almost everything that just happened...??? falls asleep without a second thought. They felt tired, they pondered alot with question running to through their head..........but the main ones being.....What happened to their 'friends'? What am I gonna do?......They can't help but feel like what made them like this.........is their own fault........the poor helpless toon..........a scrambled mind with a tainted soul....now has to live within this...forever home. But hey at least they'll never be alone...right?
