Sailor Stars
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be about the final season of the Sailor Moon anime, titled Sailor Stars. If you haven’t already seen this season, I highly recommend watching it because there will be spoilers. Also this post concludes my review of the series, however there is a possibility of there being a review of the 2014 reboot of the series. Anyway, time for a synopsis.
We start off just after Sailor Moon had thought she defeated the Dark Queen Nehelenia. In the last season she sealed herself in a mirror, but someone from far off in the galaxy freed her for reasons that will be revealed later in the season. With that, the outer senshi return for battle, and on top of that, the soldier of destruction, Sailor Saturn reawakens for the fight. The powers of all the sailor soldiers combined however were not enough. With that, they instead used their powers to help Sailor Moon achieve her true form. This form is known as Eternal Sailor Moon. With this power, her and the rest of the soldiers were able to finish off Nehelenia. This however is not the end of the fight.
The one to awaken Nehelenia in the first place was the legendary sailor soldier, Sailor Galaxia. Galaxia, is the strongest soldier to ever exist. The malice was sealed within her during the sailor wars, which took place centuries prior. With that she began stealing star seeds from sailor soldiers across the galaxy. The ones who intend to stop Galaxia are the newly introduced, Sailor Starlights. They come from another solar system, and their names are Sailor Star Fighter, Healer, and Maker. Their mission is to find their princess and defeat Galaxia. However, to the sailor soldiers we know, they were enemies. The main enemies of this arc were sailor soldiers. These soldiers traded their freedom to Galaxia, so that they could live.
In the final fight with Galaxia, Sailor Uranus and Neptune fall to this, and end up being controlled, but in the end their love overcame the mind control. All of the other sailor soldiers lost their lives protecting Sailor Moon during the fight. The Sailor Starlights are the last soldiers along with Sailor Moon. They mustered up all the power they could, but it wasn’t enough to beat Galaxia. However, Sailor Moon was able to fight back and in the end dispelled the malice within Galaxia. In doing this, she freed all of the star seeds, and all the sailor senshi had been revived. The Earth, no the Galaxy was once again at peace for good this time.
The music in this season was amazing. I really liked how they changed things up and gave this series a brand new opening titled, “Sailor Star Song”. This is honestly my all time favorite song from the series. I also really liked the ending titled, “Kaze mo, Sora mo, Kitto”. Also, the background music was really well done. I really liked the Sailor Starlights henshin music, as well as the music they sang. “Search for your Love” was an amazing song, and I liked that it was incorporated into the episoded multiple times.
The animation in this season was also really good. There were a few inconsistencies, but overall, the animation was still beautiful.
Overall, I rate this season a 10/10, and this anime a 100/10.

Sailor Moon SuperS
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be about the fourth season in the Sailor Moon series. Specifically titled, Sailor Moon SuperS. As always, make sure to watch the anime beforehand because there will be spoilers. Anyway, time for a synopsis.
This season starts off with Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibiusa watching an eclipse. This eclipse was the perfect distraction for the Dead Moon Circus to invade earth without getting any attention. Their plan worked and the giant floating circus in the sky went unnoticed. The enemy's motive in this story is to find Pegasus, later revealed as Helios, and to steal the Golden Crystal from him. In order to find Pegasus, the enemy captures a human and looks into their beautiful dreams. The dream Pegasus hides in is Chibiusa’s. This leads to the both of them developing a relationship. This season also introduced a new power for the Sailor Soldiers. The inner senshi got an upgrade, Sailor Moon gained the ability to use Moon Crisis Power without the Holy Grail, and on top of that, Sailor Chibi Moon gained the Crisis Power as well. This power was possible with the help of Pegasus and his Golden Crystal.
The main enemies were the Amazon Trio and the Amazoness Quartet. The sailor soldiers, and their kind nature freed them from the spell they were under. With that, they progressed to their true enemy, Queen Nehelenia. Her plan was to take the Golden Crystal, gain eternal youth, and to take over the earth. With the power of love and justice, the sailor soldiers once again defeated their enemy. With that the forest of dreams was saved and the earth returned to a peaceful state for a good few months. The rest of this story continues in the last season of the series, which we’ll leave for the next post.
The animation, I feel was at its best of the whole series. It definitely improved from the last season. Also, the colors seemed more beautiful, considering this is the Dream Arc season. Also, the animation was consistent and had next no mistakes. Basically, the animation was really good.
The soundtrack in this season was also really good. I liked the circus theme it had, as well as the elegant background music. Again, they used Moonlight Densetsu as the opening, however, the ending songs were really good. Specifically the first one called “Watashi tachi Ni Naritakute”. The other song I really enjoyed was “Sailor Team no Theme”, which I feel was one of the best songs produced from the series. Overall, I really liked the music in this season.
I give this season a rating of 10/10.

Sailor Moon S
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be continuing the review of the Sailor Moon anime series. Specifically, I will be covering season three, which is titled Sailor Moon S. As always, make sure to watch the anime beforehand because there will be spoilers. Also this is my favorite season in the whole series, for a number of reasons. I would hate for anyone to get spoiled and not see this amazing season. Anyway, time for a synopsis.
This season starts with the new enemy. It’s an organization called the Death Busters. They are trying to end the world by getting the three talismans together and giving them to their evil messiah. This would then awaken the silence. Rei Hino (aka. Sailor Mars) foresees this happening in the future with her psychic powers, and the rest of the guardians later see this in their dreams. This terrible future is also seen by two brand new guardians. Their names are Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus. They are known as the outer guardians, because their planets are in the outer solar system. This means the sailor soldiers we know now are known as the inner guardians. The new sailor soldiers are also known as Michiru Kaioh and Haruka Tenoh. They are seen as lovers, and build the main theme of romance in the series.
The soldiers must face off against Witches 5, which are the underlings under the Death Busters. With the power of love and justice, the soldiers defeat them all. While these battles are happening, Chibiusa, who reveals herself as Sailor Chibi Moon, makes a friend name Hotaru Tomoe. She is a girl who has powers, however she suffers from an illness that makes her have seizures. Later, we meet another sailor soldier, named Sailor Pluto, the guardian of time. Her human identity is Setsuna Meioh. She appears to offer her talisman after Sailor Uranus and Neptune find out that they were the carriers of the other two talismans. With the Garnet Orb, Space Sword, and Deep Ocean Mirror, they summoned the Holy Grail. This is what had Sailor Moon gain the power of the messiah. She turned into Super Sailor Moon, and became stronger than ever.
In a desperate attempt to heal Hotaru from a trance she was in, Sailor Moon gave the Holy Grail to her. This amplifies her power and turns her into Mistress 9. The soldiers were going to see the world end as foreseen. The evil is dispelled from Hotaru and it turns into the silence, but this gives her the chance to finally become the soldier of destruction, Sailor Saturn. Her power could destroy a planet in a single blow, however this kills her in the process. Sailor Saturn jumps into the silence to defeat it, and behind her, Sailor Moon jumps in. With their powers combined, they defeat the silence, and Hotaru is reborn. The world once again is at peace thanks to the sailor soldiers.
After that whole story, time for a review on the music. Honestly, I feel it was the best in the series. I really liked the romantic music it would play and the violin music. The opening didn’t change and stayed as “Moonlight Densetsu” for the third time in a row. Though, I paid little attention to the ending, I thought it was good. Overall, I feel the way the music was orchestrated well.
The animation, I feel, really improved and I also liked how they made the colors more lively. The animation was consistent and had very few errors. Basically, I have no complaints at all.
I rate this season with a 10/10. (Time to get a little personal) It honestly impacted and helped me get through my depression. This story touched a few topics that I could relate to, and really just built my self esteem a bit more.

Sailor Moon R
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be the second part of the Sailor Moon anime review. We will be reviewing the second season, titled “Sailor Moon R”. As always, please watch the anime before hand because there will be spoilers. Trust me, this is an anime that you want to enjoy blindly. Anyways, let’s get started with a synopsis.
Season 2 of this series was about our favorite sailor soldiers being awakened once again after losing their memories from their previous battle with the Dark Kingdom. Now they face more interstellar enemies. The enemies reveal themselves to be a pair named Ail and Ann. They come to earth hoping to steal life energy in order to bring life to the Hell Tree. This was a pretty short arc actually. In the end, the pair found out that to bring life to the tree, they needed love.
Now for the main arc. We start off with Usagi and Mamoru just being together like they always wanted, but then a little girl named Chibiusa falls from the sky and changes everything. Chibiusa is actually running from a group of bad guys who come from the New Moon. It turns out that they come from the future trying to keep Crystal Tokyo from forming so that they could kill Neo Queen Serenity. It then turns out that Chibiusa as well is from the future and she is trying to get Sailor Moon and the others to save her mom. Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask, and the other guardians head to the future with Chibiusa, and they learn very crucial but obvious information. Sailor Moon is Neo Queen Serenity in the future. It is also learned that Tuxedo Mask goes by King Endymion in the future. Lastly, they learn that Chibiusa is the daughter of Serenity and Endymion. Basically, Usagi and Mamoru’s future child. With all this information, they return to the present and they defeat the people of the New Moon.
The music in this season was really good. I really how they made personalized themes for each of the sailor soldiers. Also, I really liked the song, “Ai no senshi”. The background music was more or less the same. I have no complaints for it, as they did add new but few music pieces.
The animation seemed to get an improvement from the first season. The character models seemed more defined, but slightly. I also liked how they kept the animation consistent. Basically, I feel the animation was good for it’s time considering this was a 90s anime.
I rate this anime a 9.8/10. The episodes weren’t as repetitive as the last season.

Sailor Moon
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be the beginning of a five part post. Each part will be reviewing each season of the Sailor Moon anime series. This post will be about the first season. This is my favorite 90s anime of all time, which is why I’ve decided to leave this review as my last. As always, please watch the anime if you haven’t already before reading this review because there will be spoilers. Now for a synopsis.
This anime is about a third year junior high girl. Her name is Tsukino Usagi. One day she comes across a black cat with a bandage on its forehead. Usagi pulls it off revealing a crescent moon and this changes her life dramatically. The cat reveals itself as being able to talk and says it’s name is Luna. Luna is the one who helps Usagi become the one and only Sailor Moon. She goes off on adventures fighting Youma from the dark kingdom and making new friends. Usagi befriends the intelligent and kind Ami Mizuno. This leads to Luna recognizing her as a sailor guardian, and then it’s revealed that she is Sailor Mercury. Later, they both meet a beautiful shrine maiden named Rei Hino, who is revealed to be Sailor Mars. Next, the three befriend another girl named Makoto( Mako ) Kino, who turns out to be the fourth sailor guardian, Sailor Jupiter. Lastly, The four guardians meet up with a girl named Minako Aino, who was once Sailor-V, but now goes by Sailor Venus. Together, they fought against the dark kingdom. However, when their powers weren’t enough, the dashing Tuxedo Mask would come to the rescue. His identity is later revealed as Mamoru Chiba.
The sailor guardian’s mission was to defeat Queen Beryl, find their moon princess, and to summon the Legendary Silver Crystal. In their final fight with the dark kingdom, they find out that Usagi is the moon princess, known as Princess Serenity. Tuxedo Mask is also revealed to be Endymion, and the two were a couple in their past lives. Usagi’s love for Mamoru was strong enough to summon the Legendary Silver Crystal, and with that she used it to defeat the dark kingdom and Queen Beryl.
The music in this season was very beautifully orchestrated. I really enjoyed the opening, “Moonlight Densetsu”, which is a very famous anime opening. Also, I know it’s not a song, but I really liked the transformation theme. Basically, words can’t express how amazing the music was.
The animation in this season was also really good. I enjoyed how beautifully animated the transformation sequences were. This was a 90s anime too, so the fact that they were able to animate such an eccentric scene was just amazing. Honestly, I have no complaints with the animation.
I rate this season with a 9.9/10. I know I only said good things about this season, but my one and only complaint was that each episode was too repetitive.

Yu Yu Hakusho
Welcome back my anime lovers. Today’s review topic will be about Yu Yu Hakusho. This is my third favorite anime of all time, and I’m super excited to be reviewing it. Anyway, If you are reading this, as always, please make sure you’ve watched the anime beforehand because there will be spoilers. This anime is very dear to me, and I would hate for anyone to have the story spoiled. Now, it’s time for a synopsis.
This anime is about a fourteen year old boy named Yusuke Urameshi. He’s not your average street punk. He makes everyone so scared that everyone who utters his name gets chills. Basically, Yusuke doesn’t have a very clean record. It wasn’t until fate was against him and decided to get him hit and killed by a car. Ever since that incident, Yusuke’s world got turned way upside down. Eventually, he would resurrect himself by doing tasks, with the help of Botan, that the prince of spirit world, Koenma, would ask of him. When resurrected, he became a spirit detective and learned his trademark move, the spirit gun. He makes allies along his journey as spirit detective. His team consisted of two demons named Hiei and Kurama, and a human named Kuwabara.
Throughout this series, they evolved from teammates, to friends, and finally to brothers. Though they were tough on the outside, they had a strong unbreakable bond. They fought in the Dark tournament, alongside Yusuke’s teacher named Genkai. Together, they were even able to defeat a human named Sensui, who has the power of sacred energy, which is the most powerful energy to have in this world. In their last adventure, the four of them were able to make peace in both the human and demon worlds. What this anime taught me is that a team with strong bonds is powerful enough to overcome anything.
The music in this series was definitely something else. I really liked the opening “Smile Bomb”. Also, I really liked the endings too. They had a growing up theme to it, and that made them really memorable. Also, the background music was really good too. I especially liked the theme that plays when Yusuke uses his demon form. Basically, I really liked the soundtrack.
The animation in this anime was also really good. I liked how from time to time they would use sharp animation to show the intensity of the battles that were taking place. My one complaint is that it wasn’t that colorful, but this is supposed to be a dark and edgy anime, so I guess there is a pass on that. Other than that, I felt the animation was well done.
I rate this anime a 10/10.

Space Dandy
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be about Space Dandy. This is not an anime meant for kids as it does make many sexual references and jokes. Also, if you are old enough and reading this, I highly recommend you watch the anime unless you want spoilers. Trust me, you want to watch this anime blindly. Now for a synopsis.
Space Dandy is about a dandy guy in space. He travels galaxies, collecting bounties for unknown alien species. Traveling beside him is his robot Q.T. along with the freeloading space cat named Meow. Together they get into all sorts of shenanigans and situations. During all of this, they were entirely oblivious that a space fleet called the Gogol Empire. Even when they would attack directly, it still never occurred to them that someone was after them. Somehow, even when they had nothing to do with it, dandy and the gang would still beat the Gogol Empire in the most stupid way possible. This is what gave the anime it’s charm because while it was stupid, it came out with very hilarious scenes that still make me laugh. Though this anime didn’t follow a plot, It was still very memorable.
The music was absolutely “out of this world”. I thought the opening, “Viva Namida” was amazing. It gave me an oldies feel, as did the background music, and that to me was amazing. I could see now why the anime appeals to a more older audience because it has throwback music and more adult themes. I also thought the ending song called, Jijen e Youkoso was pretty good as well. There’s one song that really stood out to me and it’s called Stardust Pipeline. It appeared in only one episode, was about a minute long, and I still love it. It had a space disco theme to it and after hearing it, I was just in awe. All in all, the music was amazing, and I think I found a new favorite music genre.
Next, the animation was amazing as well. Everything seemed to run super smoothly, so basically I have no complaints. I liked how they would often go from cartoon style to more serious look. I feel they did a really good job in that contrast. Also, I really liked how the anime wasn’t dull and used bright/ vibrant colors. Honestly, this anime was very aesthetically pleasing.
I give this anime a rating of 10/10.

Trigun
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be about one of my personal favorite anime, Trigun. Remember, as always to watch the anime beforehand because there will be spoilers. Anyway, let’s begin with a synopsis.
This anime is about a man with a bounty of sixty billion double dollars. His name is Vash the Stampede. He is a lone gunslinger who wanders across a post apocalyptic earth, whose only weakness is himself and donuts. He has the ability to destroy towns like that of a typhoon, thus he has the title “the human typhoon”. Vash makes friends along his journey. Their names are Nicholas D. Wolfwood, Meryl Stryfe, and Milly Thompson. In any situation Vash is in, they’re always there to help him. Vash’s mission in life is restore love and peace in the world, however this always ends up getting him into dangerous situations. Vash hates to take lives, because it goes against the very thing he is trying to restore and protect. The thing that drives his pacifist ways is his late caretaker named Rem. She basically raised Vash and made him into the angel that he is. We end off with Vash meeting his brother, Knives, who is basically his opposite. Knives is merciless and narcissistic. In the end they have showdown and it ends with Knives dead and Vash with his very first kill.
The music in this anime was amazing. I really liked the badlands theme they had going. I especially liked the opening sequence. They were always unique for every episode and on top of that, it didn’t even need lyrics to be cool. The background music was also really good, and goofy at times, and it also had really good emotion in it. The ending song was really good too that it always made me want to see more of the series.
The animation was also really good for the time that it was in. I really liked the serious, yet laid back style it had. The characters had serious designs, but had fun animation, and I found that to be very entertaining. However, sometimes the animation had a few inconsistencies, but it wasn’t bad, and very hard to notice if you don’t pay attention. All in all, I don’t really have any complaints with the animation.
This anime really deserves more recognition. I honestly really enjoyed watching it. It deserves a 10/10 rating.

Osomatsu-San
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be about Osomatsu-san. As always, remember to watch the anime. Also, this anime is not meant for children. If you’re underage, this is not something you should be watching as it does make many sexual references in almost every episode (you have been warned). Anyway, let’s start with a synopsis.
We start with the six brothers. Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyshimatsu, and Todomatsu. Each of them have their own unique personality. Osomatsu is your average perverted NEET. Karamatsu is a wanna be cool guy, who is also selfless. Choromatsu is the only responsible of the brothers, however his intellect does not take him very far. Next we have Ichimatsu who is a depressed, cat-loving, sociopath. Jyshimatsu is hyperactive, athletic, and psychotic. Finally, we have Todomatsu (my favorite) who is the two-faced brother who looks cute and innocent but would betray you when things are not convenient. Basically, these guys are terrible, but this is what makes them hilarious.
This series doesn’t really take on main plot. Every episode is a new story. There was one instance where all the characters were racing in wacky way in order to find a new main character. There was even a time when they played intergalactic baseball. Heck, there was an episode when they gender bent the sextuplets. Basically, this anime doesn’t really need a plot to be enjoyable. Yes, the jokes are highly inappropriate, but honestly their funny. It’s not just the annoying fart jokes you see on TV nowadays, there are actual good jokes that never stop being funny. I know this wasn’t much of a synopsis, it was more of an appreciation.
The music was really funny and wacky. The first opening is really good and honestly makes it really memorable. I really like though how in the ending song that the sextuplets would sing it. My favorite song personally is “Mutsu-Go”.
The animation, though it was really simple, was really good and vibrant. Well, the animation actually took different turns. From the simple showa era design to the modern, to even live action. These turns in animation were likely for comedy reasons. Honestly, even the CGI, when used was good. Basically, I have no complaints for the animation.
Next, I really liked the character designs. Though they were simple, they were very unique. One of the characters, Iyami, wears a purple suit and has huge teeth. Another character, Chibita, is a migit who looks like a child, but he’s actually an adult. There’s also Dayon, who’s basically the mascot of the whole show. His face is just huge and unforgettable.
Honestly, this is a really good anime. Though it’s inappropriate, some might say they take it too far, but I feel it really deserves a 10/10.

Gurren Lagann Part 2
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be the end of my two part review. We will be reviewing the second half of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. As always, remember to watch the anime before hand, unless you want to be spoiled. Anyway, the anime takes a time skip into the future, and this is where the more major events take place. Now, for a synopsis.
Seven years have passed, and our heroes have built up the human population to near the millions. Once it reaches that point, we meet our new villain, the Anti-Spiral. They attack the earth because they fear the humans gaining too much of spiral energy. This energy is what makes things evolve and grow stronger, which is what the Anti-Spiral are trying to stop. When attacking the earth, they kidnap Nia, whom is to get married to Simon but sadly the events delay this ceremony. This causes Simon and the gang to head out into outer space in hopes of rescuing Nia. This journey creates a new bond between Simon and the once thought to be a villain, Viral. With their powers combined, they were able to pilot Gurren Lagann and fight the enemy Anti-Spiral gunmen. Along with that. They were able to evolve Gurren Lagann even more while adventuring through space. There were some deaths while in battle. Even the great King Kittan died in battle, but this didn’t stop our heroes from saving Nia. In the end, Simon was able to evolve Gurren Lagann to a godly status and beat the Anti-Spiral. We end off with Simon and Nia finally getting married, but this does not end as expected (If you’ve been reading this without watching the anime, this is one scene I absolutely won’t spoil).
The animation in this series was amazing. Honestly, it had an animation ahead of its time, considering this anime appeared in 2007. I really liked the sharp, yet simple designs the characters had. Also, I really liked that there was not much CGI in the series. It would seem fitting that this anime had some considering it is a mecha anime, but it did really well without it.
Another thing I found that this anime had was a good plot. I liked how there was no repetition. Also, I enjoyed the character development, and how there was at least one character you could relate with.
Honestly, this has been one of the best anime I’ve seen in years. I give it a 10/10

Gurren Lagann Part 1
Welcome back my anime lovers, today’s post will be about the manliest anime to ever exist. It’s called Gurren Lagann. Before reading this, as always watch the anime because there will be spoilers and remember to bring tissues, because there will be tears; manly tears. Also this post will have two parts. Anyway, let’s start with a synopsis.
We start with a boy named Simon and he lives in an underground village. There he meets the brave and manly Kamina. They become blood brothers instantly and from there they work to try and leave the village. Simon finds a mini gunmen Kamina named Lagann, and this is what begins our journey. Not long after Simon and Kamina meet with a girl named Yoko and they become allies. After a battle in the underground village, Simon, Kamina, and Yoko go out to the surface world and go on adventures. Soon after, Kamina gets his own gunmen and names it Gurren. This trio meets a ton of new people like Leeron and the Black siblings. Simon and Kamina are then faced with an enemy beastman named Viral. He would basically serve as the rival character in the series. Many more battles were fought and they would lead to them discovering that their gunmen could combine into Gurren Lagann. This tactic would make them powerful enough to even face off against one of the great generals. This battle however would be Kamina’s last as he does meet his fate during the fight.
After the battle, Simon is sent into a spiraling depression, until he meets a girl named Nia. This girl is who would help him feel better after Kamina’s death and in the end defeat the other three generals. It is also discovered that she is a daughter of the Spiral King who is our main antagonist. All the battles fought then ready our heroes to face off against the Spiral King and they are victorious. In the end, Simon was able bring all humans out from underground and restore peace in the surface world.
Now for the soundtrack. The opening and ending was amazing. The background music was outstanding. Personally, my favorite songs from this anime were “Sorairo Days” and “Happily ever after”.
Today, I won’t be covering the animation aspect because that will be covered in the next post. The reason being because this series has a time skip so I figured that I’d spread out the review a little bit.
I give part one of the series a 10/10

Blood Blockade Battlefront
Welcome back my anime lovers. Today’s review will be about my personal favorite anime, Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront). As always, before you read this review, make sure to go watch the series before hand because there will be spoilers. Anyway, let’s start with a synopsis. Since this series doesn’t take on main storyline, we’ll just talk about the base of the series.
We start with our main protagonist Leonardo Watch, living his not so normal life. He is one of many people in Hell salem’s Lot (aka. New York) who have supernatural abilities. His power is his all seeing eyes of the gods. This power of his is what gets him his job at an underground organization called Libra. This organization is led by Klaus V. Reinherz, and his ability is to manipulate his blood, which is a common ability among the main characters. Leonardo, while trying survive working with Libra, runs into many strong beings, but his biggest challenge is being able to use his eyes. Leo has a more passive personality, meaning he hates to hurt others. His eyes give him the ability to see through illusions as well as things that are faster than the human eye can see. He can even distort people’s vision, but that would be an act of violence, and that is something Leo avoids. His passive nature also makes him a coward, but in the end he pulls through and saves the world from total chaos.
Leo’s reason, for being in Hell Salem's Lot is to find a way to recover the sight of his sister Michella, which was used in order to make the all seeing eyes of the gods possible. Until now, he still hasn’t found a way to recover her sight.
Now for the soundtrack. Honestly, words can’t explain as to how beautiful the soundtrack was. The opening and ending for the first season were just amazing, but for the second season I felt it was kind of lacking. Though the background music in the second season was by far outstanding. My personal favorite songs were “White Gloves” and “On my own”.
The animation really was beautiful smooth. I enjoyed the pastel like colors used. Also, I really found it neat how they recreated New York and gave it a more Halloween look. Honestly, I have no complaints with the animation, and I hope to see more of it if the creators would make a season three.
I give this series a 10/10 rating.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly
Welcome back my anime lovers. Today will be the conclusion to this three part blog. I shall end this with the latest movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. To start, I know this movie is not accessible to many as the movie had a limited time view. Considering that, do not read this post unless you have seen the movie. Trust me, this is something you do not want miss and I would hate for someone to get spoiled. Now for a synopsis.
We start on planet Vegeta, then we see a younger Frieza getting inaugurated as emperor. Then, we cut to King Vegeta going to visit his son, prince Vegeta, who is thought to be the strongest warrior to be born of the saiyans. Then, we find out that he is not the strongest, but it is Broly, son of Paragus. King Vegeta decides to send Broly to a far off planet, where he will most likely meet his death. This angers Paragus, then he decides to follow the pod Broly was sent in. We then cut to Bardock, coming to visit his son Kakarot (Goku), however he thinks Frieza is planning to destroy the planet. Bardock and his wife Gine steal a pod and send Goku off to earth. Hours later, planet Vegeta is destroyed and the last saiyans left in the universe are Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Kakarot (Goku), Broly, Paragus, and a few other unnamed saiyans.
We then go to a time skip to present day. In this time, it was only a few days after the Tournament of Power, and Goku was still looking for power beyond Ultra Instinct. Then, we find out that Capsule Corp was invaded by Frieza Force soldiers and the six of the seven Dragon Balls were stolen. The last Dragon Ball hadn’t been found yet, and this was a problem for Bulma since she planned to use them to look younger. The reason Frieza wanted the Dragon Balls was so that he could become taller.
After Broly and Paragus had been acquainted with Frieza, they went to attack the earth. Of course, Goku and Vegeta were ready to fight considering their most recent brawl in the Tournament of Power. They were strong, but Broly was powering-up as he fought. Eventually, he transformed into the Legendary Super Saiyan. He was so strong that not even Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta could beat him. They then fused to make Gogeta, and they were more than powerful enough to beat Broly. Their fight was so powerful, they broke into the realm of time and space. In the end, Broly was defeated but one of Frieza’s rouge soldiers, Cheelai decided to take the Dragon Balls and wish for Broly to be sent back to the planet he grew up on. Broly was saved, and somehow he and Goku became friends in the end.
After all of that, we now move to the soundtrack. I liked the rock and roll that was put in it, and the opening when they used the very nostalgic “Chala Head Chala”. Also, I liked how when there was a fierce fighting moment, the names of those fighting would be chanted with the music, and to me that seemed really cool.
Next, the animation. There are honestly no words for how amazing it was. It was nostalgic, and super colorful. The one thing I feel the movie could have done without were the CGI fight scenes. To me, they seemed cringy and it felt really unneeded, but I understand it’s to show the intensity of the fight.
Lastly, I give this anime movie a 9.8/10. The reason I didn’t give it a 10/10 is because I wasn’t satisfied with the ending.

Dragon Ball: Super ToP
Welcome back my anime lovers to this three part review. This is the second part, to the Dragon Ball: Super review. Specifically, we will be covering the tournament of power. As always, before reading one of my reviews, make sure to go watch the anime because there will be spoilers. Now for a synopsis of the tournament of power.
We start off with Goku proposing to Lord Zeno to hold a tournament that was promised in the Universe 6 vs. 7 tournament. This leads to Zeno creating the most dangerous tournament imaginable. All universes except for 1, 5, 8, and 12 would compete in a free for all battle royale. Each universe had needed to choose 10 warriors. This seemed all great, until Zeno announced that the universes that lose the tournament would be erased from existence. There is then an exhibition match that pinned universe 7 against 9. Our main fighters of the seventh universe were Goku, Gohan and Majin Buu. Of course universe 7 would prevail, however we are then met with a very strong character named Toppo from universe 11. He and Goku were evenly matched when they sparred, but then it was revealed that there was one stronger than Toppo. This person is named Jiren the Grey.
We go forward to Goku recruiting the universe 7 team. The members are Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Majin Buu, Krillin, Master Roshi, Tien, and Androids 17 and 18. This would have been the perfect team until Majin Buu fell asleep and would be entirely useless once again. Then, Goku has the idea to revive Emperor Frieza and have him be a member of the team. It takes a lot of convincing to recruit Frieza, but in the end he would take Buu’s spot.
Now we are in the tournament and the first universe to be erased would be universe 9. Others would be erased after, but then Goku decides to challenge Jiren with everything he has. In this fight he unlocks the power even Lord Beerus couldn’t achieve. That power is called Ultra Instinct. In this transformation, Goku is basically unbeatable, but it doesn’t last very long. This four minute long fight showed us the true powers of Goku. More universes would fall after this fight, but then there was one universe that was destroyed and probably caused some tears. That universe was the sixth. Their final warrior was Kefla, the potara fusion of the saiyan girls named Kale and Caulifla. Their fight with Goku was so strong that it made Goku unlock Ultra instinct once again.
After Universe 6’s erasure, Vegeta unlocked a new power called Super Saiyan Blue Evolution. This power was so strong, it was capable of defeating Toppo, who became a God of Destruction during the battle. This however left Vegeta drained and then defeated by Jiren. With everyone’s wishes in mind, Goku is able to master Ultra Instinct and send Jiren to his knees. Just when Goku was about to beat Jiren, the transformation destroyed his body and he was rendered useless. It was then up to Frieza and Android 17 however their powers were nothing to the powered up Jiren. Then in the final stretch, Goku and Frieza teamed up to beat Jiren, thus leading to Universe 7’s victory. The prize was the Super Dragon Balls, and the wish made was to revive all the universes that had been destroyed.
After all of that, let’s move on to the music in the anime. The soundtrack was honestly really good. The new opening was amazing and the endings were as well. The background music was also really good, especially the theme that plays for Ultra Instinct.
Next we have the animation, which was really outstanding. It reminded me of the old animation that was used in Dragon Ball Z, however we only really see this animation used in the middle of the tournament.
Finally, I give this part of the series a 10/10

Dragon Ball: Super
Welcome back my anime lovers. Today’s review will be about Dragon ball: Super. This will be a three part post starting with reviewing the first four arcs, then the tournament of power, and ending off with the Broly movie. Make sure to check them out over the course of the following weeks. Also, as always, if you haven’t seen this anime before, make sure to watch it because there will be spoilers.
To start off there will be a synopsis of the first four arcs. We start off with the god of destruction, Lord Beerus searching for the legendary super saiyan god. With the help of Shenron, and five other saiyans, the super saiyan god was born through Goku. There is a battle of gods following the transformation as this was the true goal for Lord Beerus. Goku however wasn’t strong enough to beat Beerus and this leads into the next arc.
Next we have the resurrection of emperor Frieza. After many years of being trapped in hell, he was very bitter and trained to be able kill Goku and destroy Earth. This training lead to a new transformation he called Golden Frieza. Goku and Vegeta however were not wasting time either. They too achieved a new transformation called super saiyan god super saiyan, but for the sake the long name, they called it super saiyan blue. In the end, Frieza was once again defeated and the Earth was at peace.
Not too long after, we are acquainted with Lord Beerus’s twin brother name Lord Champa. We are also given knowledge of the 12 universes, and that Champa is from universe six, and that the universe everyone resides in is universe 7. Beerus and Champa don’t get along well, and so the Universe 6 vs. 7 tournament was held. Each universe had 5 fighters. Universe 7’s fighters were Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Majin Buu (Falls asleep and doesn’t participate), and Monaka (Very Useless). The prize in this tournament would be the super dragon balls, which are planet sized dragon balls that can grant any wish if all seven are gathered. This tournament introduced new and powerful characters like Hit, and Cabba. In the end however, no one is a match for Goku, thus universe 7 won. This fight was so intriguing that it even caught the eye of the Lord of All, Zeno.
Finally, after the events of the tournament, a Supreme Kai from universe 11 decided to be different and hate humanity. This Kai was named Zamasu, and he had a strong hatred for humans. This arc takes place in the future, more specifically future Trunk’s timeline. In this future, Zamasu wiped out most of the population on earth, including future Bulma. Trunks just barely got to the present after being pursued by Goku Black, who is revealed to be Zamasu in Goku’s body. Trunks then brings Goku and Vegeta with him to the future. Goku Black then reveals a new transformation called super saiyan rose. Not too long after, Zamasu joins the fight and they fuse into merged Zamasu. Goku and Vegeta fuse as well using the potara earrings, and they form Vegito. This fusion did fail against merged Zamasu, however they did have one last trump card. They summoned Lord Zeno and he was able to erase the whole timeline which had been corrupted by Zamasu. This in turn was able restore peace on Earth once again.
Now after all of that, we have the music. The opening was ok, I wouldn’t call it amazing though. The background music was cool, especially in the fourth arc, where they would use dramatic tracks. The endings were really good I feel. Personally, I liked the third ending song, called Usubeni.
The animation in the first four arcs were not the best. However it does get way better in the next arc. The animation just seemed very lazy and could have been done way better.
I give this anime a rating of a 9.5/10.

Angel Beats
Welcome anime lovers to today’s review. If you couldn’t tell, today will be about Angel Beats (aka. The first anime to ever make me cry). But first, If you haven’t watched this anime, this review does contain spoilers, so make sure to watch it and have tissues ready. Anyway let’s get started with the sound track. The opening was absolutely amazing; the elegance and rock worked really well together. Also, the songs performed by Iwasawa/ Yui were very well done. You could really feel the heart and passion when listening to their tracks. My personal favorite from this anime was Crow Song. Let’s not forget the ending song that always had a different picture at the end of each episode. Honestly, the more this series progressed, the more emotional I would get seeing those characters come and go throughout the ending sequence. All in all, I give this soundtrack a 10/10.
Next, we have the story. This anime is about a man named Otonashi, who dies and finds himself in neither heaven nor hell. He is in a world that never changes, and where he never dies. He befriends people who are in the same situation as he is. Their one and only goal is to defeat a being name Angel. Angel is a very deadly girl with unmatchable powers. On top of having defeat this being of infinite power, Otonashi also has to be weary of being obliterated by God, or else he could potentially be reborn as a barnacle.
Every episode is different, meaning it’s not repetitive like most anime are. Otonashi, while accompanied by Hinata and Yuri, find themselves helping out others and end up helping them pass on to the next life, also known as getting obliterated (this could get emotional, just a warning). Overall, I feel the story was written outstandingly and I couldn’t be any happier with it. The comedic moments really put some joy in me, only to be heartbroken and sent on an emotional trip. Let’s just say that this anime really taught me how to feel.
Next we have the animation. The colors were bright and warm, and the designs were unique, though all the characters were wearing basic school uniforms. Something that really caught my eye in terms of animation were in the performances, specifically for when Iwasawa would perform. You could just feel the passion when she was on stage, and I feel that was captured perfectly through the animation. On that note, I feel the animation was outstanding.
Overall, I feel this anime deserves more recognition. My rate for it is a 10/10.
