Pre AFA SG 2017 Report - OMFG TOSSHI AND KAKKI ARE COMING TO #AFASG17

It’s that time of the year where Anime Festival Asia Singapore slowly reveals their lineup! Always appreciate AFA/Sozo for providing the platform to the Japanese anime media/industry!. 

Anyways, this afternoon, I was shaken by the news that Toyonaga Toshiyuki (Tosshi) and Kakihara Tetsuya (Kakki) are coming over to Anime Festival Asia Singapore this year as part of B-Project segment!! 

BLESS THE SEIYUU HEAVEN!! MY KOKORO AND WALLET IS SO READY FOR THIS!! I know that I will definitely get my hands on those Meet and Greet tickets so keep out for updates at this blog! Till then, ja ne!!

Anisong Fantasy Live in SG Vol 1 Report - Beyond Phenomenal Concert!

!!STATUS: STILL NOT OVER THIS CONCERT!!

It’s been two days since the concert ended and I’m still having post concert depression. So last Saturday, I attended Anisong Fantasy Live Vol 1 in Singapore which featured stunning lineup of GARNiDELiA, ELISA, Takigawa Alisa, Luna Haruna, Kalafina & Aimer. Since the lineup featured anisong artists, I’m quite familiar with all of them and their songs~ Also, I’ve been always a fan of Kalafina hence, it was like a dream came true when I saw them TT_TT

PRE ANISONG CONCERT REPORT

The whole morning of 18th March, I couldn’t focus on doing anything at all. At 4pm, I left the house and head down to the venue earlier to get some merchandise and meet up with my friends. These friends are actually Kalafina & Fictionjunction fans that I managed to contact over the net. Arrived at the venue, I went straight to the merchandise section and bought - Kalafina LIVE THE BEST 2015 “Red Day” & “Blue Day” Tote Bag & “Kalafina with Strings” Christmas Premium LIVE TOUR 2016 Plastic Folder. I wanted to get more items from the other artists but most of them are sold out ><

After that, I went ahead to meet up with my friends. Despite my first time meeting with everyone, we all managed to warm up with each other through our common interest of Kalafina. We also had a huge banner to write our messages. It was really a great sight to see that there are alot of Kalafina fans in Singapore! After everyone wrote their messages, we placed the banner at the gifts area and hoping that it will reach Kalafina safe and sound.

ANISONG CONCERT REPORT

At 6:50pm, I went to the hall to find my seat and honestly at that point of time, I couldn’t contain my excitement. I was seated at the extreme left of the front row A. I had an amazing view as there wasn’t any heads to block my view and a direct view on the singers! BLESS THE VIEW AND ALL THAT WAITING FOR CONCERT TICKET DURING AFA DAY 2!

In the opening, there was a special footage of ClariS concert performance. I’m guessing that they will be one of the guest for Anisong Fantasy Live Volume 2, who knows?

GARNiDELiA

The concert kicked off with GARNiDELiA as the opening act and they really geared up the audience! With MARiA’s powerful vocals and the band’s energetic performance, I was already in the trance! Able to see MARiA so close was an experience and she’s extremely pretty with her stage outfit. Gokuraku Jodo is my current favourite song from GARNiDELiA and the band delivered it really well. Props to MARiA for singing and dancing to Gokuraku Jodo!

The last time I watched ELISA live was back in 2013 during AFA Valrave Night concert and being able to hear her live again was amazing. Her live vocals were simply beautiful from her performance of ex: tella to REALISM, despite having technical issue with the sound at first. Also, her English interaction to the audience were adorable!

Beautiful voice + playing guitar = WIN! Alisa’s performance was simply beautiful as well. Alisa definitely have the next-door-girl and carefree vibe~ Hearing her songs live brings back the Nanatsu no Taizai feels!! NOW I DEMAND A PROPER THIRD SEASON PLS!!

Luna Haruna

When Luna Haruna appeared on stage, she brought a fun vibe alongside with her! She was totally adorable with her stage outfit! She had this very lovely and bubbly personality as seen during the interaction with audience. Though I wished that she sang her debut song, Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau from Fate/Zero ending. Also, she sang one of my favourite song, Startear and it was a stellar performance with strong vocals.

SPECIAL COLLABORATION STAGE 1 - Takigawa Alisa X ELISA X Luna Haruna X GARNiDELiA

Who knew that we could see such collaboration happened? The first collaboration featured Takigawa Alisa X ELISA and the second collaboration featured Luna Haruna x GARNiDELiA. I personally think that Alisa X ELISA voices doesn’t really suit each other for duet but nevertheless it was a good performance. Haruna x GARNiDELiA performance was really upbeat and their voices had good chemistry. The last song for the collaboration stage 1 featured Alisa X ELISA X Haruna X MARiA and overall it was an energetic all-girl performance!!

AIMER’S PERFORMANCE AND VOCALS WAS SO SURREAL!!! ISTG I NEARLY TEARED HEARING HER PERFORMANCE AND IT WAS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. Throughout her performance, she was only accompanied by a piano and I was definitely in awe ;A; This was my 2nd time hearing Aimer live and she sounded less nervous/shaky compared to her 1st live in SG during AFA2015. As always, her English was fluent and she mentioned about loving Singapore’s night scenery.

Aimer: I want my songs to inspire you in the future.

Overall, her performance was just pure eargasm!! I honestly don’t mind if she come to Singapore for her own concert and I know I will definitely attend!!

THIS IS THE PART WHERE I HAD MY EYES BURSTING WITH TEARS! When the music started playing, my heart was literally beating in excitement. I was holding Kalafina LIVE THE BEST 2015 “Blue Day” Towel in that hopes that the members will take notice of it. AND THEY DID! During the encore, Keiko was saying about how she saw some fans holding Kalafina concert towel and she felt grateful towards the fans!

For the 1st song - Magia, Kalafina wore beautiful kimono-like robe and they revealed their 2nd outfit during One Light. Hikaru and Wakana were mostly at my left side of the stage. I WAS FREAKING OUT THAT HIKARU MET MY EYES DURING THE ONE LIGHT PERFORMANCE, SAW MY KALAFINA TOWEL AND SMILED!!

Kalafina closed their segment by singing Sprinter and I WAS CRYING INSIDE BECAUSE OF KARA NO KYOUKAI FEELS! I sang my heart out, following to the lyrics of the song ;AAA; KALAFINA’s performance was truly mesmerizing and given the chance to watch it live was a dream come true!!

SPECIAL COLLABORATION STAGE 2 - Kalafina X Aimer

THIS COLLABORATION WAS SIMPLY BEYOND WORDS!! I can’t describe that feeling when Kalafina and Aimer were singing each other song. Seeing them both on the same stage was honestly remarkable. IT WAS EXTRA MAGICAL AND THAT MOMENT IS SO PRECIOUS!!! I honestly can’t describe how beautiful their vocals blended together ;A; Aimer started singing Believe’s first verse and when Kalafina started to harmonise, I had goosebumps!!

Their interaction with the audience was fun as well! As Aimer came for Singapore for 3 times and Kalafina only came for 2 times, Kalafina asked Aimer for any recommendation spots.

Kalafina: Do you have recommendation spots?

Aimer: Last time I came here (speaking in Japanese)

Keiko: /trying to translate Aimer’s speech through actions/ WWWW

Aimer: I went to Botanic Garden. It’s a flower garden and it was really wild.

Kalafina: Wah, we want to go!

After the interaction, Kalafina mentioned that since Aimer sang their song so its Kalafina’s turn to sing Aimer’s song. IT WAS ANOTHER MASTERPIECE :’)))

Kalafina x Aimer was honestly the perfect way to ended off Anisong Fantasy Live. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY FOR THIS CONCERT!!

POST ANISONG CONCERT REPORT

I was still feeling surreal after the concert ended. Some of the audience were waiting for group photo with the anisong artists and I didn’t, since my seat wasn’t picked during the lucky draw ;A; But Kalafina and Aimer weren’t part of the group photo so I don’t feel too sad about it. 

Anyways, this concert will forever etched in my memory. Also, VIP ticket holders were given an autographed printed poster and I shall treasure that. Below are my loots:

Emotional Week with SAO the Movie & Finale of Final Fantasy XV.

/prepare self for emotional throwback/

Since I have some time to spare before diving myself into more creative works, let me share the feels trip I had last week. 

Sword Art Online the Movie - Ordinal Scale- was finally released on the 23rd March 2017 in the theatres and I was able to watch it! I went for the first day screening and certainly wasn’t disappointed at all! 

While there are some disappointing moments in the series, especially in the 2nd season (due to the unnecessary harem and zero development on Kirito x Asuna otp), this movie totally made it up for me. 

No spoilers for those who haven’t watch but if you are on the Kirito x Asuna ship, you will love this movie like I did! The movie also had full-on action sequence which was pretty awesome!

Can I also praise Kajiura Yuki for her beautiful contribution to the SAO soundtrack? Yuna’s voice was also mesmerizing!

If you got the chance to watch this movie, please do and you really need to watch the anime first before jumping into this SAO movie!

Now, let’s jump to the topic of Final Fantasy XV! I’m sure everyone has been waiting for this game since it was announced back in 2006. It finally got released on my birthday date, 29 November 2016. I was delaying to get PS4 and told myself that I would buy one when the game got released. 

So on the 17 December 2016, I got my hands on the FFXV game and my ps4. The emotional ride for this game was overwhelming. I smiled and cried many times throughout the game. After much delaying not to finish the game, I took the courage and finished the game on the 24 February 2017. 

ISTG THE ENDING, GUYS, THE ENDING!! 

let me cry to sleep. AND OH I WATCHED KOE NO KATACHI TODAY AND I SHALL UPDATE THAT IN MY NEXT POST!!!

AFA SG 2016 Report - SEIYUU MEET & GREAT HEAVEN

Is this report finally happening? Oh yesss! School has been taking a toll on me and it’s been sucking out my creative juice so much. Well, it’s been 3 months since AFASG but I would never forget the day I met Okamoto Nobuhiko & Matsuoka Yoshitugu/Kanae Ito!!

Okamoto Nobuhiko Meet & Greet

OMFGGGG IT REALLY HAPPENED! I WENT OVER TO THE VENUE AS PER REQUESTED. GOSH THE QUEUE WAS FREAKING LONG BY THE TIME I GOT THERE. Tbh, I was taking my own sweet time and didn’t expect the queue, hence that queue number of 133/150 hahah.... 

When he finally appeared, literally the whole lot of us were screaming and cheering for him. He began by answering some of the questions that the audience asked and then it was the start of the autograph session. Sadly, we aren’t allowed to get our name written on the board TT_TT

I was honestly shaking, thinking about meeting and talking to him. Even as I write this post, I could still remember the interaction we had ;AA; When it was my turn, Nobu showed off his wonderful angel smile and signed the board. Amidst of that, I just went for it and talk to him in my “wonderful” Japanese. 

Me: I’ve always been a fan of you. Now and forever I will support you so keep fighting on! (ずっとあなたのファンでした。こ��からも応援しますので、頑張ってください！)

Okamoto: Uwah, I’m happy! Thank you. (うわ、嬉しい！ありがとう！)

Okamoto: Btw, which character I’ve voiced, do you like?

Me: /immediately/ ROLLING THUNDER, Nishinoya! 

Okamoto: AH AH! From Haikyuu! 

Me: And also, Obi from Shirayuki-hime! 

Okamoto: I see I see, thank you for the constant support! /hands over the autograph board/

I was over the moon by the time I exited the stage and kept thinking about his beautiful smile. Honestly he was like this cute furball of happiness and he worked hard to interact with each of us during the fan signing. 

Lastly we took a group shot together and I can only see a glimpse of myself in the photo :’) All in all, it was truly a memorable experience.

Matsuoka Yoshitsugu & Kanae Ito Meet & Greet

Due to the Nobu private event fanmeet, I had to miss Sword Art Online main stage event that featured Matsuoke Yoshitsugu and Kanae Ito. I sped walk my way through the crowd and reached at the venue for the SAO seiyuu meet and greet session. 

Well, that was my 2nd TIME to see Matsuoka-san but I was still nervous as ever. After a long line, finally it was my turn! /prepare for some incoming epic fail/

Me: Happy Birthday, Kanae-san!

Kanae: Uwa, I’m really happy for the wish! Thank you! /pass me the autograph board/

Me: /move infront of Matsuoka and look at him/ 

Matsuoka: /pass me some SAO flyers/

Me: Thank you. /take the flyers and walk away/ 

YES GUYS I TOTALLY WENT BLANK AND SPEECHLESS WHEN I SAW MATSUOKA!!!! /punch self/ I WANTED TO SAY SO MANY THINGS LIKE I MET YOU 2 YEARS AGO DURING AFASG14 AND LIKE HOW I LOVE YOUR VOICE ACTING AS SOUMA AND AND AND ... gosh such a fail.. I totally walked away feeling so pathetic haha...

Anyways, it was a great great experience and I was honestly lucky to get to meet few of my favourite voice actor. Below are the autograph board signed by them~! Treasuring these board forever!! 

So thank you AFASG for bringing them over to little tiny Singapore! I’m just hoping that Kaji Yuki or Natsuki Hanae or Ishikawa Kaito or or or many more will come over for a meet and greet session! YESS THROWING MONEY IN THE AIR HAHAHA :’)

AFA SG 2016 Report - Anisong Fantasy Concert Ticket & Exhibition Haul!

After a month plus since Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2016 ended, here I am writing my report on the event. I was caught up with my school assignments and book exhibition hence, I had to put this post on hold. Well, now I’m finally on my Winter Break so I thought this would be the best time to blog whatever I remember. 

Before the day of the AFASG16, I had prepared my schedule and route for the event but then my original plan was pushed back after I received a line message from KALAFINA STAFF. 

YES!! It’s finally happening :’) Kalafina will be coming to Singapore for Anisong Fantasy Live alongside with Aimer, Alisa Takigawa, ELISA, GARNiDELiA and Luna Haruna! The lineup news was released at the end of AFASG16 Day 1 concert and the sale of the VIP tickets started on the 26th Nov.

Due to this sudden yet joyful news, I had to change my plan to wake up extra early and get my hands on the tickets first in the morning.

YES IT’S D-DAY!!  Since I didn’t bought any early bird ticket for the event, I left my house earlier and reached the venue just before 9am. I totally forget about the fast pass entry for AFAWORLD members and thus, I was overjoyed when I saw the queue! Hella yes, make way for the anime trash!! (though it was super awkward queuing up by myself and surrounded by hard core fanboys ><)

(caution: long post ahead & my report on meeting seiyuu - noburin, matsuoka and dai-chan will be up in the next upcoming blog post!)

Thanks to the fast pass entry, I was able to enter the exhibition 15 mins earlier and that’s enough time for me to dash to get my concert ticket! I speed walked my way to the Anisong Fantasy booth and bless, there were about 10 people queueing in front of me. When it was my turn, I nervously approached the ticket counter and safely did the transaction~ Oh, I got the front row A seat AND I’M PRETTY SURE I WILL BE FANGIRLING ALL THE TIME DURING THE CONCERT!

After I got my concert ticket, I went ahead to the Sword Art Online Marketplace booth to experience the world of SAO. Since one need to purchase more than $50 to get the ticket for Meet & Greet session with Matsuoka Yoshitugu and Ito Kanae, I bought SAO artwork and man, its filled with glorious artworks.

Then, I went around exploring the exhibition to get merchandise like from the HoneyWorks booth, Shining Otome Store and many more. I wasn’t particularly looking for anything this year due to the fact I splurged most off my money for the Anisong concert. Despite saying that, I still managed to get few merchandises and below are my haul from the event~

To be honest, I actually spent most of my time at the main stage of AFASG16 which featured lots of seiyuu~~ I will talk more about the main stage and seiyuu in the next blog post. Here’s a sneak peek of my schedule for the main stage events~

Yes, I literally spend half of my day at AFASG16 and it was totally worth everything. Oh, just be prepare for fangirling moment report in my next post~!

Pre AFA SG 2016 Report

It’s that time of the year guys! OHHH YES AFA SINGAPORE IS BACK!

2016 has been a crazy ride so far and especially because I’ve started University back in September. Thanks to my crazy assignments that sucked out my creative juices all the time, I haven’t been diligently watching anime as I used to. Nevertheless I’m always pump up for Anime Festival Asia! (Fun fact: This would be my 6th year attending AFA)

Unlike last year, I won’t be attending any ANISONG concert. Well, looking at the concert lineup, I wasn’t particularly excited as I was last year, despite the fact that AIMER and HANIWA are coming over again. I was planning to go ANISONG concert day 1 which featured T.M Revolution but it was scheduled on a Friday which I would probably be knocked out from school during the concert itself. 

The concert aside, I’m pretty excited on meeting Okamoto Nobuhiko for his meet and greet session on the 26th! Oh bless such beautiful news :’) 

I totally flipped when I found out that he’s coming over and immediately (without any thoughts), bought the ticket as an AFAWORLD member! That’s how excited I was! I mean - this guy has been voicing great characters like Okumura Rin, Usui Takumi, Akabane Karma, Nishinoya Yuu and many many more! Now, I need to prepare my Japanese script before meeting him XD

Also, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu is coming over for Shokugeki no Soma and of course for Sword Art Online the Movie~ I also gotten my hands on the fast pass for The World of Sword Art Online booth! All I can do is to burst my wallet to meet Matsuoka and as well as Ito Kanae!~

Yamashita Daiki will be appearing in the main stage as well for Boku no Hero Academia! It seems like I’m going to spend most of my time at the main stage instead. Pretty excited for the main stage lineup! 

Well well now, I’m going to go through the map again and plan my route for tomorrow’s war! Hoping that my wallet won’t burst and broke into tears tomorrow. Till then, let’s pray for my wallet’s wellbeing.

Anime Haul - January 2016

Oh man, has it been a month since January passed by? Where did the time go? I thought I will share the anime items I’ve bought during January. I think its a good remembrance for my future self as well. 

One of the best purchase I’ve gotten is ツバサ-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- drama cd series that was released back in 2005. TRC is literally my whole anime existence. It’s beyond precious to even explain about. Though it was a pre-owned but for the price I’ve gotten it for, I couldn’t be more happier about it! It’s definitely going to my TRC Shrine and now, if only I can get my hands on the soundtrack cds ;AAA;

Also in January, BANPRESTO released an Ichiban Kuji of CODE GEASS CODE BLACK 1st Live Encore! Another one of my favorite series, I just couldn’t let the opportunity pass when I saw Lelouch’s signboard (Prize G) was up for sale. The art was honestly gorgeous ;;;; 

While we are on the topic of kuji, I bought the rubber strap of Rin and Archer (Prize J) from Fate/stay night Ichiban Kuji. They’re definitely one of my favourite couples out there. Plus, Rin is my waifu and Archer is my husbando SO WHY NOT RIGHT?

I also picked up spoon2Di magazine that featured High☆Speed!: Free! Starting Days & Noragami Aragoto at Kinokuniya SG early Jan. I just couldn’t pass up when I saw how cute Yukine was on the cover. Tbh, I’m still learning kanji so all I can do now is to admire the whole magazine. 

Well, that’s all for my January haul. I honestly shouldn’t be buying magazine because I just couldn’t read them. So please me, stop buying them! Ah, such an anime trash issue.

AFA SG 2015 Day 1 Report – I LOVE ANISONG “REBOOT” concert

Reached at the main stage for the concert around 5pm ish and went straight to find my seat. In 2013, I went for the Valvrave Night AFA concert and got the P seat but for this concert, I managed to get the middle N seat - the view wasn’t bad at all! Of course, bless for my platform shoes!! 

Before the concert starts at 6pm, there were two opening acts by Usagi & AkatsukiRin who was awarded the Grand Prix prize for Asia Anisong-Singer Audition(AAA). Their performance was really good!

After their performances ended, the staff was setting up instruments and yes, BACK-ON was the first artist for the night! They totally rockin the stage with their music and honestly, when Chain was played - THE AMOUNT OF FEELS FOR AIR GEAR IS TOO MUCH TO HANDLE! 

Next, we have the ever hype ZAQ! With her songs known to be fast paced, the audiences were literally jumping in sync following to the beat of her songs. I totally had legs cramps only at artist #2 for the night >< I really enjoyed her Inside Identity due to CHU2KOI OH YESSSS! 

But all that jumping was definitely the beginning as bless4 was next and OMG IT WAS AWESOME TO THE POINT THAT AKASHI LOST HIS VOICE XD When they sang Sousei no Aquarion for their closing act, I was holding back my tears. I watched Aquarion ages ago and hearing live was like relieving back memories.

After that, it was my goddess AIMER - the reason why I attended the concert. Her face wasn’t shown on the big screen at all and you could only see her silhouette. With the lights illuminating her back instead, she was literally like an angel. When she started to sing her first song, there was a technical difficulty and you could really hear her sounding nervous. BUT WHEN SHE SANG OMG HER VOICE WAS LEGIT AND IT WAS EARGAS. I started to tear (abit) during Last Stardust & Brave Shine ;AAAAA;

With all the emo feels in the concert hall, HoneyWorks - Sana & Gom came up next with their lively and youthful songs! They totally lighten up the atmosphere~ Plus, it was Gom’s birthday and the audiences sang Happy Birthday song to him. When CHiCO sang Ai no Scenario, my heart went doki doki thinking of Kaito <3 For HoneyWorks’s last song, they sang Kinyoubi no Ohayou and everyone was definitely in sync during the chants! 

When we all thought that their act was over, the trailer for HoneyWorks’s movie {  Zutto mae kara suki deshita -Kokuhaku Jikko Iinkai- } was shown to us! I’ve actually seen it over and over the night before but seeing it again makes me all kyuuu for it. (because of kamiyan & kaji’s voices)

Overall, the 4.5 hours concert WAS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I wouldn’t trade anything for that night. I’m still having my post concert withdrawal even after a week plus flew by. I’m hoping that KALAFINA will come by for AFA SG 2016 /prays/

AFA SG 2015 Day 1 Report – Exhibition & Main Stage

date of event: 27th November 2015

Finally, it’s the D-DAY! Since I’ve gotten my tickets online, I knew it didn’t have to camp outside and come earlier. I constantly kept myself updated with the tweets online regarding #AFASG15 and let me tell you that the queue in the morning wasn’t a joke! Good thing I bought the tickets online. That aside, I had a huge breakfast of mee instant and prayed that it will last long till the end of the day. Since Aimer’s autograph session started at 2pm, I left the house around 12pm giving me a bit more time to hang around. Reached the venue, you know you’re in the right place when you see lots and lots of cosplayers!

I went straight away to the I Love Anisong ticket redemption counter and received my entrance gold wristband. I had some time to spare before the session so I walked around to buy some time. While walking, I saw that MUSE booth doesn’t have that much people in the line so I hopped on it. Nothing caught my eyes (well I lied – so many hot pillows that I want ;A;) except for the Nagi no Asukara mug for $24 which had Manaka and Hii-kun art on it. I was deciding if I should get it but in the end, I didn’t and now, slowly regretting it.

After my MUSE booth journey of not getting anything, I decided to make my way to the autograph booth since the staff requested us to come 30 mins before the session starts. When I arrived, I saw that the staff had already started giving out the Aimer autographed poster to the winners. I immediately went to the staff and gave my tickets to them. They passed me the Aimer poster and I was already over the moon~

As it was almost 2pm, I decided to make my way for the main stage to see the I Love Anisong Friday artistes appearances at 2:15pm. At 2pm, it was a performance segment that featured a group called themselves Real Akiba Boyz (RAB). Let me honest, I didn’t know who they are until I began to realise that they’re the dance group that covered anime songs on YouTube! Well, that afro hair guy gave it away.

They performed anisongs like Death Parade Opening, Gekkan Shoujo Opening, Kekkai Sensen Ending and obviously they ended off with Shingeki no Kyojin Opening. Their performance felt like a concert - audiences stood up and jumped to the beat! I guess I was lucky to see their segment since I had no intention of seeing them but hey, I’m so glad that I did! It made me all hype more for the concert in that evening.

At 2:15pm, Danny Choo finally presented the artistes for the Friday’s concert! BACK-ON, ZAQ, bless4 and HoneyWorks/CHiCO made their appearance. As expected, Aimer didn’t made any appearance at all.  Each artist take turns to introduce themselves. I was surprised on how fluent BACK-ON’s Teeda’s English was. I was kind of surprised when ZAQ made her appearance with long hair and then realised that she wore a wig for her famous short hair bob look. As for bless4, there were only three of them as the youngest – AIKI is currently doing voluntary work back in America. With their American English, it was really easy for them to communicate with the audiences. Finally, HoneyWorks made an appearance along with CHiCO and a guest singer, sana!

The event ended well and I left the main hall even though the cosplay event was coming up next. I made my way back to the exhibition hall and started my shopping journey. After walking around, I hopped into the Mighty Media booth and got myself Tohsaka Rin’s glasses cloth. Well, I couldn’t resist my waifu, you see.

Beside the Mighty Media was ODEX booth and the queue was really long. When I said that the queue was long, I wasn’t joking! It was three loop queue circling the booth!! I honestly was contemplating if I should queue for it but I knew they sold Tokyo Ravens merchandise. For the sake of Harutora, I suffered and queue for more than an hour. I’m not joking about this! I made sure that I purchase of lot of stuff in the booth so that my effort will not be wasted. Got myself some KimiUso, Kyoukai no Kanata, FSN items.

When done, I circle around other exhibitions booth and the creator booths but didn’t get myself anything else. Honestly, all I could think about at that point of time was the concert!! Around 5pm ish, I went to the main stage for the concert and save up my energy for the main event of the night!

Pre AFA SG 2015 Report

Months before Anime Festival Asia (AFA) Singapore 2015 – I’ve been on the lookout for Facebook updates and artistes lineup for the anisong concert. Honestly, I kept my hopes high for KALAFINA (since I didn’t attend AFA 2011 SG Concert), though I knew it will be impossible since they were having their ~Far on the Water~ tour. When AFA/SOZO released the full lineup, I wasn’t as excited as I thought I would be – well I knew the artistes but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest my money on any of the concert days.

Well, that mindset changed when Aimer is added to AFASG15’S I Love Anisong lineup on Friday, 27th November together with BACK-ON, bless4, HoneyWorks/CHiCO with HoneyWorks. I was already obsessed with Aimer’s Last Stardust and Brave Shine and I knew I couldn’t passed up that opportunity. I’ve also listen to some of the days by the Friday artistes so I wasn’t foreign with their names and songs.

So I did! I bought ticket for myself; with myself (><) Since I’m a VIP ticket holder, I had the opportunity to get an autograph poster by one artist. Without any hesitation, I chose Aimer and bless enough, I got her poster though it will be given by the staff.  

On the night before, I decided to plan my schedule for the faithful day. Since, the concert will open its doors at 5pm and I have to make full use of my time before its start. I was really excited and I slept really late – so much for saving energy for the concert.
