Though a confident woman in every sense of the word, Chojiro could not help but to notice a certain hesitance withing Xaoli to be seen with the First’s fukutaichou in public. Not because she didn’t deem him worth, but because she thought she was not worthy of such an esteemed man’s presence. 

   However, the were barely noticed in the crowd, and even as the music picked up tempo, Chojiro graciously offered her his hand, a small grin curving the corners of his mouth.

                     TO LAY WITH HER IS TO LAY WITH A BEAST. there is nothing within her body which is soft – bones made of GOLD, blood laced with STEEL, skin made up of flecks of IRON she’s sure. she is a creature of dust & dirt & sharp edges which CUT at the lightest of touches. but her lips, her hair – he, of all people, should know now how soft they can be. how they taste like tea embittered with SMOKE & SUGAR. to lay with her is to accept a morning of aches & pains & b r u i s e s.

                                         though he doesn’t sound put out in the slightest. 

                         oh no, there is a LILT to his statement, mumbled from behind her. the beast rolls her shoulders, gently moving back to fit more nicely into the curve he offers with his arms. although she is hungry, he is not the only one who’s SORE — proven by the subtle WINCE she gives when her legs are stretched out beneath the sheets, but it is quickly replaced by a smoky chuckle. WALKING would be out of the question for now, she’s sure – but more than her own soreness, her grin spreads all the wider at the image of bruises and loving welts that were surely smattered along his back. words are PURRED gently with a nuzzle at the side of his face ——— “   I’m glad…   ”
