also on another note today I drove my grandma to a plant nursery and we bought some soil and plants and planters because she wanted to start a garden on our balcony. we worked together to pour the soil in the planters and I transferred the herbs and tomato plants into their new homes and I got so much mud and dirt under my nails while the sun was shining down on our balcony and just. man. digging your hands into soft soil really heals something in you. go touch some good dirt if you can.

its so unfortunate when different peoples neurodivergent traits clash horribly. like yes i totally understand that the man at the other table cant control his stimming and loud vocal tics and i think he deserves to have a nice day out at a restaraunt without judgement. however if i dont remove myself from the audible vicinity in the next 20 seconds i will explode.

When I was younger and researching the autism diagnosis criteria and symptoms, I thought “oh I couldn’t POSSIBLY be autistic.” Because when I read “takes everything literally” I thought it literally meant EVERYTHING and I was like “I don’t take EVERYTHING literally, just most things!” And I just realized the other day that it didn’t actually mean EVERYTHING and that was an overstatement.
