overall rating: 10/10!!!!!!!

wasn’t sure to give it a rating of 9 or 10 but to hell with it! I SAY 10, THIS ANIME IS THE PURE DEFINITION OF WHOLESOME AND UwU

BABIES. BABIES. BABIES. that’s it, that’s my point

my boi ryuuichi, VERY LIKEABLE PROTAGONIST. family oriented, caring, kind, selfless, is not even picky or dramatic or anything!!!!!

he’s even good looking??? totally get it why his classmates like him and is popular even among girls. HE’S A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

the babies in this anime is very cute. like unbelievably, adorably, snuggly kind of cute. the one where your heart just melts 

YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR THEM OK. kotarou, taka, takuma, kazuma, kirin, and midori!!!! :’(((

 so many cute moments and scenes too

dun worry the other characters in this series are also v likeable

and in case you haven’t noticed, the art is really nice!

ANYWAY JUST GIVE IT A TRY IF YOU WANT SOME FLUFF IN YOUR LIFE. YOU DEFINITELY NEED THIS.

overall rating: 7.5/10

not a bad anime to watch! if you’re open minded and don’t mind watching some uncomfortable situations this anime might just be worth it for you :) 

i think it’s v important for the person to watch and process the first episode and ponder whether to move to the next episode or give up this anime immediately (expect much more than that to happen for the next episodes)

i just think that this might be the type of anime that not everyone are open to watching... 

but i surprisingly like it! got lots of lessons that teenagers can learn

in other words: v informative if you’re around 15 and up? dunno, depends on your emotional maturity so i don’t exactly make the rules on what age should watch it. (however we must all know that there are limitations to everything ok) 

its about coming to terms with your sexuality, urges, feelings you first get during puberty being confused and all, relationships and the like!

also can i just special mention amagi as the best boyfriend ever????? THAT’S MY TYPE RIGHT THERE, my future man better take notes- i kid, i kid ehehehe (but no seriously, if he reading this- maybe not- iykyk) 

i think it’s funny, this has its own charm and not everyone can get it but that’s okay!

i still do think some parts are disturbing but i must agree on the people that proceeded through watching this: it doesn’t sugarcoat, shows the reality of romance that is happening in our society whether we like it or not

probably the reason why i like it too.. cause it sticks with reality. and i think that’s also important 

so anyone who watches this should take it with a grain of salt

but don’t worry there are some pretty cute UwU worthy scenes that leave you “awwwww” for the oldies out there, it will remind you of the time when we were all damn naive about the whole thing

DID I MENTION THAT THIS ANIME CALLED ME SINGLE SO MANY TIMES DURING EPISODE 10 UP TO 12??????

also the ending was hella cute too

amagi and sonezaki the unproblematic and wholesome couple we LOVE AND STAN

cannot stress enough how badly i wanted to comfort momoko and cheer her on as the series went on!!!! I KINDA SENSED SOMETHING AND MY GAYDAR WASN’T WRONG aaaa must protect my bb <3

respect for yamagishi, my man knows his boundaries. was super respectful to hitoha (despite her actions..) which i appreciate

CLAIMED SONEZAKI AS MY CHILD THE MOMENT SHE FIRST SPOKE IN THE SERIES, and i’m so proud of her and her character development!!

..and yes.. MY SON-IN-LAW AMAGI, MY BOI DIDN’T DISAPPOINT ME EVER IN THIS SERIES 100000000/10

mary and the witch’s flower

overall rating: 8.5/10

really liked the animation! 

gives the same feeling you get when watching a studio ghibli movie

some moments really made me reminisce about those times when i was a kid; i was completely immersed into their world too

PLOT is goooooood, liked how they gradually established the details of mary’s life and her relationship with grandmama charlotte and peter

originally was supposed to be 8 but i liked the ending so plus .5

doesn’t feel rushed, all seems natural 

colors are beautiful!!

plus there are cats, i’m UwU

+ definitely can relate with mary and her insecurities about herself AND her hair- totally get it cause i screw up most of the time and we both practically have the same hair except she has red and mine is brown (TдT)

a silent voice

also known as koe no katachi overall rating: 8/10

tackles all different kinds of topics that i think are relevant in today’s society so it’s a must watch for me 

seriously, the themes shown in this movie is really deep and i personally think that it doesn’t sugarcoat anything especially when it comes to growing up and being fucked up (from the people around you and yourself) 

saw myself in this movie and felt what the other character’s felt- characters are all flawed yet it’s also hard not to sympathize with them because you know exactly why they are like that (both the protagonists in this story and “antagonists”) 

the part where shoya finally opens his heart to the world towards the near end had me really emotional

you get attached to the characters easily and find yourself rooting for them; i think every one of us sees ourselves in these characters

i will repeat it again: MUST WATCH. you’ll know what i’m talking about

wolf children

ehem *spoilers*

romaji is ookami kodomo no ame to yuki overall rating: maybe a 6/10 or 7/10

didn’t really know how to feel with how hana became interested with wolf papa at first?? since it’s a bit vague on why she’s adamant on getting to know him better

but i reaaaaally loved the compilation of scenes where hana and wolf papa are just getting started with their married life, reminds me of the movie “up” :’)))) the vibes!!!

also really sad about how wolf papa died a tragic death and hana only gets to see his body without being able to do anything :-( 

really admired hana’s perseverance on raising yuki and ame, the woman’s got patience, hard work and determination! 

kinda liked the animation? 

but i definitely appreciate the moral of the story in this movie, it’s an 8/10: lessons have their own rating now ahaha

i think people should try watching it at least once in their life, just to realize and internalize the lesson this movie brings.

hotarubi no mori e is also one way to call it overall rating: 7/10

for some reason i cannot put the title above the pic and i didn’t want to erase this post and make another one so i guess i’m stuck with this ack

one of the bittersweet anime [movies] that I will ever know. (ಥ﹏ಥ) 

would deffo ‎recommend if you want some fluff yet also want to cry by the time the movie ‎ends!

ngl the beginning was kinda awkward between hotaru and gin but i’m guessing that was part of the magic as to why it’s so good at the end??

i was getting kinda attached to gin after that at the same time hotaru was anyway

i’m also reliving the journey with her which i really liked that aspect of the movie

when hotaru began to grow older and was slowly catching up to what looks like gin’s age (physically); i was starting to get FEEEELINGS (dunno if i should be sad or happy at that point) 

my bb gin is a big UwU :-(((((((((( i feel bad for him and what he has to go through!!! my boi deserves better and my boi deserves physical contact!!!

that bittersweet kiss he gave to hotaru :-((((

WHEN I TOLD YOU THAT I GASPED WHEN HE STARTED TO DISAPPEAR AND I STARTED PANICKING COS HE’S ABOUT TO GO AWAY  

and then became sad because he smiled while looking at his disappearing body while quickly saying to hotaru, “come here hotaru! it’s ok we can finally hug now!” I FUCKING CRIED AT THAT POINT AND WAS CHEERING FOR THEM TO GO GET THAT HUG THEY DESERVE

it was so wholesome i cannot :-((((((((((( and then i started to bawl my eyes out when he really disappeared and his mask.. his mask :-((((

didn’t help when all the yokais were actually rooting for him and hotaru and was happy for him when he finally got that skinship sigh

i’m basically telling the whole ending now i’m sorry to those who read all the way through and wasn’t able to watch it yet, i told you there were spoilers ack 

anyway please watch this at least once in your life?!? if you want something to watch and wanted to cry at the end, i know i said this before but it must be said again

what hotaru said after the incident, which i feel like i need to mention cause my heart tore apart even more when she said this:

“ I probably won’t be able to look forward to summer for a long time. My chest will hurt. My tears will be overflowing. But this warmth in my hands and these summer memories will live on in my heart. "  — Takegawa, Hotaru

and i meant it when i was starting to get attached to gin the same time as hotaru’s. it’s because of the way the story was told that this quote is also exactly what i felt after watching the movie :( 

don’t think i’d be able to forget this.
