Composition
Making compositions with a certain word or emotion in mind certainly had its restrictions, but the trick I found to be helpful was to picture yourself in a mental space in reagard to the word.
This excercise gave a better understanding in composing different elements to make a meaning out of it rather than just coming up with random ideas.

Life as we know it.
From rolling around all the time, laughing, being nothing but ourselves, without being held back by any prejudices, to taking shapes of different things to 'fit in' in the teen, we have been through a rollercoaster of emotions. Still do. Somewhere along the way we stumble upon some balance that we keep losing but keeps us going.
Team : Anjana, Abhishek, Athulya, Ruchit.
My part in the making of the video was to develop the visuals. Made with After Effects.

Tapioca chips. With chili powder.
Near Kakkanad busstand, you'll find a chetan selling tapioca chips on a cart with just the right amount of crunchiness. Sometimes you'll find one chip entirely covered in chilly powder, and that for me, is an adventure to munch on it.

Seetha Devi's special fruit salad for 60 rupees.
If you ask me what's so special about this salad, I wouldn't know because I have literally never had fruit salad from anywhere else. I love it, I look forward to have it and I would hate it if they decide to change the composition of the salad ;) (getit getit?)

The one meal that makes me want to come back home every now and then whenever I am away, is Sadhya. A good sadhya would always be my favourite food. As much as I love it, sadhya makes me tense up. I feel anxious as to what to eat when, and with what. It's a whole thing and I still haven't devised a method to ration my rice to enjoy with every curry. It's no rocket science but sadhya has this way of making me feel as if I'm carrying out a super complicated mission while eating. 🥴
Take a close look at the picture and listen to the music. Do you feel what I feel?

Gestalt principles
Once you realise that absolutely everything you find around you has a design, it changes your whole perspective of how you see the world - every aspect of it.
Gestalt principles is something that made me look at my surroundings with a craving to find each principle. Everytime I come across one, it makes me feel a little more closer to the surrounding I'm in.
For me, these principles are a key to understand and build a better relationship with the place we are in.
Now, whatever random place/thing is not just random. They have a meaning.

Colour interaction.
Lighting
Natural light by the window
Natural light + light through red curtain
Tube light
Outdoor

What colour we see depends on a lot of factors and all of us don't see it exactly the same.
This excercise is an attempt in the depiction that how.we perceive colour is very subjective.
As seen, the colour of the t-shirts keep changing when under different lighting, showing that the way colour interacts with its environment plays an important role in how we see it.
