It surprised him the first time she pulled out lunches for the both of them, even more when she offered a small bottle of hot vinegar sauce (Carol's homemade recipe and Gob's specialty) that is especially beloved by ghouls for adding a powerful flavor they can actually taste. some small moments between the two

alacrity is actually really good at card games, like scary good. she and charon played as a team while he was still working for ahzrukhal to milk all the caps they could from local caravaners and merchants. the stipulation was the house took half the pot but it was still good caps and despite not admitting it, charon looked forward to it every week.

spent so much time stripping old upholstery and paint off an old old old chair I had, to then just discover that a) half the wood is rotten along the base and b) the other half is essentially wood filler from the last person that had redone it

Here’s the original image from Princess Mononoke. After tomorrow, I’d like to maybe re-do it completely adding my own art style into it a little.

Catherine is my lone wanderer, and her companion is a cougar, which is where she’d get the fur for that cloak. This is because her name was originally Fiona and she was a Fionna and Cake reference, but the lore has developed a lot since then. And so has my understanding of American geography. Washington and Washington DC are on completely different sides of the country and cougars live in Washington, not Washington DC. Washington DC has bobcats (rather, Maryland does and that surrounds DC). So I might make a few tweaks.

Anyway, Cathy started out as your regular run of the mill very good karma lone wanderer, and then I decided she should live action role play warrior cats, and wields a samurai sword, and now she might be a cannibal who only eats bad people. Charon has to put up with her so apologies to him in advance. I guess it could be worse.
