I am not mad but well...

My dad is celebrating his birthday and family friends came over. One said: "You look really lady like!".

Well... I dress up pretty masculine, since I am Bigender. I always dressed up like this.

I don't know, it just felt weird being called lady like because my biological body is female?

Something that I find really interesting about this is that in the original book is an illustration that has a similar vibe to this statue (at least in my opinion).

I always thought that A) It could be that the OG book had a similar thought in mind or B) It was a clever new interpretation of the og illustration while also putting some beautiful and gorgeous meaning into a certain scene with the help of an amazing art piece.

I'm positive this has been talked about before. But I always thought it was interesting how the Lady of Mercy statue was referenced from Our Lady of Piety created by Michaelangelo. A representation of Saint Mary after taking Jesus down from the cross.

I already know Pinnochio has a lot of biblical and artistic undertones. But I really like how the game devs has brought many catholic symbolism that isn't overwhelming to the game. You kind of have to have a keen eye to spot it. In this case I wonder if they meant to have P symbolise Jesus, Sophia as Mary. But that's for an even longer discussion.

Art history is something I've always had a fascination with and I love finding references to famous artists, not just in games but in movies as well. Something that gives this game more meaning than what's on the surface is something I love looking for.

Just something I like to think about.❤️

I am still kinda thinking about Fire Emblem AU for LoP and... Well for those who don't know Fire Emblem...

Some of their games have support talks (Where Characters can bond because the fought along each other) and their S supports mostly end up in a Romance/Marriage.

So... I am not a big Xenoblade fan but... There is this one interaction from that Game that I thought would suit P's S Support talk.

You: I... I can't hide it any longer.... I... I love you

P: .... I love you too.

You: For real!?

I wonder what my fellow mutuals biggest inspiration is when it comes to writing and drawing and just creating things.

I can talk about mine but... It will probably shock you.

My biggest inspiration is death. Yep, death. It was one of my biggest fears a child and teenager. The unknown that not even science could explain. But thanks to certain legends and tales... Things changed. With 'Thanatos' as my favorite god I see in the topic good and bad.

Which is why so often I fall in love with designs like this:

Gore Magala and Vaal Hazak (Monster Hunter)

Skull Knight (Berserk) and Old Man of the Mountain (FGO)

Thanatos (Hades) and Shadowkeeper (Final Fantasy XIV)

The nameless puppet put all his strength together, one last time. His weapon raised, his body moving towards and striking down. Geppetto tried to jump between his 'son' and 'creation', but he wasn't quickly enough. But someone else was. The sound of metal hitting flesh and blood echoed through the room. A cough shortly followed.

Between the Nameless Puppet and the puppet man was [Name], impaled by it's scissors shaped blade. "I... Know you didn't want to kill him... You just wanted... It to stop... But not like this Car-..." They dropped to their knees, quickly caught by P. Geppetto could only stare as the Nameless Puppet dropped to the ground while P held his injured lover. The man wanted to yell, to finish it himself, but what happened before his face stopped him.

"I am sorry... I... I was so scared. I had to do it", [Name] whispered while the blood filled their lungs. They could feel their lovers hand cupping their cheek, so gentle and warm. Has he always been like this? "Please... Be careful. Don't... Let anyone decide what you should do... With your life", tears started to drop down their cheeks. "Please. Just life my love... And you...", they pulled all their strength together to turn their head around, "Do the right thing... Don't mess up again... For Carlo... For him... Don't let new chance be a waste. Be a good father for him".

As they turned their head around, the felt another wetness on their face, but it was not from their tears. They looked at the puppetman's face to meet with tears filled eyes. He cried. He cried for the first time and it was for them.

With one last smile and the gentle touch of their hands they pulled him down for a kiss and spoke: "I... Wish... Your first cry would have been out of happiness and joy. I am... Sorry... That it came like this... Please don't cry anymore... Please... Forgive me... Have... A good life... I love... You"
