Week 15 progress report: Episode 4-6 are available to listen!

I have finally finished editing and posting the final few podcast episodes. It took me longer than I expected to edit these last few since all these creators give such amazing conversations. They bring even other thoughts or ideas that I never came to my mind at all. It was so great being able to create this series and be able to talk about a topic that is really evolved over time with the digital age.

With having all the episodes out, this series will come to an end. However, it does bring me to an opportunity to think about making this type of series through a different platform an personal accounts that I use for myself.

Week 14 progress report: Episodes 1-3 are going to be out!

Sorry for the really late posts about my podcast episode. The first episode has been posted and I have 2 more on the way in the midst of editing and will be posted on different days. The next 3 episodes will be released within the upcoming days too. It was quite a blast recording with these creators and they also had their fun too.

The only problem I had was one of the creators I had created had a technical difficulty with their microphone. I had to edit that episode a lot which is episode 3. Although it did came out fine, it took a bit for me to actually make sure that the audio itself was not too loud or too soft when listening. Other than that the other recordings for the podcasts went smoothly.

Week 13 progress report

So about posting the podcasts was a lie which is my fault at best. I am sorry for not posting the podcast during the supposed times I said I was. These weeks became very busy and I also wasn't home for four days because I was at the anime convention Kawaii Kon 2024 this year! This convention this year was quite a fun experience as I attended a lot of concerts and did very terrible at the smash tournament. However, I did get all the recordings done so all that needs to be done is editing.

I will try to keep everyone posted when the episodes do come out. I am still busy at the moment juggling 5 other classes with the capstone, so I should be fine once I get them sorted out quickly as possible. I am glad that I was able to interview these creators as they have some great experiences and thoughts about the topic and also opened my mind in a way so have fun listening when it is out!

Week 11 progress report!

Hello everyone!

For what is going on with the project, it is going quite well I believe. I have gotten 4 podcasts done so far. I am still editing them so it will be a bit for me to get on with them. I will probably be posting them next week or the week after that. I still have 2 more pod casts to do and hoping to get them recorded in the incoming weeks.

It was quite an amazing experience being able to talk with these creators as I have only known them through the internet and it really shows how times has changed with the introduction of the digital age.

The only problems I faced so far was recording and scheduling. Since I was using discord to talk with these creators, I had to change my audio settings to record both the creator and I on Audition. It took me a few days before the first episode was recorded to get the recording of the sound right. I used a program called Voicemeeter Banana and it was great. It took awhile but now I can also use this to my advantage while streaming! Since I separated communication audio like discord, I can record gameplay without the voices. Although there times where I would want the voices since there are moments while I am gaming that we say something funny, but moving back to the topic.

For the other problem, everyone of course has their lives to live so I there has only been 3 instances where I had to push a interview to a later date. Everything else though went smoothly. So I hope scheduling with these other 2 well be as smooth as these ones too.

Week 8 progress report!

Hello everyone!

I can say that this project is going smoothly-ish. The past two weeks I was setting up two sites to use for my podcasts. The two sites I will be using is pod bean and Spotify. I will put links at the end, but not the Spotify since it would show up unavailable because of the lack of anything on it. I will post it on future updates once I get the episodes up.

The next two weeks from now will be recording the podcasts! I will try make it a weekly episode Podcast with a length of 10-30 minutes. The main reason of keeping it short is because this is not a really known topic. It will still go over the main points of the topic, but it will not go too deep as even the interviewees themselves will exploring the topic within the podcast.

There not many problems at the moment, just scheduling time to record the podcast is the only problem. There is not much of anything I can share except the link to my podcast. Week 6 Progress report!

So what was happening for these past weeks while I disappeared into the void? The content creators I have asked to join me for the podcast have all said yes! With this I have completed some other things I need for this project. I have made my interview questions and made some logos for the project.

I ultimately chose the last one since I liked the transparent parts of the logo as it makes it more ominous. So how I came up with this was trying to combine A and C which of course are the first letters to anonymity and community. You can see from the hat creates a A and the whole body is the C, and if you look closely to the collar there is also a A that is sideways and a something that kind of looks like a C.

Currently don't have anything to deliver, since I am going to schedule these recordings of the podcasts with these content creators for next incoming weeks until the end of the production phase. I am pretty good on my timeline as we are still in preproduction and I am going to start production as soon as possible.

W3 Progress report!!!

Hello everyone, it is currently the 3rd week of the semester! SO what was happening? I was editing the blog a little bit to make it more appealing. The introduction has been posted about what my capstone is about. Currently, I am setting up and asking anonymous content creators to participate in the podcast. Although I realize that going out of my and asking them really bringing me out of my comfort zone because I am not much of a social person even though I love games with multiplayer. I also want to ask if I could use discord and we talk with out models, although some of the creators I will ask don't have a moving model so they will have an image to represent them. It was also quite an eventful past few weeks since I am taking 6 classes so balancing them was quite interesting. I hope in the incoming weeks I will be already recording and uploading a episode for the podcast. The amount will vary depending on the approval or rejection of my requesting the creators for their time. I am also taking inspirations from previous capstones that were like this. With this, let us see what the future has to offer and what I can do to make this podcast series great. See you later!
