Idk who needs to hear this, but if Sebastian Stan IS, in fact, growing out his hair for Thunderbolts, it’s gonna be for the whole damn movie. Not just a flashback. Wigs exist for scenes that small.

Oh hey it’s me and @writerkenna
Looking for a Sam and Bucky fic- it’s Mpreg but not ABO. They have three babies together and it’s multi chapter and multstories in the same collection. A little girl named Mila-
I searched for it in your Sam/Bucky tag but couldn’t find it.
Thank you for always saving us lol
Hi Anon!
I've had a look on ao3 and found this fanart (rated Gen) of the fic, and it's linked.
No I wouldn't be able to put a long fic without the appropriate tags onto the blog without someone reading it all to check the content. It's for 'No Archive Warnings Apply' so anything marked 'creator chose not to use Archive Warnings' is tricky!
You got the link now though!

For those saying that 1.) Bucky isn’t in CA4 because they didn’t announce him, and 2.) it doesn’t make sense for Bucky to join up with the villains (“villains”, they’ve all been redeemed except for Val), hear me out: Cap 4 comes out 3 months before Thunderbolts. Perfectly possible for Bucky to make an appearance in Cap 4 to set up whatever the impetus is for joining the Thunderbolts. Besides, Bucky hasn’t exactly shown us that he’s above the ends justifying the means.
Idk just my theory.

I had a crazy few weeks so I don’t have any new art to contribute to the one year anniversary of @writerkenna’s Wilson-Barnes family series… so bumping this instead. 🫠
New art coming soon-ish though!
For @writerkenna - thank you for your stories babe 💖
Snapshots from Sam’s “bump album,” featuring:
Weeks 10, 27, 38 & Mila: “The video has a runtime of two minutes and twenty seconds, is set to Be My Baby by The Ronettes, starts on a picture of a less than pleased Bucky at ten weeks with virtually no bump and ends on a single frantic image of Bucky right before they left for the clinic that fades into the very first picture Sam has of him holding Mila, and, without fail, has Sam crying at some point during its run. . . ‘God, I didn’t want to take a picture during week twenty-seven, huh?’ Bucky comments with a smirk.” - Bringing Her Up (Chapter 6)
Week 20: “. . . after dinner, well-filled glasses of wine for Sam and Sarah, a game of UNO, and the required twenty week bump photos for the (newly retitled) photo album.” - we’ve always been impossible (Chapter 1)

Inspired by "This Time Around" by @writerkenna - I’ve been wanting to draw this sweet scene since I first read it. ... It’s just taken me a minute. 🙈 Lots of fun textures and colors to play around with on this one!
"Sam puts on It’s A Wonderful Life after dinner and no one fights him on it. Nearly no one keeps their attention on it for the whole time, either, though; . . . Mila and Bucky have each settled on one of Sam’s sides, dozing shamelessly. . .
"Sam glances away from the screen to catch Sarah’s eyes on him, her smile pushing up into her cheeks. He rolls his eyes but smiles right back, despite himself.
"'Can I take a picture?' Sarah whispers. Sam’s inclined to say yes, but then he feels the weight of Bucky’s stomach heavy against his own and the small stirrings in it, and doubt crawls in.
"He should barely allow himself the baby bump album he has, considering the risk of his current assignments, and he keeps that twice as encrypted than it was for when Bucky was carrying Mila, with layers of password protection and folders upon folders to hide the photos in. Even then, it’s still a variable that Sam waffles the worth of most days.
"'On my phone,' Sam mumbles back, doing the careful work of getting it out of his pocket without upsetting any part of the scene he’s in. He tosses it over to Sarah once he’s gotten the photo vault app he uses open and pulls Bucky and Mila both a little snugger. Sarah just manages a shot or two before the movement rustles Bucky awake..." (Chapter 9)

My headcanon is straight out of a sitcom. Bucky goes all stealth white wolf when his daughter starts dating. They’re out to dinner, he’s sitting in a shadowy corner giving her date the “I’m Watching You” signal a la Meet The Parents. Movie theater? This dork is in the back row creepin. Bowling alley? Hiding behind the shoe counter. Staying mostly out of sight but whenever that wannabe suitor looks up, he’ll be there. Staring.

I’m writing sad stuff, people send in happy sambucky!dads or sambucky!uncles headcanons (or cat dads or Sarah and Sam and Sarah and Bucky friendship, give me that Wilson family love)

Last one! I know I took some creative license with the story on this one. As written, of course Sam would be the one taking the photo - but I really wanted to include Sam in this series and give them a lovely little family moment.
Mila was so fun to draw! I love her little fuzzy whispy newborn hair. She’s asleep because I’m still a little scared of drawing kids… maybe next family portrait, eh @writerkenna?
This is also my favorite metal arm in the group. (Seriously, that thing is a bitch to draw - and yet I can’t resist.) Some other favorite details of mine are the glow to Sam’s skin, the waffle knit on the white blanket, and the subtle texturing on Bucky’s hospital gown.
I had a blast exercising my art muscle with this project. I was so inspired by the thought of Sam’s sweet little keepsake that I just had to try to bring it to life. I’m not ruling out the possibility of continuing to draw this family! I do need to try to get comfortable drawing kiddos… 🤔 To be continued…? 😉
Thanks for taking this journey with me! -H

Fourth in the series, last in the order that I drew them. I did this one last because I was intimidated by the facial expression, but in the end it’s my favorite face of the set. I finally figured out how to effectively contour the planes of his face with shading instead of outlines. Also my favorite teeth in the set. Brownie points to anyone who can ID the reference photo.
This one actually took me ages because I could NOT get the proportions of the arms right and find a happy medium between T-Rex and silverback gorilla. Got there eventually, obviously. (I think.) To help get the proportions right I made an amalgamation of reference photos from various sources overlaid on top of each other: some HD captures from FATWS, some cheesy stock photos of people in poses that featured the limb positions I wanted, etc. It looked ridiculous but it got the job done.
This is the drawing where I learned how hard it is to warp text to folds of fabric. I’m pretty happy with the result, though.
Another note about Bucky’s hair: there’s a lovely, tender moment in we’ve always been impossible - in the section about week 32 - where Sam tucks a piece of hair behind Bucky’s ear. I interpreted this as Bucky’s hair getting a little longer. Would his hair necessarily grow as much in 11 weeks as I have it illustrated here? I have no idea, but let’s assume that the combo of super soldier regenerative powers and prenatal vitamins gave the boy some luscious hair, shall we? 💇🏻‍♂️
Behind Bucky in the hallway is a triptych of mountain scapes featuring solo flying birds. Completely pulled out of my ass and then perspective-blurred into oblivion. Shout out to the random Zillow listings that helped me get the angles right on a hallway shot through a doorframe.
Last but not least, Rhodey’s birthday on the calendar is according to Gamerant.com, so y’know… take that for what you will. 🤷‍♀️ Sam strikes me as the kind of dude who would want to remember a friend’s birthday, even if only to razz him about being old.
Week 38: “Bucky appears in the doorway of the living room wearing a gray maternity shirt with the phrase ‘BABY ON BOARD’ printed in the middle of it, baggy sweatpants, and one of the more frantic expressions Sam has ever seen on him.” - we’ve always been impossible by @writerkenna, “Weeks 32-38”
“[The video] ends on a single frantic image of Bucky right before they left for the clinic” - Bringing Her Up by @writerkenna, “Day Thirty”

Here is my second drawing (third in the series). I’m still on more of a “cartoon” style here, for want of a better term: thicker outlines, less with the realism. I was really excited to try an “action” shot here to give a little more life to the set, and not just draw Bucky standing there with a scowl. Also my first try at teeth - I think I did OK? 🥴 It’s so hard to draw teeth where they don’t look like Chiclets! I really like Bucky’s right hand in this one, for some inexplicable reason.
It was important to me to work in the detail that, in @writerkenna’s story, Sam cuts Bucky’s hair at week 26. Hence the departure from the man bun Bucky sports in the illustration for week 20.
This was my first real attempt at creating an environment for the character to exist in. More complex than Week 10, much less complex than my next attempt for Week 20. I chose a kitchen because, well, it’s a relatively easy room to draw and there are lots of opportunities to use fun textures. In my head, Sam’s one-bedroom apartment has a boring all-white kitchen with trendy subway tile.
Week 27: “‘Would you get your computer? We should watch that dumb little video you made, cause Mila’s a month old now.’ Sam nods and allows the reroute of their conversation, indulging the mutual effort not to burst their new baby bubble. He nudges a tired and heavy Bucky off him so he can fetch it and pull up what he considers to be his magnum opus of video editing. . . ‘God, I didn’t want to take a picture during week twenty-seven, huh?’ Bucky comments with a smirk, adding, a little while later, ‘Oof, looking pretty rough at week thirty-five. Cut that one,’ and, every few seconds, ‘This is the dumbest fucking thing you’ve ever done.’” - Bringing Her Up by @writerkenna, “Day Thirty”
