Doc Ouslama attests that their primary residence is their glorious Spire-Emporium of the Bazaar, but they truly spend most of their home time in a small but handsome townhouse off of Ladybones. They usually live alone, but every so often, their husband (September) will come into the city for Railway Meetings and Calendar Meetings, and they stay together for a night or two.
Caradoc O'Dell bought the Suite at the Royal Beth fair and square, and he will live there with his spouses no matter the indignation of the Manager nor the Masters for his having beaten both at a card game. And also no matter the shrieking. They've come to ignore it nowadays.
Emilie prefers to spend her nights on her ship. Having her crew around her reminds her of the old days with the Urchin gangs. If she must use a mailing address, she uses the respectable townhouse bordering Veilgarden and Spite, which several of her old comrades keep clean for her in return for a night's rest there if need be.

Where does your character live? What are their lodgings like? Do they have more than one home? Do they share their home with other people, or do they live alone? Do they like their home?

Doc Ouslama, as my long-lived main account, has maxed every stat except for Steward (no interest) and Cthonosophy (havent done most recent firmament yet). They are particularly proud of their Mithridacy and Zeefaring, because flattery and a good ship will get them anywhere, in their experience.
Caradoc is particularly Watchful, due to his tendency to hole up in the Laboratory and experiment on things for long periods of time. He's relatively Dangerous, but thinks themself far less so, and is really, really bad at the Shapeling Arts, no matter how they try.
Emilie is mostly contained to the highway stats, but, befitting her job as a Silverer, is rightfully proud of her Glasswork abilities. Of the highways, she is particularly good with Shadowy, and can pick a lock silently in a full suit of plate armor if needs must.

Is your character known for any particular stats or skills? What are they good at? What are they bad at? Do they have an accurate read on their own skills, or do they think they're better/worse than they are?

Doc Ouslama had several children (all now adults) before coming to the Neath, none of whom have yet followed them down. They consider them fondly and would happily welcome any of them in London, but given the rarity of post, consider it likely that their children think them long since destroyed by the horrors of the Neath.
Caradoc refuses to talk about his parents or any siblings he might have had. If you get them particularly intoxicated, however, they might grudgingly mention a disgraceful affair between an English landowner in Ireland and the milkmaid. Here in the Neath, he considers his spouses to be his family, and the three of them have been discussing the possibility of children, gained traditionally or via adoption, for some time.
Emilie grew up amidst one of the less well-known urchin gangs of Fallen London. Though she has left and made her fortunes elsewhere (mainly due to becoming 'one a' tha longshankses'), she still has the accent. She considers the rough and rowdy crew to be her family, and they are all free to spend a night or two in her home if they need to.

What is your character's family like? Do they get along well with their family, or are things more strained? How frequently do they interact? Do they have a found family? Do they have no family at all? Have they picked up any specific traits from their family?

Doc Ouslama is a Crooked-Cross, and has been for some time. Since Fallen London itself is spectacularly quiet on what that means they actually do, they basically work as an independent religious counselor who specializes in helping Neathy newcomers determine how they would like to practice whatever faith they have (or if they would like to try out something new). That includes making up new faiths if necessary, which is their favorite part of the job.
Caradoc is a Correspondent, which he takes great joy in. He mostly takes contract work and does research for Benthic College. Though their recent stay at Winking Isle and their obsession with Seeking have led to the breach of some contracted jobs, he's not in danger of not remembering how to use the Correspondence anytime soon.
Emilie is a Silverer. She mostly uses this as a way of making money; her truest joys are thievery and the zee, and she would be a full-time pirate captain if there weren't people who need her in Parabola.

What does your character do for a living? Do they enjoy it? Are they good at it? Is it working out well for them, or not going so great?

ok that post i reblogged earlier has me thinking so here it is:
AN INCOMPLETE LIST OF THE FUNNIEST ITEMS TO GIVE YOUR AGENTS
A song about revolution
The worry that you, yourself (not the agent) are spiders
A human-sized spiraling shell
Wearable barrel
A cloak that stabs people
Fireworks
Salt that makes you shut up
A scar that you got a while ago
Lace Code (Victorian Style)
Tigers that hold office
Weasel that causes harm to everyone around it
Four separate months
The fact that everyone knows what you look like because you built an absurd number of statues to yourself
Multiple sets of teeth, one of which can move around on its own
A Very Significant Number of Apes
And, my particular favorite: your own severed head

Fallen London has added a feature where you can hire this Luckless Captain guy as an Agent to run a ship for you, loan him some of the equipment you're not using, and then let him do tasks for you in the background. It's neat! Naturally there's a lot of funny applications of getting to play dress-up with this NPC and the various wild things FL counts as "equipment" -- one of which is... a nightmare of Poor Edward??? if you married him then you can LOAN THIS GUY YOUR NIGHTMARE HUSBAND??????????? THIS IS MY FAVOURITE ONE, I couldn't stop thinking about it

Another worldbuilding application of the "two layer rule": To create a culture while avoiding The Planet Of Hats (the thing where a people only have one thing going for them, like "everyone wears a silly hat"): You only need two hats.
Try picking two random flat culture ideas and combine them, see how they interact. Let's say taking the Proud Warrior Race - people who are all about glory in battle and feats of strength, whose songs and ballads are about heroes in battle and whose education consists of combat and military tactics. Throw in another element: Living in diaspora. Suddenly you've got a whole more interesting dynamic going on - how did a people like this end up cast out of their old native land? How do they feel about it? How do they make a living now - as guards, mercenaries? How do their non-combatants live? Were they always warrior people, or did they become fighters out of necessity to fend for themselves in the lands of strangers? How do the peoples of these lands regard them?
Like I'm not shitting, it's literally that easy. You can avoid writing an one-dimensional culture just by adding another equally flat element, and the third dimension appears on its own just like that. And while one of the features can be location/climate, you can also combine two of those with each other.
Let's take a pretty standard Fantasy Race Biome: The forest people. Their job is the forest. They live there, hunt there, forage there, they have an obnoxious amount of sayings that somehow refer to trees, woods, or forests. Very high chance of being elves. And then a second common stock Fantasy Biome People: The Grim Cold North. Everything is bleak and grim up there. People are hardy and harsh, "frostbite because the climate hates you" and "being stabbed because your neighbour hates you" are the most common causes of death. People are either completely humourless or have a horrifyingly dark, morbid sense of humour. They might find it funny that you genuinely can't tell which one.
Now combine them: Grim Cold Bleak Forest People. The summer lasts about 15 minutes and these people know every single type of berry, mushroom and herb that's edible in any fathomable way. You're not sure if they're joking about occasionally resorting to eating tree bark to survive the long dark winter. Not a warrior people, but very skilled in disappearing into the forest and picking off would-be invaders one by one. Once they fuck off into the woods you won't find them unless they want to be found.
You know, Finland.
