Nothing like starting a load of laundry in your front load washer only to hear something clunking around for the whole wash cycle. Just playing the guessing game as to what it can be knowing full well I can’t pause the cycle and check/pull it out.

Growing up my sister had this baby blanket she never stopped being obsessed with. She called it her Effie because it had all these elephants on it with a little circus scene. She has carried it all through her life and it has been so well loved that I can’t even remember the last time the image on the blanket was visible. It is now like 4 shreds of fabric that are barely held together but she can’t get rid of it. Somehow, I was able to find the same blanket, even though my mom swears she got the fabric at Joann’s back in the 90s and sewed it. Now when she has her first born they can have their very own Effie. 🥹🥹

Does anyone else avoid letting people into your home/space? For myself, it’s not out of shame more like my space is too sacred and personal to have just anybody here. One of my coworkers lives in the same building and she always wants to get rowdy and she’ll have me over and other coworkers who have joined have asked to come up to my place and I just avoid it like the plague. No gracias.
