to me, it sounds like Tyrone's current voice actor is going through puberty. Regardless, these country remakes suck ass.

Yeah the reboot isn't all that great. The CGI looks weird, the movements feel off, the music is the same, the designs aren't good, I'm not trying to be mean to a bunch of kids but the voice acting doesn't really feel right, and the exclusion of Tasha and Austin for me personally a mix between "who come you're excluding them while at the same time singing songs they sang" to "well atleast they dodged an awful bullet there unlike unlucky Pablo Tyrone and Uniqua". The only thing i can actually give the reboot credit for is that they have a Playhouse which is a common thing for backyards these days and could set up some fun possibilities for new adventures if the reboot was done right. But other then that I can't give this reboot anything else other then being a disrespect of something amazing. Let's just be thankful that according to sources they're only attempting to remake songs from the original series and not make anything new with these guys. I don't think any of us can stand an 11 minute or 20 minute episode with them.

god, if they tried rebooting the whole show, that'd be even worse. To me, these song remakes feel like they're disrespecting Janice following her death and they're trying to cash in on a dead person's creation. It happened to Spongebob, and it's now sadly happening to Backyardigans. Nickelodeon needs to stop being greedy.

You're right! People need to let the dead rest and respect creator's wishes. Look what happened to spongebob. If they wanted to reboot the show, they should've done more episodes with the same original look and get rid of the ai generated cocomelon look if the network cared so much about older shows. They could have added a new character too. I would have loved to see an autistic character. If I was in charge, I'd add new songs with different genres that weren't in the show before, we'd get to see the inside of the houses or even have an episode where it's raining, and the kids play inside. It still has a lot of potential. Why not go for it in that direction?

EXACTLY. I'd rather they rebooted the show with the original art style instead of turning them into the shit we see in kids shows today and completely erasing Tasha and Austin. I'm angry over this direction, especially when all the songs they've remade sound like absolute ass.

I didn't realize the music in this show slapped! Rewatching as an adult made me realize how it shaped me as an adult. I wish there were more shows like this for kids these days.

I wish they didn't go and reboot the songs months after the creator passed. They're attempting to appeal to this generation and it pisses me off.
