Lol in the german subtitles, Rosie's "I know you're an ace in the hole" line was changed to "I know you're asexual" ok nothing was lost in translation but the subtlety

#Alastor: Wie bitte???#The dialogue in the dub is rarely the same as the subtitles and I'm having trouble understanding it as I don't know many german idioms

also rewatching hh, which I first watched right before my last d+d campaign started, I realize how much of an influence charlie was on my character's personality. Gosh darn it my memory is so bad, I thought I'd come up with something original for once

#like that happy day in hell song is so her. So naiive shes probably doing it on purpose #whatever she got engaged at the end of the campaign and that's all a parent can hope for so I'm happy #everyone's like youre too good for him also we're worried he's a murderer please dont do this :(#and she's like nooo he's a good guy (but she knows and doesn't care. she isn't actually a good person she's just pretty)#shes not really that much like charlie honestly the resemblance is superficial. like my character's morals

rewatching hh but this time all in german because when I watched it in english I got a little too comfortable swearing

#its not just the show I also have a group of friends in college that kinda suck #but I realized at an internship this summer that it is actually a big deal if you can't stop swearing in professional settings.#luckily I took german in hs and never use it so it doesn't matter if I screw up my vocab lol #the german voice acting is really good imo I love the songs :D #I do think I might be missing a lot of innuendos tho. Assuming they didn't just not translate them
