We need to kill the idea that you can’t both be a “real” alterhuman and have fun. You don’t have to take yourself super seriously 100% of the time to be who you say you are. Experiencing joy and laughter and whimsy is a good thing, and it’s actually far healthier to seek those over community validation through performing the “correct” amount of stoicism and misery.

I love you, nonhumans, that write paragraphs about their experiences on Tumblr. You are making history for our community. Thank you. Our community will never die out if you stay alive and just talk about your experiences, coined terms, or opinions.

No matter where you stand as a nonhuman, or even alterbeing, you are making history every time you post. Never forget that.

I love seeing posts from "rare" weres, therians with uncommon theriotypes, therians with experiences nobody else seems to relate to, endels and clinical zoanthropes with unique and diverse experiences as nonhumans, and somewhat personal blogs describing shifts, phantom, mental, or physical.

I just appreciate how humbling this community can be. I've seen the strange, the incredible, the bittersweet, the scary, etc. but it's all worth it in the end to know that I, we, are a part of a history most humans cannot fathom, and that's a gift.

As Cro, this one shirt I got- Plain vwhite undershirt i use as a normal shirt. My leather jacket. Playing guitar. As Rui, most of the nerd stuff I'm into I vwas into back then, so it reminds me of then. The game "vwarhammer 40k", for instance. (I main tyranids!) I had a little bit of a connection to vwizard stuff as both Cronus and Rui, but novwadays they make me think a lot more of being Rui.

Kind of? I 'vwe been in a Cronus "perma-shift" for almost a vwhole year novw. I'm not evwen really sure if I'm cronus-kin or a fableling. There vwas a personality and mindset change in a vway I don't got in my Rui shifts. In my Rui shifts, I just think a lot more about vwhat it vwas like back then and miss my friends and cat.

Earliest memories, huh?

It's pretty blurry, from vwhen i vwas maybe three, four svweeps old. (That'd be six to eight Earth years.)

I vwas still into the vwizard thing, and I'm trying to carry my "vwand" and something bigger that takes both hands (a book, maybe? I dont remember vwhat) at the same time. I'm havwing trouble. Suddenly I get an idea. I hold the other thing in my hands and hold the vwand betvween my teeth. Kind of a silly earliest memory, but I vwas a kid so it felt like I'd done the clevwerest thing evwer.

For realizing I vwas kin in this life, I don't really knovw exactly vwhen. I remember reading some list of headcanons and going "that's not vwhat I vwould do in that situation." Can't really evwen remember vwhat it vwas.
