Less well-known than its Kennington namesake, the Bethnal Green Oval served as a parking area for the businesses around. It was originally laid out around 1836 with 36 cottages and a Congregational Chapel, Shalom Chapel. A former furniture factory here is now Oval Space, an arts venue and club - while on the other side of the Oval is another club venue, the Pickle Factory.

hi! I hate to ask as I know it's a tough time for everyone at the moment, but I am in an unexpected tight spot. My rent got hiked while I am waiting on my first paycheck from a new job & past-due owed payment from a previous one, and I'm going to be a bit short on rent for September.
