He froze for a moment. A date? Val would kill him. Or Jamie. Or them both. He looked over to him, a smile creeping up on his face.

"I'd love to.. But.."

The smile stopped halfway.

"I don't want ya to get hurt."

He stood up, the other's tail falling to the couch. He could feel tears filling up in his eyes. Don't cry. Don't you dare fucking cry. You weren't raised that way. He ran a hand through his hair.

"Everyone who gets close to me gets hurt. I don't want that for you."

His smile faded and the tears began to fall.

Angel slumped down at the bar, half wanting to drink away his work day and half wanting to chat with Husk. The silence of the bar slowly faded as the sound of a lovely violin filled the dusty air of th hotel. It was nice, Angel thought to himself. Jamie had only been in the hotel for a short time but he'd found himself drawn to the kind soul; his sweet voice like music that could drown out all the bad in Angel's day with a simple conversation.

He quickly drowned himself in liquor. He didn't want to think about anything; happy or sad. He just wanted to drink away the night.

The beautiful violin echoed throughout the hotel, it's melody calm and sweet. It's music accompanied Angel as he picked up his glass from the bar and walked across the lobby to sit down on the couch. He was a mess. And he knew that.

It had only been a month since Jamie had been in Hell. Many had been interested in how he had gotten there. He looked too pure to be in Hell. His image was mostly human, though he had horns on his head and a long prehensile tail that slowly moved behind him at the moment.

Normally his tail was curled around him as a form of emotional support; but with the violin in his hands as he stood in the lobby of the hotel? He was in his element. He felt at home.

But how did a new arrival with no money get a violin in Hell?

He had been at the hotel for two weeks, and had heard a resident mentioned his Overlord, someone named Valentino.

Already he had a crush on Angel Dust. He secretly listened to everything he said; so he knew the dangers of joining a contract with Val. But he had a crush. He wanted to make Angel Dust happy. To give him someone to love and be loved by in return.

In the hopes of getting closer, he made a deal with Val.

But he had a month before he had to be in the studio for his debut. It gave Val time to find the perfect demon to take his infernal virginity.

Slowly, the sounds of the violin filled the halls of the hotel as Jamie's tail continued to sway.
