DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "Now, I'd like to know your name."

The other Mayli is a little flabbergasted that they forgot to exchange names. "WOW, I completely forgot introductions, huh? My name's Joy's History! What's yours?"

DESCRIPTION:

Nomiani muses, "Guess I want a lot of different things." 

The other Mayli finds this answer suitable, even relatable. "Easily distracted, I totally get it! Very weird way to say it, though! Why not just try saying what sounds shiny to you now?"

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani seems puzzled, but offers, "Might be…what I want?" The other Mayli also seems puzzled by the suggestion. "Well that's sure a funny way of saying it! What you want is changing every minute or two? Now it's power again?"

DESCRIPTION: Confused, Nomiani asks, "Huh? What have I been saying?"

The other Mayli tries to translate it, but sounds unsure: "Well, uhh…kinda looks like…discover-power-knowledge-safety-knowledge-knowledge-knowledge-friendiscover. Like I said…doesn't make sense!" They punctuate with one tentacle as they speak.

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani asks, "What do you mean, what's up with my markings?" The other Mayli replies, "Well, you've been kinda mumbling in fawords the entire time we've been here. You know, colorwave language, like this? But it's just been a jumbled mess and makes no sense. Just now you kinda tried to say two fawords at once!" As they speak, they demonstrate fawords, as spots of pale greenish-blue flash on their face in an unknown pattern.

DESCRIPTION: Time seems to stop for a moment and Nomiani flashes quickly between two different options before the world resumes. When it does, they say, "Because electricity can create light?"

The other Mayli seems completely unaware of the concept. They flip around, and say, "Would never've guessed that! Wow, you're so weird! Like, what's up with your markings now?"

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "You mean…electricity?" The other Mayli seems a little more vague on the concept. "What, like what flazzats do? Or lightning? Wait…how would you KNOW that?" they finish off, surprised.

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani asks, "Weird machines?" The other Mayli replies, "Yeah, their city has this…kinda moving circle that creates light, even at night! Never seen it myself, but isn't that wild? What would they even need that for?" They gesticulate while talking, but their description seems to be akin to a waterwheel.

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "Some weavewire."

The other Mayli muses, "Weavewire? Sounds like something the Nibo would have…for their nests or weird machines!" They also continue to snack on mussels while talking.

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "Just anything, really."

The other Mayli says, "Smart! I love finding weird things." They swim back over to the rock and start helping themself to some mussels. "Anything you REALLY want to get your tentacles on?" Nomiani also swims over to inspect the mussels.

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "I'm collecting certain things." The other Mayli swims over and hands off the shiny stone, and it's added to their inventory. "Just for yourself, not the library? Neat! What sorts of things? Shiny, round, just whatever?" The other Mayli still seems interested in their interests.

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani asks, "Can you grab it, please?" The other Mayli reaches one tentacle in carefully to the spiked coral. "Aaaand…got it!" They hold it up triumphantly, and it continues to sparkle. "Can't use the slippery tentacle! What'd you want this for?"

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani asks, "What's that sparkling thing?" The scene shows a dark crevice in the coral, where a smooth, sparkling blue stone lays. "Sparkling thing? Oh…" The other Mayli’s eye appears at an opening to the crevice, and spies the stone. "Looks like a very pretty blue stone! Good eye!"

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani finally replies, "Let's go north for mussels."

The other Mayli seems completely content with this. "Mussels it is!" They then swim northward.

Nomiani follows, and they are in a new part of the ocean, with a rocky grove covering some spiky coral. Something seems to sparkle in the coral. There are also many mussels clinging to the rock, which the other Mayli swims up to. "Aw yeah, some fat looking ones right here! Wanna go first?"

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani says, "Sure, sounds good!"

The other green Mayli happily waves to them. "Yeah, off we go!” And with that, they jump into the sea.

Nomiani soon joins them in the shallows they were at previously. The green Mayli swims around them. "What do you like? Probably good raybeam fishes to the south…or there's plenty of mussels to the north!"
