I can’t get over how fucking terrifying Anti is now

2016-2017 Anti was one thing, he was intense and insane and exciting, but I was never truly frightened of him.

But THIS anti? Long silences, menacing stares and a stillness which is completely out of character, for both him and Jack. He so quietly confident, it’s unnerving.

All his furious energy is gone, replaced by smugness and satisfaction because he knows he’s got us right where he wants us. He’s not angry, he’s pleased. Because he knows he’s already won.

We saw Anti:

1. WITHOUT glitches.

2. WITHOUT his knife.

3. WITHOUT a slit throat.

And here’s why I think he appeared this way.

To prove that he can be threatening and scary without all of those effects. To prove just how SERIOUS he is.

He saw how we didn’t take him all that seriously, even when he was waving a KNIFE around, he saw the memes like, “Glitch Bitch”, “I Am A Turtle”, HE SAW EVERY LAST BIT OF IT.

So, he changed his appearance.

He wants us to be SCARED of him, to send chills down our spines at the mere thought of him, he wants us to cower in fear whenever he appears, not to giggle and make fun of everything he does and says. Otherwise, how can he be happy if he sees that we’re happy to see him? He doesn’t want us happy whenever he’s around. That does nothing for him other than to make him angrier.

Now, he KNOWS we’re more scared of this version of him, and he’s thrilled. He’s over the moon because we’re finally scared of him and taking him seriously for once. Because he has our attention. No more glitches, no more knives, no more slit throats….none of that is necessary if he sees that a simple smirk and stare is enough to TERRIFY us to our very core.
