Failure of Oyo and Osun States to meet their demands, lecturers of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), on Monday began indefinite strike action to press for their three-months salary arrears owed by the two states.

INEC Declares Yahaya Bello Winner of Governorship Election
In spite of the election marred by violence in Kogi State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello winner of the 2019 governorship election in Kogi state.
Bello scored a total of 406,222 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the PDP, Engr Musa Wada who polled a total of 189,704 votes.
