i keep getting intrusive thoughts about joining the rq community cuz I have trauma from abuse and neglect and was gaslighted into thinking my parents were incredible I'm scared I'll turn into a 'transharmed' mf what should I do???

well im not a therapist so i cant exactly. help. but i would consider finding ways to pull yourself out of that hole and notice your parents were dickheads and getting help for that. i would also consider taking yourself away from anything related to or that reminds you of prats. yes that includes anti shit. you know yourself that you arnt and you dont want to be "transharmed" so that one step atleast.

i did kinda say id probably come back in the summer didnt i.. i should probably do something about that.

my plans really were to get on some archive shit in the form of PSAs, mainly on pro c shit and some other more relevant shit, which is only really stopped by me being a lazy pos. and fixing up the discord server to kinda diverge away from anti radqueer shit, which is put on halt rn by the fact there is 100% a prat in there thats buddy buddy with someone certain and i cant really say my thoughts on that for fear ill get cancelled or some bullshit. and like aswell i wanted to start getting the ask box flowing again, istg some of you put stuff in there that makes me go "why didnt you just. make your own post man". but like i said before its hard to carry that shit on ur own. one-ish mods isnt really good for popping out shit like we were before.

aswell ive got my own bs going on, a handful of you know that ive been questioning plurality for the past while and ive been taking the brunt of the realisation recently which has definitely put a stop on any plans i had for this blog. aswell as other dumb personal shit and being old and blablabla. whatever. im also just not the kinda guy to go into prat tags anymore. so most of my shits second hand info. which also hinders my knowledge and ability to post abt shit in long posts. maybe being a little more laid back and a little less lazy with posting would help. im not the kinda guy to be serious abt this shit anymore, surprise surprise, so maybe something like what ive got going on now would work but i gotta put effort in for that. maybe i should look into getting more mods but like. i dont really trust anyone enough with it, yaknoe?

anyway i yap enough like this, maybe if i put the effort in i could yap about stuff that would be ontopic. oh well.

i have to say i feel the same. posting about and having to look at shit that makes you physically sick to think about for this long does horrible shit to your brain absolutely, its incredibly hard to keep this kinda stuff up long term, id know all about it.

the tags were really carried by a few blogs, guy being one of them of course, now that a shit load of them are gone the tags are kinda just filled with vaguely relevant posts with the odd coining post or "guys block this person!!!!1!1!!!" and it isnt even a radqueer kinda posts... and that kinda just makes it feel worse.

i could honestly be a little bit to blame for the drastic decline in posting... not so much the change in climate, but then again im just one (lol) old man, i cant carry an entire tag on my back as much as it would stroke my ego. maybe one day ill gain the energy to post lengthy stuff again and reinspire another wave of blogs. if miracles happen.

if you do disappear at some point, wanna say now that i enjoyed yer blog alot, feel like it was important to the space.

perhaps it's just me but the mods on antiradqueer are all on break (iirc), astriodent is a radqueer (all the power to them), antiradqueerguy is on an indefinite hiatus, my views on the radqueer community have definitely also shifted (although im still anti radqueer), a ton of popular anti radqueer blogs are deactivated or inactive...

dont get me wrong, i do still enjoy running this blog, but asks have been low anyways. i dont really want to, but it might be time to depart with this blog honestly. im still deliberating but i didnt want my disappearance to possibly be out of the blue if one day i say goodbye

not quite, heres a post on the term that was made a year ago. it doesnt go into heavy detail, however, but it does cover some distressing things.

while radqueer does support and surround things like kandiqueer and other blankqueer terms, they are not synonyms.

also i advise against censoring words with numbers and symbols, it breaks with screen readers and also stops those words from being filtered, say if someone had "radqueer" as a filtered word then "r@dqu33r" will not be filtered and will still show up. tagging things correctly and putting trigger warnings is a better approach.

It's spelled as "Kandiqu33r", I accidentally misspelled the name in my DNI list but it's basically a fancy name for r@dqu33r. They're the same thing, but Kandiqueer I'd a fancier and newer name.
