Writing or drawing sexual material of a real child and posting it online is CSEM. It’s not just limited to photos, videos, or deepfakes.

This isn't about proshippers, but I think within the anti proshipper community we should talk about the fact that another category of ships that fall into the proship category are those where character A has tried to kill or harm character B.

I say this because I was in the fandom (Wild Kratts) and several antis were unaware that villain characters like Zach and Gourmand tried to harm or kill Chris Kratt and then proceeded to ship Chris with those characters, romanticizing those relationships.

people with disabilities and are mentally ill are treated as dangerous, evil, collateral damage or useless. People with different racial backgrounds are stereotyped, drawn insensitivily and often are treated as 'barbaric' or the token best friends. Gay and trans people are treated like predators for being themselves and wanting to be able to have rights, they are treated as the punchline, "just a man pretending to be a woman", or they are killed off in order to serve the protagonist's goals and of course the token representation bffs for the protag. etc. etc.

I'm disabled, I'm queer and I'm a minor, turning 18 in a few years. I don't want more people like me or younger getting hurt, but I'm the fucking villain for that? I shouldn't have to worry about people doing this shit, but I have to because of this shit.

So a big ol hearty FUCK YOU to the adults acting like my concerns are fucking invalid. You want to act like your community is safe? get fucking minors out of it. You want to label it as kink centred? get minors out of it.

I have straight up watched a video about Allyn Walker, a ‘queer’ Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Old Dominion University, who advocated for the term ‘minor attracted persons’ in a university lecture and in a book titled A Long, Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity. While I get where you may be coming from, I see more anti-lgbt people look to real life examples. If they look to books, they will target harmless books as well as books that aren’t meant for a minor audience. For example Prince & Knight which is similar to Cinderella in terms of ‘badness’ to Gender Queer: a Memoir which got my democrat grandmother to agree that some of the pictures (such as the literal blowjob) was not appropriate for a young audience. There is no level of difference in what they target when they’re legitimately against lgbt people and content (i say this because critics of Gender Queer are all blanketed as anti-lgbt including my lgbt self.) I have also watched an elementary art teacher talk about how she decorated her classroom to be like a gay club, which as you could imagine was definitely not something conservatives took too kindly towards. We can have a discussion about fiction, but I can tell you that videos and TikTok is more likely where conservatives are getting their information from rather than ao3.

I understand that conservatives and people who want to see anyone part of the LGBTQIA+ community erased from existence see us as mentally ill and that we should be fixed and will always hate us. They call us pedophiles, groomers, etc. It's hurtful and disgusting.

But seeing the amount of people online (especially white queer people) defend that it's fine to write topics like incest/pedophilia in a glorified "hot" way, it's no wonder these people see us like that.

I'm not saying that because of proshippers, these people hate us and continue to see us in their warped lens of reality. It's just that if we don't make an effort to stop this kind of behaviour, they'll just have more ammo to hate us.
