can I just say

I appreciate that Neve is so buttoned up and poised when you're out in the wild - her hair is tied back, she's veiled, she's wearing some kind of high necked jacket or robes, gloves, a cunty little hat

And then as soon as you get back to the lighthouse she's got her hair down, her tits out, and she's halfway through her second pot of coffee

I've said something to the effect of this before but while I DO love every single person who draws their Sea of Blood Lucanis as looking like a half drowned cat I can't help but run the implications of Lucanis having a well groomed beard and hair in the Ossuary and they're very sad.

There was a post that said something like "Order is sometimes more frightening than Chaos, because Chaos is natural while Order requires manipulation from an outside force" and yeah that's what I'm thinking here.

Like, if you really stop to think about it. Zara seems the type to say some unhinged thing about "wanting her pets well groomed". And obviously Lucanis wasn't given shaving tools to use himself. They likely wouldn't have approached him with razors and whatever without him being restrained or drugged or both.

Are there smells that Lucanis can't handle because it's what scented whatever soaps Zara used? And maybe the smells not like, sterile and medical but something floral he doesn't realize bothers him until he passes a bush in the spring and nearly gags.

Do Rook and Lucanis attempt typical domestic bliss things (trimming his beard, washing his hair that kind of seemingly harmless fluffy thing) only for a few seconds in he shuts down so hard Spite has to ask for help?

Does it eventually get to the point that Rook can run their fingers through his hair help him wash it without him panicking but he never is comfortable around anyone else but himself.

one tiny little detail i love about Veilguard is the absolutely random Memento and codex entry - one of the shortest in the game - that simply notes that if the Chantry ever tries an Exalted March against the elves again, the Antivan Crows (and thus Antiva itself) are going to fucking throw hands. Functionally, it's a conditional but perpetual declaration of war.

No long-winded sanctimony about their guilt, no long annoying thinkpiece, just: "If they or anyone else ever try anything like that again against the elves, either The Chantry (or whoever else) won't be left standing or Antiva won't."

The problem with drawing a character who has no canon description and who could potentially wind up in a future game is that your mental image is going to be nowhere near correct. What we do know about Lucanis is that he doesn’t have a beard but might grow one. Also, that he and his cousin, Illario, are delightful Antivan Crows.
