Glorfindel was about to point out that Thanduil never wanted to go back to the Greenwood when he heard the reason and his stomach dropped. He had known this would come someday, but that knowledge didn't stop the wave of cold that ran through his veins. "You are to be married?" he asked softly, trying to sound understanding instead of frozen.

The tension in Thran’s body eased as he found himself back in his boyfriend’s arms. He offered Finn a small smile, reaching to gently touch his cheek.

Thran had been publicly lusted after countless times, but never had he been loved for the world to see. It seemed an impossibility. Too risky. He had convinced himself for so long that he didn’t want it desperately.

“I’m with you no matter what you decide. I’ll hide in bathrooms the rest of eternity if it means I can be with you. I’m with you no matter what that looks like.”

A few of Finn’s teammates had thought he was alone and had gotten into the hotel room to play a prank on him, and Thran had quickly hidden himself in the bathroom to avoid any strange explanation of his presence.
