Once upon a time, the Roman Catholic Church wanted to dominate the whole world thru conversion to Catholicism. Anyone who thought otherwise was branded as a heretic and met with ferocity by a tribunal, formally known as the Papal Inquisition. The Inquisition was one of the greatest misfortune in the history of Christianity. There has been no other institution in the history of the Christian Church that was so inhumane, so unjust, so…un-Christian. When it was finally abolished 184 years ago, the irreversible damage has already been done, thousands of lives had already been lost, and tens of thousands of lives ruined through torture, mutilation, imprisonment, not to mention the destruction or confiscation of properties. Countless families were driven from their homelands to flee from persecution, and the Roman Catholic Church had earned a scar against its name that still resonates to this day.

So how was this horrific act established, sanctioned and embodied by a religious institution? How were these church leaders able to commit inhumane acts against their fellow human beings as if they didn’t have a conscience or respect for human lives? The answer is surprisingly simple. It was because of FAITH.

Throughout the history of man, faith has served two gods- the true God and the false god. As the True God gives the reward to those who diligently seek Him out (Hebrews 11:6), faith in falsehood also reap dire consequences. Faith then determines mankind’s success and utter destruction because faith in the right hands or in the right hearts, I should say, will yield goodness, respect, compassion, hope, and love. Yet, in the wrong hearts, faith will blindly lead men to become arrogant, prideful, deceitful, troublesome, wicked, hateful and murderous. This is a version of faith that has been WEAPONIZED.

After more than a century since the abolition of the Papal Inquisition, we are now living witnesses of the genesis of a new breed of Inquisition that started in the Philippines and is now widely spread throughout the whole world just like a plague. This modern-day Inquisition is led by none other than this man.

Eduardo V. Manalo, the current Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ), who is considered by his faithful followers to be the most important man on earth. EVM, as he is commonly referred to, is revered by many of his congregants as the guardian of their faith and idolized to the point of setting aside Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Eduardo V. Manalo surrounded himself with “his” Ministers, referred to as the Sanggunian or Council Ministers, and together, they formed the Tribunal that is set up to become one of the world’s most powerful religious institution and anyone who thinks otherwise or gets in their way, will be severely punished in a manner as if to imitate God’s wrath.

THE PRELUDE: BECOMING EXECUTIVE MINISTER

But the Iglesia Ni Cristo was never like this in the beginning. Very much the same way how Jesus Christ started his Church during the first Century. He preached about love and compassion, caring for one another, helping the needy, humility and mercy. He even taught mankind to love even his enemies. Jesus taught the true meaning of hope, faith, and love, the very same Christian principles upheld by Bro. Felix Y. Manalo and Bro. Eraño G. Manalo that ushered the spiritual integrity of the church for almost a century. The Iglesia Ni Cristo was respected and admired worldwide for its unblemished reputation for caring for the flock and anyone who may be in need.

But the wealth, power and influence, that the Church was blessed with over the years, were just too much to resist for anyone with an unpure and greedy heart. This is what propelled EVM, upon the strong influence of his wife, Babylyn Ventura-Manalo, and the connivance of the equally seduced power-driven Sanggunian Ministers to secure his seat of power. Thus, a take-over plan was hatched with the aid of their chosen STF (Special Task Force) ministerial students who swore an allegiance to EVM and his wife Babylyn. The plot was ultimately discovered by Bro. Eraño G. Manalo who was heart-broken when he finally realized that the mastermind was his very own son, who was then the Deputy Executive Minister of the Church, tasked to replace him should he pass away.

Because of EVM’s betrayal, he and his whole family were supposed to be expelled from the Church, along with all the conspirators, including the STF ministerial students, headed by Antonio “Jojo” De Guzman. But because such act would cause so much scandal in the church, Bro. Eraño showed compassion and mercy by suspending EVM from all of his church duties and all of their co-conspirators were expelled and silently sent home, never to return to the Ministry. This fact was only known to the Church Council and the District Ministers during that time and those who were close to the family of Bro. Eranõ G. Manalo. And because EVM finally revealed his true nature, Bro. Eraño made a strong decision to make amendments to the By-Laws of the Articles of Incorporation of the Church to protect the sanctity of the Church Administration by making sure that the most powerful seat in the Church will not fall in the wrong hands. Could these hands be of his eldest son who has proven that his heart can easily be swayed and corrupted? The sole purpose of the amendments was to nullify the initial protocol that upon the death or vacancy of the Executive Minister (EGM), the Deputy Executive Minister will automatically take his place. The amendments stipulate that upon the death of the Executive Minister (EGM), instead of AUTOMATIC SUCCESSION, his successor will have to be VOTED upon by the Church Council which includes the General Evangelist, General Secretary, General Treasurer, General Auditor, and District Ministers. The Church Council will also include as members the following officers, Administrative Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, Custodian of Records, Secretary for Legal Affairs, Secretary for Evangelical Studies, Secretary for Foreign Mission, Auditor for Foreign Mission, and Secretary for Corporate Affairs. Here are the copies of the authentic AMENDED ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION: Read them carefully and understand the context why the amendments were necessary even if EVM was already the Deputy Executive Minister during that time.

Despite the fabricated script that the EVM Ministers were tasked to tell the brethren, the election for the succeeding Executive Minister by the Church Council, NEVER HAPPENED. EVM did not allow this to happen simply because he knew exactly that he will not have a chance to be nominated nor elected. This is when years of plotting his vengeful betrayal against his father, Bro. Eraño G. Manalo came to fruition. EVM spent years buying the loyalty of the Sanggunian Ministers and District Ministers and with his eldest daughter Kristine Dorothy Manalo and son-in-law TJ Orosa planted securely and deeply into the INC’s Legal Department, they were able to fabricate corporate documents to make EVM’s Accession to power APPEAR legitimate.

THE TAKE OVER: PAYBACK TIME

Now that EVM was successful in taking over the Church Administration by circumventing the amended By-Laws made by the late Executive Minister, Bro. Eraño G. Manalo, the next wave was complete domination. Anybody who had knowledge of the STF’s foiled coup d’ état against EGM’s Administration must be silenced by all means. The EVM conversion tactic has always included bribery, blackmail, expulsion or unexplained deaths. This formula proved to be very persuasive and in no time, the Ministers were dancing to the tune of EVM’s flute. The next phase was to completely eradicate anyone who would dare question EVM’s authority and self-appointed mandate.

But you see, not everyone can be bought or threatened. Not everyone can be brainwashed or controlled. So what started as a handful of Ministers and brethren who bravely, whether openly or discreetly, defended the faith, grew in number from all over the world. They were called The Defenders of the Faith. EVM thought that it was something that he could just ignore and scoff at and would just eventually fade away. But he was gravely mistaken. And when Antonio Ebangelista became the mouthpiece of the enlightened and the oppressed, the brethren began to be inquisitive and demanded answers. Answers that EVM and his co-conspirators were never prepared to give truthfully so they resorted to alibis and fabricated tales that awakened the hibernating darkness in the heart of EVM giving rise to EVM’s modern day Inquisition. And in just a short span of 8 years, what Bro. Felix and Bro. Eraño Manalo planted and nurtured, EVM has successfully uprooted and destroyed. What was once globally respected as a pristine religion is now a cult wallowing in shame. The Iglesia Ni Cristo now headed by EVM has an integrity that is highly questionable. Its name dragged in so many controversies of alleged anomalies and illegal activities, corruption, and even murders.

The Papal Inquisition that started in 1231 A.D. became so successful and widely implemented simply because the church was in bed with the King, making the Pope more powerful than any public office and more powerful than the law itself. These are the same trademarks of the EVM’s Inquisition. The Iglesia Ni Cristo of old, was financially stable because its finances were meticulously and carefully managed based on the conservative needs of the Church- no extravagance, no lavish lifestyles, and no unnecessary expenditures. EVM squandered all of that away and was able to put the church in so much debt- it had to borrow Billions of Pesos from the banks just to allow it to continue its spending spree. EVM does not want the nitty-gritty of managing the Church and all it’s loans and mortgages so he gave his go-to guy, Glicerio B. “Jun” Santos Jr., the absolute authority to execute it in his behalf. Something that the previous Executive Ministers would have never done.

In the Philippines, where faith and religion is an integral part of the lives of the people for hundreds of years, the Iglesia Ni Cristo from its humble beginnings arose and stood prominently because of its pristine reputation that earned the love and respect, not only of the Philippine’s different branches of government, its agencies, but even by elected officials because the Church Administration during the time up to Bro. Eraño G. Manalo did not abuse its power and influence. If some were caught doing so, they faced immediate disciplinary action. Unfortunately, to play god was something that proved to be too tempting for EVM and after a hundred years of the Church’s success, pride and arrogance caused him to exploit the Church’s long arm to get what he wants, particularly the complete humiliation and destruction of anyone that has been critical to him and his Administration.

What followed suit was a series of kidnappings, expulsions, libel cases, unjust imprisonment, coercion, illegal detentions, you name it and most probably, EVM’s Administration has done it, including murders. And with the use of its deeply entrenched roots in the law enforcement, the justice system, the branches of government and the complete cooperation of the politicians beholden to the Church’s bloc voting scheme, EVM may very well just get away with everything he ever dreamed of and more…

EVM has successfully done the following under his tyrannical regime:

1. Demonized and expelled his family including his elderly mother

2. He has kept a short leash on all of his Ministers to follow his every command

3. He has brainwashed the fanatic members of the church into idolizing him

4. He has destroyed every living memory and legacy of his father, Bro. Eraño G. Manalo

5. He has instilled fear into the hearts of anyone who would even think of questioning his authority

6. He has divided every family in the Church so as to ensure total obedience to his will

7. He has activated every member of the Church assigned in every Department, Agency, and Institution of the government to acquire special privileges

8. He has legitimized the EVM Inquisition by using the justice system to sign off on all of its targets and assigned the INC members in the law enforcement to carry out EVM’s purge orders

9. He has discreetly used connections to threaten or buy off media entities that are critical of his Administration, just like what happened to The Philippine Daily Inquirer- bought by Ramon Ang, who is a known longtime friend and supporter of EVM. Now the Philippine Daily Inquirer is silent on INC issues.

10. He has managed to stay in the background as he orchestrates the swift manipulation of government agencies to eradicate media entities that do not respond to his bribes or threats, just like what is happening to Rappler.com. The Office of the Solicitor General and the Secretary of Justice are both under the influence of the EVM Church Administration.

And here are the latest victims of the EVM Inquisition. On top of all the pending court cases in the Philippines, others stretching up to years before any movement is done, the EVM Administration managed to use its influence to make sure that these people are apprehended and jailed on every possible charge in order to produce a warrant of arrest, followed by an immediate strike force operation to apprehend and imprison innocent individuals whose only crime was helping the family of Bro. Eraño G. Manalo who are also continuously being persecuted and oppressed. Only in the Philippines! EVM controls the cops who became false witnesses, the same cops who did an unlawful siege in the compound of Bro. Eranño G. Manalo, the same cops who planted the miraculous sea of firearms and labeled them as evidence, and the same cops who apprehended the Family of Bro. Eranõ G. Manalo. Yet nobody even cared to investigate all the armed men of EVM Private Security that surrounded the house of Bro. Angel Manalo and Sister Lottie Manalo-Hemedez?

EVM made sure that he closes the loop that connections from the Prosecutor, all the way up to the Judge are on their side to assure that everything is executed like clockwork. No wonder we cannot get justice for the oppressed.

We hear of other heinous crimes committed, not to mention the cases of plunder and corruption amounting to millions or even billions of pesos, yet these criminals are able to post bail for a meager fraction of the price. But for those considered as enemies of EVM’s Administration such as his own brother, Bro. Angel Manalo and those helping him, bail is denied bail on the basis of fabricated evidence filed against them. The rest of his family members and supporters are now also being hunted with a magical warrant of arrest, of which, their bail price even reached a staggering Php 130,000 (USD $2,600) each. And they still think that nobody is noticing the stinky hands of the EVM Administration plastered all over this. They really think that everyone else is that stupid huh?

Eduardo V. Manalo is really a lot of things, but one thing is for sure- the actions of his administration are definitely not those of a Christian. As a religious leader representing the name of Christ in every building they own, all fingers point to him to have successfully done everything that Jesus forbid yet, miserably failed at everything that God commanded. His actions are definitely louder than words. Denying the plea of his widowed mother and his fatherless siblings and alienating them speak volumes about his capacity to love. If he cannot love his brother or sister whom he can see, then how can he claim to love God whom he cannot see. The Bible defines such a person and everyone who follows his lead, as LIARS:

If anyone says “I love God,” but keeps on hating his brother, he is a liar; for if he doesn’t love his brother who is right there in front of him, how can he love God whom he has never seen? ~ 1 John 4:20 Living Bible (TLB)

The people that EVM targeted and ordered to be arrested and jailed are simple and ordinary citizens. They do not have the ability to fend for themselves due to many months of confinement in the much controversial compound in 36 Tandang Sora Ave. where they devoted their lives to helping the family of Bro. Eraño G. Manalo.

They do not have the ability to defend themselves, much more the ability to pay for the nearly-impossible fines associated with EVM’s Inquisition tactics. Unknown to him and his advisers, even if these acts of harassment are blacked out from the media, they have only once again proven to the public eye that they are one of, if not the world’s greatest bullies and that they will, without hesitation, use the faith of the faithful and fearful, as a weapon of hate and destruction.

The Dalai Lama once said, “Love and Compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive. When there is violence, that is no longer a genuine Christianity. All must Cary love, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment, self-discipline. There has to be a common ground and common practice where we can build genuine harmony, mutual respect, learning, and admiration…”

Honestly, are these virtues still found in the INC institution headed by EVM today? The EVM fanatic would be quick to shout out “Expelled! Non-Believers! Pagans!”, yet, ironically, The Dalai Lama is more Christian than the hypocrite of a leader, Eduardo V. Manalo. And because of this, more and more brethren all over the world are beginning to finally open their eyes, speaking out and standing up, because the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men, Christian men, to do nothing.

Others may think that they are not doing the evil things that EVM and his cohorts are doing so they are not committing any sin in the sight of God so they choose to keep silent about it. BUT, it is not only what you do that can be equated to sinning, but also what you are NOT doing, because it is written:

“Remember, too, that knowing what is right to do and then not doing it is sin.” ~ James 4:17 (TLB)

What is the right thing to do especially at times when there are evil works transpiring around us?

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” ~ Ephesians 5:11 (ESV)

Do not be a willing accomplice of the corrupted Church Administration under EVM. Set yourself free and stand up on the side of God’s righteousness. EXPOSE these evildoers! Let us continue on the path that God has set before us. Let us follow God’s commandments and continue to love and care for one another, helping anyone who is in need, as God expects His true children to do so.

Follow all the more the examples of Christ by putting our faith into action by loving others, contrary to the kind of faith serving the false gods and used as a weapon of hate.

”But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” John 3:17-18

When we love one another just as Christ loved us, it is a sign to all people that we are the true followers of our Lord Jesus- by this, all will know that we are His true disciples.

Imagine this… Just another busy day in the Iglesia Ni Cristo U.S. Main Office at 770 Airport Boulevard in Burlingame California. Everyone seems so preoccupied with their last-minute office work to usher in the weekend. From a distance, one can hear the constant ringing of the phone apparently from the Office of Bro. Radel Cortez and messages about an expulsion circular regarding a certain Dentist from Los Angeles, some last minute changes in the Suguan for the Worship Services and everything would have been done for the day.

Nothing really out of the ordinary from the seat of power of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in the West, not until an unidentified man walked passed the red-hued brick facade and thru the glass front doors into the lobby until finally reaching the Security Desk.

On hand, is a stack of paper that he calmly handed to the Security Personnel, a few writings for the log and some signatures and the man was gladly on his way. A deafening silence filled the room followed by a swift closing of the door. Phones started to ring. One by one, the Minister lawyers hurried to enter the room. Hushed murmurs could be faintly heard from outside the room. What exactly are these documents?

To better understand how these all came about, it is better to read the prelude article regarding Chris Brown’s grueling ordeal in the hands of the powerful and highly influential Church Administration of Eduardo V. Manalo.

READ: CHRIS BROWN ILLEGALLY DETAIN BY INFLUENTIAL I.N.C.

If you are to read the actual case files, there isn’t really anything much to say about it because it’s all there. It is now up to the Church Administration of Eduardo Manalo to provide proof (fabricated or not) that these allegations are false. But how will they deny something that has been widely publicized and proudly owned by the Iglesia Ni Cristo?

It will now be a RUSH-CLEAN-UP-JOB for the INC Legal Department to tie all loose ends that will connect the EVM Church Administration to this case. One loose end has certainly been tied with the sudden and unexplained demise of Jose Victor Los Baños Giongco, one of the primary Defendants who is also the Maligaya Development Corporation’s Legal Counsel who initiated the $300,000 extortion on the behest of the INC Leadership. The courts certainly won’t be able to force a dead man to identify the people who gave him the official instruction to extort and detain Mr. Chris Brown. Who else would end up dead and unable to testify, is a morbid question but one that must be asked…

The EVM Church Administration certainly has nothing to fear because they can always count on their diligent and extremely capable lawyers in the likes of Restituto Lazaro shown here in the picture (extreme left) along with the widely-known corrupt INC General Auditor, Glicerio “Jun” B. Santos Jr. and the Korean fugitive Ja Hoon Ku who is wanted in his country for embezzling $200,000.00. So now you can imagine exactly the kind of company they keep. Lazaro has been all over the place in the US instilling fear among suspected defenders about their plans to sue the ministers for allegedly using INC- owned materials (unfounded) in group prayers and meetings.

Here’s another one, the hot-head Minister-Lawyer Sonny Santiago shown here in a video recording showcasing his violent outburst and complete disregard of the law by attacking an innocent Defender expressing her freedom to hold a peaceful vigil. His experience in this kind of bullying (allowed only in the Philippines) will not take him far in US courts when it comes to litigation which he has absolutely zero experience.

But let us not forget the Minister-Lawyer who tirelessly go around the world to defend the EVM Church Administration, if only he could win atleast one of these cases, then his efforts would probably mean something.

Whether he had a hand in the reinstatement of the family who owned this Restaurant is not important but I’m sure he tried to take credit for it and is as proud as he looks in this infamous pose.

In a few hours, the EVM Church will be having their Thanksgiving Worship Service courtesy of the Pay-Per-View Playback of a recorded/streamed video of Eduardo V. Manalo. His minion ministers are surely thankful that he has no knowledge about this Chris Brown lawsuit…yet.

We, however, certainly have a lot to thank God for. Allowing the light of TRUTH to shine so brightly worldwide that it exposes the decaying matter lurking from within the now corrupt church under Eduardo V. Manalo is one of them. Knowing that more and more Brethren who used to be blinded from the truth are now being enlightened and having the courage to stand up for what is right, is another. Let us all accept the fact that many are called to see the light and are expected to do the right thing in the sight of God, BUT ONLY A FEW ARE CHOSEN TO REMAIN FAITHFUL TO GOD AND OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

No matter how much they want to hide the truth… No matter how much they try to weave lies to make the Brethren believe them… The truth will always come out and we can only pray that it is only a matter of time for those who are still doubtful and still naively believe, that Eduardo V. Manalo and his Sanggunian Ministers are still guided by God, to also finally see the truth.

As for the rest of us, we will continue to follow God’s commandments written in the Bible in Ephesians 5:11 (Revised Standard Version)

is the only tune that the bewildered EVM Administration knows how to sing. And frankly speaking, they are the only ones who don’t realize that THEY ARE EXCRUCIATINGLY OUT OF TUNE!

It makes me wonder if they even bothered to look up its meaning because it can very well be found in many Iglesia Ni Cristo sponsored pages all over the World Wide Web!

Yes, sadly, Libel, which is any Defamation can be seen along with the words “Proud to be INC” written, posted, printed, in effigies, filmed and broadcasted in these Iglesia Ni Cristo social media pages. Not only that- Ministers, officers and official spokespersons are now encouraged to Slander those who pose as threats to the Administration they adore!

Slander, also defined as any defamation that is spoken and heard easily springs out from the mouths of this One With EVM fanatics. Now that you know the difference between the two, it helps to remember that both Libel and slander are collectively known as defamation, that can harm a reputation, ruin confidence or regard; reduce respect; or induct negative public perceptions or hostile feelings against an individual or entity. Simply put, libel and slander are civil wrongdoings that cause injury to one’s good name through written and spoken words or visual images. Remember these?

How hypocritical! But having the money to sustain these propaganda in their own media outlets, the same money used to file these Libel cases against their most vocal critics, do not, in any way, guarantee their success in court. And not having abundant resources as they have, do not in any way, predicate that their critics (which are the true victims of suppression of free speech) are not telling the TRUTH. And, that has become their “S.U.P.” (SUCK UP PROTOCOL) in an effort to defend the once good name of the church. Suppress, oppress by persecution, and prosecute with Libel cases to SILENCE them and to keep EVM smiling is the ultimate goal. This is the new Staple Food they serve on the table to their unwelcomed guests- Libel Cases with everything including the kitchen sink. Many decided to join the bandwagon of libel suit-filing-spree from the Eduardo V. Manalo church like Resty Lazaro, GP Santos, Zeromsky Pineda, Allen Blair Boy, Wilfredo “Pink” Santos, Serafin Cuevas, Moises Tolentino and Ferdinand Topacio just to name a few. Just recently, Restituto Lazaro has been making waves visiting the District of Southern California to illegally advice (or rather coerce) unscrupulous members (just like him) to file trumped up charges against some of their critics known to be the biggest thorn on their side. But we will feature Resty Lazaro when the right time comes. Everyone knows that he has no license to practice law in the United States. For now, no one stands out in prominence, well, more like a sore thumb, other than the most promising lawyer/minister of the Church in the United States, THE Rommel San Pedro (pronounced as San PAIDro), or “RSP.”

Please feel free to email or text him to let him know how he is doing at his job. I didn’t know that Rommel San Pedro had any reputation to protect since he has never amounted to anything in terms of jurisprudence, much less as a Minister. I was hoping that he would have something to look forward to or hope for, yet the only prominence he ever gained was when he was appointed as the pathetic attack dog of Eduardo V. Manalo’s Administration. And the only attention he even remotely got was due to his embarrassing blunders and epic fails. Not to mention the tactless gung ho engagement of his mother as a spiritual warrior to defend her bear cub against anyone who criticizes his imbecility. Clearly, we can now see that the rotten apple does not fall far from the tree.

But what does this all prove? That the Administration of Eduardo V. Manalo is “pikon” (sore loser)! That they have all the money to spend, all the time and effort to exhaust, and many blind followers to use in filing all those “copy-paste” libel suits. That they are a force to be reckoned with, and a powerful organization to be feared. But does the filing of libel suits truly dignify or vindicate the current church condition of disarray?

The truth of the matter is, there is nothing dignifying about using a loophole in the justice system (especially in the Philippines) for the sole purpose of vindictive censorship, persecution, and oppression. Yet, it is being abused by the rich, influential and powerful to silence their critics even outside the Philippines.

And in the Philippines, where libel suits are a dime a dozen, the “thinking Filipinos” and the General Public know this INC tactic all too well.

Journalists are all too familiar with this legal tactic, and it does not bode well at all for Menorca. A libel case in Lanao del Norte against someone who lives in Quezon City is not legal redress, but pure retaliation. And, like clockwork, a second libel case surfaced the day after Menorca’s arrest—this time from the Regional Trial Court of Lanao del Sur.

So before we end this article, let us just ponder on something simple yet ultimately profound… During the time of Bro. Felix Y. Manalo, the Church of Christ was just starting in the Philippines, it faced gigantic and powerful religions that persecuted it, how many libel suits did Bro. Felix file against the church’s detractors? During the time of Bro. Eraño and his 46 years of dynamic stewardship of the Church, how many detractors spoke against him and the Church of Christ? One thing that Bro. Felix and Bro. Eraño Manalo have in common is that they stood on the TRUTH for God was with them and the Church. They did not even need to retaliate against those who spoke against the INC. The only time the Church filed libel cases in my knowledge was during the time of the ADD Preacher Eli Soriano, which was spearheaded by the Legal Head then, Minister Restituto Lazaro. I can also attest that “some” of those were known to Bro. Erdy, but “most” were also deliberately hidden from his knowledge. But even those cannot compare to the magnitude of spiritual instability and insecurity of Eduardo V. Manalo and his whole corrupted Administration. Why? Because they are standing, not on the TRUTH, but on a flimsy web of lies and deceit. That is why they have a NEED to SILENCE those who are exposing their anomalies and corruption at any cost.

If this current Church Administration of Eduardo V. Manalo does not have anything to hide, no Billion Pesos Bank Loans, no Secret Business Corporations, no secret lavish properties and lifestyle, no covert mafia-like abductions and kidnappings of their enemies, no skeletons of smuggling, racketeering and murders in their closet, why even try to censor free speech? The answer is glaringly simple… BECAUSE THE TRUTH CONTRADICTS THE LIES THAT THEY WEAVE. CORRUPTION, UNDENIABLY, EXISTS IN THIS ADMINISTRATION.

So as a simple piece of advice to this fanatic Minister Rommel San Pedro… You can file as many libel suits as you can, along with all the well-paid lawyers of the church roster. After all, it was you who stated this to your former colleagues who are undoubtedly more principled than you- “that you will exhaust any amount from the church coffers and every effort in your bones to sue the shirt off the back of anyone who will speak the truth about the corruption in the church”. What do International Celebrities, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber, have in common?

Aside from their pants sagging, tattooed “bad boy” image, it seems that both have realized some truth about the religious mob syndicate in the Far East behind the infamous Philippine Arena. The only difference is, Chris Brown had to learn it the hard, the terrifying and traumatic way. On the other hand, Justin Bieber heeded our warnings and made the right decision not to fall for the honey-coated trap and canceled his Purpose Tour, thereby escaping what could possibly be another extortion fiasco.

While China has openly banned this talented artist for his unwholesome image and “bad behaviour”, the current Church Of Christ or Iglesia ni Cristo Administration seemed to have forgotten the stern statements made by its Official Spokesperson, Mr. Edwin Zabala, to open the Philippine Arena to the public for as long as the functions “do not go against the doctrines of the church.” In fairness to Justin Bieber, who lately has suffused his music with an urban contemporary vibe in an attempt to act cool and mature, his past bad behavior may just very well be attributed to his youth, the pressures of the industry, and the glitter of fame and money. Image aside, there was that one particular show allowed at the Philippine Arena, which clearly violated one of the most important Fundamental Doctrines of the Church regarding idolatry. Shall we remind you about the idols brought on stage by no other than Miss Katy Perry? The idols that got the applause of many brethren, ministers and their families, notably, the wife of Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo, Babylyn Ventura Manalo!

But let’s get back to Chris Brown, who was not as lucky. After months of deliberations, Chris Brown and his Management finally gathered enough evidence to press charges of Extortion which caused this artist severe emotional distress! The singer claims that the defendants, Maligaya Development Corporation tried to strong-arm him out of $300,000 after a makeup concert at the Philippine Arena in July 2015 for the missed New Year’s Eve show in 2014. I don’t know about you, but I will surely be following this story and updates regarding it will be featured here for your information and entertainment!

Back in 2015, INC used its “long arm” once more to circumvent all due process and illegally detained Chris Brown’s promoter, Mr. John Michael Pio Roda with trumped up charges. Please take note that this lucrative transaction is between Chris Brown’s Promotion Management and Maligaya Development Corporation (headed by the INC’s General Auditor, Glicerio B. Santos Jr.) and Gertrudes Santos-Lorenzo (Daughter of Glicerio B. Santos Jr.) of J.Williams Management Group, Inc. So now you know how the money trail circulates within the Santos Family. And because the transaction became sour, Chris Brown and his Promoter experienced, first-hand, what it means to provoke the ire of the Santoses. Immediately, professionalism and human rights went out the window as the Bureau of Immigration’s acting head of Legal Division, Atty. Chris Villalobos, an Iglesia Ni Cristo member, along with the Bureau’s full force, arrested and illegally detained Mr. Roda for two weeks. Imagine the kind of power these Church official yields…

So why is the WORLD’S LARGEST DOMED ARENA, the Philippine Arena, riddled with so many controversies?

BECAUSE ITS VERY EXISTENCE IS BASED ON A LIE.

Ever since its conception up to its construction, the Eduardo V. Manalo Church Administration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, in all its pride and glory, established and promoted it to be solely funded and owned by the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo).

The Iglesia Ni Cristo church members, along with the general public, was conveniently led to believe that the Philippine Arena was the magnificent pinnacle of success for the Eduardo V. Manalo Church Administration. That the colossal mega-structure was the product of the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s financial strength, boasting that it was solely financed by the church members’ voluntary offerings during worship services, without any external financial support from the government or private institutions, as had been the case with all church endeavors during the time of the previous Executive Ministers of the Church. But what was advertised as a shining beacon of our worship to God was later on exposed for the altar of hypocrisy that it was truly for.

Just when they thought everything they said was believable, many brethren were shocked and saddened when news about the embezzlement case against the contractor, Ja Hoon Ku, hired by the Iglesia ni Cristo Administration caused a big controversy. INC members were quick to defend this fugitive stating that he has changed his ways because he has expressed the desire to join the church after listening to its doctrines. But no one was as quick as Glicerio “kidlat” (lightning) Santos Jr. to get a Palace official to sign an order to release Ku from detention and turn him over to the INC for protection. Harboring an accused wanted embezzler was the beginning of the questionable and duplicitous dealings of the Philippine Arena representatives and the slow but sure downfall of the reputation of the INC.

And on June 7, 2015, something even bigger happened. After months of undercover investigation, we were able to retrieve confidential documents of numerous church properties being sold which were actually unheard of and unprecedented during the pristine years of the Church before the assumption of Eduardo V. Manalo to the Office of The Executive Minister. Further investigations eventually led to the discovery of authentic confidential documents of even more properties of the Church that are being used as mortgaged collaterals. This led to the mother load, proving that the prestigious Philippine Arena, was actually funded by Billion peso bank loans (DEBT/UTANG) made by the Church thru its commercial front, the Maligaya Development Corporation, from numerous Philippine Banks.

‘TRUTH’: BAD FOR BUSINESS FOR THE PHILIPPINE ARENA

Despite Eduardo V. Manalo-Church Administration’s efforts to quash the extremely damaging exposés of corruption and anomalies, the truth about the Church’s financial instability that prompted the need for multi-Billion bank loans went public. Then all of a sudden, the Eduardo V. Manalo Church Administration became mum about its connection and involvement with the Philippine Arena, and politically stated that the Philippine Arena is owned and operated by the Maligaya Development Corporation and NOT the by the Church of Christ, which is a “dumb and dumber’s way” of saying, “we don’t technically own and operate the Philippine Arena since the INC is a religion, and religions cannot engage in commercial businesses or for-profit activities. So please don’t look at the corporate structure of the Maligaya Development Corporation so you will not realize that the Corporate Officers are also the same personalities that belong to the current INC Church Administration and its cronies.”

Featuring the once “just-an-ordinary-minister-turned-church-big-boss” Glicerio B. Santos Jr. and the whole Santos Family that rose to notoriety and prominence making them the primary and majority stock holders for all religious and church-controlled commercial entities. With the trickling inflow of cash for the Philippine Arena, expect more “church”-endorsed events to be fed to the church members, and failure to “cooperate” will yield unsavory consequences.

This is a question that is quickly answered by the O.W.E. (One With EVM) church loyalists with a resounding “NO!!!” as if it was a matter of fact. This is also a question that is also quickly answered by the long-time church detractors with an even louder answer, “YES!!!!!”, as if it was written in stone…

But for the “Old Guards” of the pristine Church of Christ, like myself and the few who have been the “Caretakers” of the previous Church Administration’s legacy, we answer it with a deafening silence… And today is the day that I, with a broken heart, shall break my silence to serve a far greater Truth.

Anybody who swore an Oath of Loyalty in the holy Ministry knows this by heart. It is a sacred open secret to all of us who are Ministers and those who have been entrusted to protect the church at all cost. Even during the early times when the Church of Christ in the Philippines was still young in years, only but a few decades old, “Sinomang mang-agrabyado sa sinomang kapatid ay tiyak na maglalaho na parang bula”, (Anyone who victimizes any brethren in the Church will definitely disappear like a bubble) is a byline known to every member of the Church. It is both a sense of pride and security for every member of the Church of Christ knowing that if he is ever persecuted, oppressed or violated by anyone because of his faith or conviction, he only needs to go to the nearest Locale or find the nearest brethren and ask for help, then the wheels of a different justice will automatically turn and strike against those who deserve it. I remember the time during the violent years in Tondo, Manila when the criminality was at an all-time high. People were being robbed, mugged or attacked even in broad daylight by crooks that ran the streets of Tondo. BUT EVEN THEN, THIS IS A WELL-KNOWN FACT TO EVERY CRIMINAL DURING THOSE DAYS, “NEVER TOUCH A KAPATID” (Brethren in the Church). It was a silent code among criminals and a peace pact between them and the church because if anyone were to cross that line and break that pact, bloodshed will follow.

Many of you who were already alive during those years were all too familiar with the common stories told amongst brethren, one of them is when a newcomer came to Tondo and while he was riding a jeepney, he got robbed. The robbers took his watch and his wallet, not knowing that he was an INC member. The brother went to the nearest chapel in Tondo. He was met by the Resident Minister and was offered food and water because that’s how brethren were during those days. Even if you don’t know each other personally but you know that you are members of the same Church, then you would treat each other more than your own flesh and blood. So, after learning about what happened to this Brother, the Resident Minister called for the Head Deacon of the Locale. The Head Deacon immediately went and saw the Minister. He was introduced to the disgruntled Brother who was still trembling with fear from his traumatic experience. The Head Deacon just asked two questions, “What is the brand of the watch and what are the contents of his wallet”. He then left the church compound, gathered some other male brethren and went to the side streets of Tondo where even the police were afraid to go. There was a galvanized iron fence that restricted the entry of anybody into those streets. The Head Deacon slammed on the fence three times, an opening appeared, the Head Deacon peered thru and talked to the watchman of the fence. The Head Deacon told the watchmen, “Meron kaming kapatid na nanakawan ng relo at wallet kani-kanina lamang habang nasa Jeep sya. Kapag hindi ninyo sinauli iyon sa loob ng bente minutos, papasok na kami!” (We have a Brother who was robbed of his watch and wallet while in a jeepney. If you do not return them in 20 minutes, we will come in after you!) Half an hour later, the Head Deacon returned to the Chapel and handed a watch and a wallet to the Brother who was so amazed and pleased to see his belongings once more. This is just one of the many stories you hear from the elderly Brethren who witnessed the respect that the public, even the criminals, have for the Church and its members. If a Sister was raped, the attacker was sure to end up dead in a ditch somewhere. If a Minister was disgraced in public, the perpetrators’ houses would suddenly be ablaze due to some mysterious faulty wiring or leaky gas tank. If a member was murdered, as sure as the sun rises in the morning, the murderers and their families would suddenly be involved in some freaky accident killing their entire household. These are open secrets that solidified one’s resolve, NEVER TO CROSS THE INC.

So if you ask any old Ministers if these were true, anyone who says that these are false, are simply LYING to protect the image of the Church. If you ask any young Ministers today, especially the Instant Ministers known as the STF Ministers (Special Task Force to EVM), they would probably deny all of these things simply due to their IGNORANCE and NAIVETÉ.

So how can anybody be capable of killing another person for the Church?

Simple. They believe they are doing it for the sake of the Church and the Brotherhood, and they are ONLY doing it to THOSE who persecute and violate the church and its members, therefore, doing it as a service to God. Always remember that every Minister swore an oath to protect the Church and the Flock at all cost. Everyone is indoctrinated with the same faith that we are all willing to die for the church, and that same faith could easily twist someone’s thoughts so that it would be justifiable to be willing to kill for the church. Some even consider it the ultimate test of their faith. That is why the “HINIRANG” Group (Chosen Ones) is very real. These men and women who belonged to this secret group, swore an oath of loyalty and silence until death, that they will serve and protect the Church at all cost. Take note though that the Hinirang Group during the time of the previous Administration is different from the Social Media war-freaks Hinirang of today.

Now the lingering question in all of you is this, did the previous Executive Ministers organize and sanction these groups and the extrajudicial activities they committed?

The answer is NO. The formation of the HINIRANG Groups and INC Vigilantes laid in the hands of the District Ministers who established these groups in their respective Districts to ensure that the members of the Church in their Districts will not fall victims to crimes and abuses. The previous Executive Ministers before Eduardo V. Manalo did not condone these groups and their acts of avenging victimized brethren, rather, they were EXPELLED by the Executive Minister then, for putting the law into their own hands. Once these groups were discovered, they were disbanded, expelled from the Church and were made to answer for their crimes because the ends did not justify their means of carrying out justice. And the decision of Bro. Eraño G. Manalo to eradicate these groups and the elitist vigilante mentality that they adhere to, was divine intervention because what started out as groups who protected the church and its members later on degenerated into criminal syndicates and hired killers that only gained much prominence during the Administration of Eduardo V. Manalo.

Here lies the glaring difference between Bro. Eraño G. Manalo with his, spiritually inspired leadership, and Eduardo V. Manalo and his ego-centered, power and greed-driven administration. The lurking evil that his father banished, EVM embraced and allowed to flourish during his controversy-stricken regime. Not only does Eduardo V. Manalo have full knowledge of the extrajudicial activities that his Administration commit, HE CONDONES THEM, gives worldly rewards to those who can stomach the atrocities, and condemns those who are even remotely troubled by their conscience. That is why at present, it is no longer even shocking to hear news of INC members (and or Ministers) for being members of crime syndicates, drug syndicates, racketeering syndicates, smugglers, sex offenders, murderers, and plunderers. And because EVM destroyed the pristine “check and balance” system that was put in place by his predecessors to prevent the adulteration of the Church, EVM ushered in a NEW BREED OF CRIMINALS that found safe haven into the Church of Christ.

These are the same wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing who slaughtered and murdered the innocent men whose only “crime” was to love their neighbor, as commanded by Christ, yet these Good Samaritans crossed the angry stare of the self-proclaimed “Most Important Man in the World”. The same man who used the holy pulpit during worship services to preach about destroying us, the “enemies of the church”, thereby establishing a biblical prelude of what’s to come to those who will stand up for the Truth, they “They shall be as Nothing!!!”

Remember the warning of our Lord Jesus. When we were expelled from the church for standing up for goodness, righteousness, and truth, the killing of our souls by expulsion wasn’t the end of it all. Our Lord forewarned of an even greater threat to our very lives here on earth.

“They will expel you from the synagogue. The time is coming when those who will kill you will think that they are doing a service to God. They will do these things because they don’t know the Father or me. But I have said these things to you so that when their time comes, you will remember that I told you about them.” ~ John 16:2-4 (CEB)

The result? Multiple counts of abductions, illegal detentions, grave threats, acts of violence and MURDERS. And they are now even boldly doing these PUBLICLY, even in broad daylight, simply because they know that they have the FULL BACKING of the EVM Church Administration coupled with its powerful clout over government agencies, law enforcement, judicial systems and even the media. Who else, then, will stand up against these Spiritual Terrorists? Who would have the courage and the firm resolve to do what is right, when those who do right, are being persecuted, oppressed, jailed and killed? Only the Chosen few, the Remnant few, those who did not allow themselves to be silent and be used as instruments of evil and agents of persecution. These are the few good men and women, the real-life GOOD SAMARITANS.

“7 Your country is desolate, Your cities are burned with fire; Strangers devour your land in your presence; And it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 8 So the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, As a hut in a garden of cucumbers, As a besieged city. 9 Unless the Lord of hosts Had left to us a very small remnant, We would have become like Sodom, We would have been made like Gomorrah.” ~ Isaiah 1:7-9 NKJV

Who are some of these modern-day Good Samaritans?

A Good Samaritan has the characteristic of being selfless, which is one of the most important traits any Christian can have. We can find the story of the Good Samaritan In Luke 10 where our Lord Jesus Christ stated that to attain eternal life we must love God above all else and love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:31; Galatians 5:14). In our time today, and in the greatest fight and test of our faith we are in, many can be considered selfless. They go beyond helping someone in need, caring for the sick, giving alms to the poor, loving and taking care of parents, widows, and orphans.

When we speak of Good Samaritans, Bro. Felix Villocino surely comes to mind along with others who risked a multitude of things from losing their very own livelihood, missing time for themselves and for their families, and sadly, even sacrificing their very lives. Bro. Felix went missing for several months before we received leads that confirmed his brutal murder. He is the third confirmed murder to date. If the evidence serves us correctly, he was tortured after he went missing on April 18, 2017, just a week after the disappearance of Bro. Danilo Patungan who disappeared on April 11, 2017.

And who could forget the gruesome murder of Bro. Lito Fruto after midnight on May 24, 2017, followed by another horrendous murder in broad daylight which was that of Bro. Peter Ledesma on June 10, 2017. We reiterate that these 4 victims have one common denominator and that is “helping the family of Bro. Eraño G. Manalo when they were severely oppressed in their own home in 36 Tandang Sora where they were trapped by evil and corrupt men and women of power in the Church within three-story walls without electricity, food, water, and other daily necessities. These four were also the primary and close helpers of bro. Angel Manalo when he was unjustly imprisoned.

It is a very difficult thing not to think of revenge. A tooth for a tooth, or an eye for an eye. It must be most difficult especially for the helpless families of these victims and for us who share their sorrow to lay aside hurt feelings, aggrieved and wounded hearts, but these killings are only but one part of the test. The other part of the test is for us to become like these honorable victims, men who are truly selfless. As much as we want to hate the perpetrators of these crimes and repay evil for evil, we, the true Christians are expected not to put the law into our own hands. We are especially taught and reminded to love the unlovable. Our Lord Jesus expects us to extend this love and selflessness far beyond normal expectations as he commands us to love our enemies and even pray for our persecutors (Matthew 5:44).

For our fallen brothers who came out of the Church’s state of ruin, rubble and carnage as Good Samaritans and heroes, we are confident that their sacrifices will not be in vain. Do not emulate the merciless and the murderers for they are unGodly and have already accepted their fate of everlasting wrath and punishment. Our examples instead are the Good Samaritans who will inspire a multitude more to rise for righteousness, goodness, and truth, and to provide unmeasured comfort to the oppressed and persecuted to the point of sacrificing their lives.

“So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’” “So which of these three,” Jesus asked, “do you think was a neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” And the man who had first asked the question responded: “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise” (Luke 10:30-37).
