Shock Defeat
The Akari PowerChargers defeated the F2 Logistics Team in a gruelling 4set fashion that stalls the rise of F2 going into the quarterfinal round.
It is also the third win for Akari who is second to the last in team standings. F2 will be remembered as the team that dealt Creamline its lone loss in the tournament so far. Not the best day for Stalzer as most f2 spikes are either sent spiralling back to their side or the ball going out. The ferocious Akari with a roster of veteran standouts
leans on their Olympian PowerSpiker in Priscilla Rivera. F2 failed to neutralize the unstoppable spikes of Rivera. Kalei Mau didnt play but Majoy Baron seen action. The absence ofKalei Mau proved disastrous as Akari keeps it pounding across the net. The game is close all the way to the end set score. Akari keeps attacking F2 right in the front net and the beleaguered F2 succumbs to the atrocious volleys of Akari.

Games Yesterday
#onesportTV
The first game, Cignal HD Spikers won over PetroGazz Angels in another tight 5setter fashion. The first two sets is taken by Cignal
but PetroGazz proving itself worthy to the challenge clawed its way back to tie the game at 2-2 apiece. The fifth set saw an 11 all score but Cignal proves itself steadier down the stretch went on to win the fifth set. Set two saw the score tied at 24 at 25 at 26 up to 32 until Cignal breaks the ice to win it. Cignal is parading a new import in Bierria duelling it out with Vander Weide
of PetroGazz. It was a close match all the way which saw veteran Myla Pablo providing backcourt to Palma Pontilla against Jheck Dionela Daquiz and the HD Spikers. This two team are seen as capable of beating Creamline with the way they play. Now its a threeway logjam at the 3rd and fourth remaining semis spot . Cignal PetroGazz and F2 are now all sporting similar 3-2 slate. We could be anticipating a possible knockout game going in to the semis.
The 5:30 game saw PLDT HighSpeed Hitters dealing Akari another loss as the Hitters registered their 2nd win still a remote chance of making it to the semis this time. The first set is easily won by the Hitters leading by as much as 12 points down the stretch. But the second set saw a different Akari Team as it goes 16 all and 18 all giving the Hitters to exert more effort to take the set. Priscilla Rivera, Akaris import single handidly carries the cudgels for Akari as the newly assembled team is still feeling its own rythm in every game. George deBrito coaches for Akari. Akari is a competitive team already winning two games. An addition of one or two more veteran can change the teams chemistry for the better in the future. The all around brilliant game of Mika Reyes provided that much needed muscle to win it for PLDT. The prolific Russian import Elena Salmoneva with her steady barrage of zooming spikes kept the score comfortably in favor of the hitters. Prado, Basas Jules Samonte Soyud provided that steady floor defense for the Hitters as Rivera kept pummeling her monstrous spikes unstoppable set after set. PLDT as one unit played better this time as the game is played to a sparse crowd at the Big Dome. We can see more PVL games played at the Big Dome and OneSports TV as SmartGigaPlay providing all the action on this 2022 reinforced edition of the PVL.
