Since it’s E3 time and Ubisoft is set to announce the new Assassin’s Creed Oddsey it felt only appropriate to finally debut my master assassin Lady Evie Frye. It’s only been a solid 2 years since I’ve worn her or anything but she is still one of my all time favorite characters to date. I wish I had stopped to take more pictures of her at the time, seeing as this one is after a long 4 hours in late May Atlanta heat and I found myself just laying in our hotel bathtub to try and finally cool off. Hopefully now with another game out I can again pull her out and wear her for a proper shoot. Here’s to looking forward to what the new class of assassin has to offer!!

I guess we all have to start somewhere on here. It’s been a long two years since I’ve been able to do anything costume related and I’m very excited to be plunging back into it all now. Even if the only thing I have to show that’s tangible is the wonderful corset I ordered from Axiya and the perfectly complimenting shirt I happened upon thrifting today with my Mom and daughter for our “Monster’s day” outing. I promise you internet, I have a stack of 5 yards of faux leather with the pattern traced on it, 3 yards of quilted faux suede that I’ve already begun cutting out, 6 yards of various trim both cotton and leather, 2 yards of black ultrasuede for a panther applique for my hood and 25+ yards of suede cording to lace the various pieces of this beast up with. I have 5 lbs of hand cut rings for her custom  fine Elven mail. The base of Eillana’s special quiver of Dragon killing arrows is already in my possession and in the modification stage. Her archery bracer and thumb ring are in design. Her Oathkeeper bow that has left many a foe dead and was gifted to her by the man she loves is also in the rafters. She isn’t a character known to anyone outside of my husband’s homebrew for D&D but she if my favorite wood elf ranger who left her home to find her half brother, Maurice whom she absolutely adores to a fault. She is rigid and loyal to fault, her giant panther son Roran always hiding behind her. She is my favorite OC and I hope the world is ready for her own special brand of eye rolling because she is in the process of becoming one of my favorite costumes already. I would like to channel the Lizz of 2 years ago after she swore off heavy leather jackets with over sized hoods who swore them off after cosplaying Evie Frye and reintroduce myself. Because not only did we do it again? We added latex ears....
