Sleepy Kisses

Foo honestly loves watching you sleep and enjoys the soft rise and fall of each sleep addled breathe. However they enjoy waking you up to soft kisses even more, and they’ll litter your face with them until you wake. When you finally wake up enough to give them soft kisses back they just feel like melting into a puddle of goo. They’ll blush and stammer before going back in to steal another delightfully sleepy and soft kiss. The way you mutter a good morning against their lips definitely doesn’t melt them even more. To them your sleepy kisses are more akin to ambrosia, so much more fulfilling than water.

Blanket Burritos

Sometimes Foo wondered how you could get cold so easily and simultaneously ignore it like it wasn’t happening. Couldn’t you feel the goosebumps rising as you shivered almost constantly? So finally succumbing to the urge Foo ushered you to the bed piled with many soft blankets. They were tired of seeing you cold so they’d make you warm, and so with great gentleness they wrapped you up. They adores your smile from the blanket burrito as you finally seemed warm.

Starry Eyes

The first thing Foo saw upon gaining sentience was the clear blue sky, and they couldn’t help but immediately love it. As plankton their sky was merely a watery imitation and they could never see the stars so bright. To say they adore the night sky is an understatement, but they love it even more in your eyes. Constellation after constellation dot themselves in your eyes so lovingly. How can Foo not love your starry eyes when they’re a mixture of things they love.

Jonathan

Rainy Days

Jonathan loves rainy days more that anything. More than food, hobbies, or breathing because it involves his heart and soul. You. He loves watching every drop drip down the window pane as you burrow into the warmth of his chest and breathe in his scent. Loves hearing you curse and spit as what you’re working on hits a snag and you have to start over. Loves listening to the rise and fall of your breath as you fight sleep tucked into his warm bulk. Loves watching as your smaller fingers play with his, because as your fingers tangle with his the love in his heart grows. He’ll always recall his favorite view always being when he’s watching you bathed in the dim light of a spring storm.

Kitchen Dancing

One more thing Jonathan loves as much as a rainy day is when you cook/bake. The smells wrap around your home and smell more like home with every waft. So he’ll take great joy in joining you in the kitchen as you hum an imaginary song to your own tune. He’ll gently tug you into your arms and sway you back and forth like the tides in the ocean. He’ll twirl, dip, and dance you around the kitchen until it brightens with the sound of your laughter. Because your food always tastes so much better with the light of your laughter shone upon it.

Perfect Naps

Oh how could he forget taking naps with you on the couch! He absolutely adores how you curl up on his chest content with just him and a blanket to keep you company. Sometimes he joins you in the best sleep of his life, but sometimes he just watches you puff away. Every incoherent mumble, snore, and strange facial expression swells his heart three times its normal size. He feels content watching you sleep because everything you do fills him with love and peace. How can he not be happy when his beloved is getting much needed rest.

Ghiaccio

Sweet Softness

Every day you knock the breathe from his lungs yet teach him how to breathe again with a single touch. Ghiaccio had never know another person could be so soft. From the way you lay your loving gaze upon him to the way you flit around the room. Like the most delicate of hurricanes. Sometimes he lost himself in the contrast of your hands, his rough and yours oh so soft. He’d never met someone so soft and so lovely until you.

Dreams

Ghiaccio never had dreams. Not of the future nor the past. Not until you dance your way into his life and brought happiness, clarity, and yes dreams. Beautiful dreams of a sea-side cottage, of growing old by your side, and laughter that would fill your home light. Where he’d get to dip you to a tune on the radio, or sing to you so sweetly as an expression of love. No, Ghiaccio had never dreamt until he found himself swept up in the whirlwind of your love.

Warm Hands

Ghiaccio had always run cold, even before he’d gained his stand. He remembered how his mother would clasp his cold hands and blow warmth upon them. He could remember oh so well how she’d mutter fretfully as she tried to warm his fingers even for a moment. However holding your hands is like cusping a star, warm and perfect in his palm. You never flinch from the cold but instead lean into it, and he melts beneath the attention of a blazing star. You never tried to warm his palms between yours because you liked the cold to your warmth.

I’m loving the cold nights rn 🙌 finally some cool air in Texas!

Dryad!Reader x Centaur!Rohan

Fall always made you giddy with delight at the lowered temperature and the way it reflected on your hair. Normally a steady green color your hair had been turning gold like your trees leaves. Even your partner Rohan liked to you with your golden strands more than usual, and he loved to style it for you with numerous accessories.

Most people thought Rohan would be the worst partner with his snarky personality. Honestly you’d thought that too when you first started dating, but you found out just how wrong you were! Thoughtful dates and gifts while also spoiling you with expensive gifts. He had basically bought you a new wardrobe that fit your aesthetic!

You weren’t all too surprised when he offered to take you on a day trip to the country, and he promised you’d like his surprise. After a hour or two by train he offered you a blind fold and a soft yet secretive smile. As he led you through town to a forest trail you couldn’t help but wonder what he had planned.

Finally he pulled you to a stop, lifted your blindfolded, and watched as surprise filled your expression. It’s your tree! He had lead you to your tree decked out with lights and a picnic spread! Squealing you leapt wrapping your arms around his human half embracing him with pure joy.

“I saw you felt a little under the weather and I knew you’d love to visit your home tree.” Rohan mused as he lead you to sit down on the picnic cloth. Taking his time to kneel down and grab the bags he had strapped to his flanks, and before you eyes emerged all kinds of foods. All of your favorite dishes and deserts, even your favorite drinks!

A romantic lunch beneath your ginkgo tree with Rohan was an item you’d had on the bucket list for a long time. No matter the wish Rohan always strives to make yours come true, and you couldn’t ask for a better partner. Afterwards you and Rohan playfully played under the tree even rolling in its crinkly leaves.

Years later Rohan would show you a drawing he’d made of that day. A day where joy shone in your eyes and your cheeks burned red with glee, and a day that Rohan fell even more in love with you. A day to celebrate and remember.

You loved to scare your boyfriend. He always made this little funny shriek when something caught him off guard! So while he was away you made big plans for a scare that you knew would scare him senseless!

Johnny hadn’t expected to come home to a fully decorated haunted house, and watched as fog crept out of the door of your house. He briefly contemplated turning around to avoid the fright he knew you had planned. Your undead status gave you a distinct upper hand over living peoples pranks.

His superior hearing couldn’t even hear a breathe nor heartbeat, and the creepy music made his hairs stand up. Creeping inside he was met with the strange scene of your dinner table littered with silver food covers.

Letting out a relieved chuckle wheeled closer to the table calling out, “This is a little obvious for you hon” An ominous giggle rang out from the table and Johnnys instincts kicked into overdrive. One by one he lifted the domes but instead of your head he was met with mouthwatering dish after dish.

Finally he reached the last and largest one yet when he yanked off the cover a paper laid there that said, “look up.” As soon as his head cranes up he shrieked as your head came swinging down cackling with glee. His heart pounded and he pouted up at you playfully breathing, “god you’re such an ass.”

He always expected the scare to be obvious and then got the wits scared out of him at the end. You couldn’t help but laugh as Johnny clutched his heart before calling your body from the other room. Your fingers nimbly undoing the straps that allowed you to swing down, and you quickly made sure to snap your head back on.

On any living creature Johnnys voice would have a trance effect and his scream would’ve deafened you. Your undead status protected you from any effects cause by a sirens power therefore making scares fair game! Johnny loved the anticipation and you loved to see him startled by yet another prank you’d pulled off!

You both chuckled before taking a seat at the dinner table to enjoy the food Johnny had slowly uncovered. Making idle chatter Johnny listened as you explained the mechanics that went into the he prank. In turn Johnny told you how he’d accidentally charmed coworker Diego at the Steel Ball Ranch.

Your witch was honestly starting to piss you off a little bit. They knew your contract required you to have full moons off for very specific reasons! Who wanted to spend time with their boss when they could be with their very loving partner?!

If the witch held you any longer you’d honestly think about grabbing some cyanide for their evening tea. But noooo they had insisted on your assistance with some magic that’d be strongest on the full moon. Never again.

By the time you finally managed to escape your witch the moon sat heavily in the sky, nearing its apex. Racing home you pulled into the driveway only to be knocked down as soon as you hopped out. A large bristling figure growling menacingly above you that you didn’t hesitate to growl back at.

An excited whine greeted you as the figure started showering wet kisses down onto your face. Laughing you pushed them off and looked over to see your boyfriends transformed form play bowing happily. He always loved taking this form and playing with you, and honestly you loved it too.

With a grin you shifted into your true form the equally giant form of a hell hound. Returning his play bow you chased him around the yard, paws scorching the earth black where they touched. Bounding back and forth playing heartily as the moon made its journey across the sky.

Finally you laid panting against the ground feeling once more like the puppy you had been hundreds of years ago. Joseph snuffled your ear and nuzzled happily into your side as you watched the moon.

Soon her journey would end and she’d take your boyfriends true form with it. Once again you’d have to wait until the next full moon to play with him. Both of you ran abnormally hot so the chilled fall air didn’t bother you, even as he started to transform back.

A horrible and painful transformation that he always said your natural heat eased. So you wrapped yourself around him tightly and hoped his muscles would relax further and make it easier.

He laid there panting with exhaustion but he still gazed up at you with such loving eyes. So you chose to lay there with him and watch the sunrise. Basking in one another’s presence you’d never forget the hundreds of sunsets you’d watched with him.

I know this is lengthy and rough but I’m back! Welcome all new and old!

“I’d like to open our relationship.”

He’d been thinking about popping the question for weeks. Every emotion had raced through him which in turn make his heart thump with the intensity of an earthquake. Hot Pants had often asked concerned if he was feeling alright when he tried to ask the question before. He loved Hot Pants like he loved no other in his life, and they shed a genuine light in his dark life. What if they said no? Left him in the bed he made with just one sentence?

“This is about Johnny and Gyro isn’t it.”

His mouth opened and closed a fish struggling on land, how’d they know? Maybe he hadn’t been so secret in his longing of the other couple, or maybe Hot Pants had overheard him mumbling? The calm look in Hot Pants eyes told him they’d know this for a long time. Maybe since the beginning? He struggled to bring any words out of his mouth other than a single, “how?” He honestly didn’t expect the deep chuckle that bubbled out of Hot Pants, the chuckle that always sent a sweet zing down his spine.

The look they leveled him with made him feel like a rabbit before the gaping jaw of a wolf, helpless. Humming they simply purred, “I see the way you look at Johnny darling, it’s very obvious when you get attached to something.” He nearly flushed from root tip to collarbone at their tone and words, before gaining composure with a startled cough. Maybe he’d need to work on his poker face after all-

“So you’re not upset?” Diego hesitantly asked peering up through the thick blonde lashes Hot Pants loved so much. Reaching out and twirling a golden lock around their hand Hot Pants simply hummed, “No dear I’m not upset and I think it could very interesting.” Leaning into their touch he simply asked, “interesting?” Leaning in Hot Pants pecked a kiss upon the lock between their fingers smirking, “The way Johnny looks at you eyeing you like the finest meal he’s ever seen. The way Gyro has been sneaking me glances when he thinks I can’t see. Oh of course it’s going to be very interesting.” Diego realized that maybe everything had played into Hot Pants palm just perfectly.

After some more talking through the night Hot Pants decided to be the one to ask Johnny and Gyro. So Hot Pants invited the couple to have dinner at their place, a special treat. Diego cooked his mothers homemade stew and Hot Pants made fresh bread, a dinner to die for. When their guests finally arrived they were met with nervous joy from Diego and an almost cocky grin from Hot Pants. What were these two up two Gyro couldn’t help but wonder. He’d never seen Hot Pants look so satisfied, except when they announced their partner was Diego Brando. He remembered the day that everyone had just stared in shock as Hot Pants passionately kissed their boyfriend. He’d lost a 5 year bet and $50 that Hot Pants would end up old, single, and surrounded by cats that day.

Dinner went fantastic and Johnny sang praises over the stew, while Gyro and Hot Pants moved into the living room. Johnny and Diego swapped cooking tips while Gyro and Hot Pants teased back and forth about childhood memories. The evening was turning out fantastic and everyone grew closer. At night they all gathered in the living room wine glasses in hand and hearty laughs all around. When all of a sudden Hot Pants set her hand on Diego’s knee, it was the signal. Not even sparing a second Hot Pants announced, “All right let me get to the real reason we asked you here today. If you’re uncomfortable with what I’m about to ask feel free to leave and we’ll never speak of it again.”

Gyro could feel his curiosity itching at his skin before he caved and asked, “what’s the question?” Leaning forward Hot Pants flashed a confident smile and revealed, “How about we combine our relationships? Obviously there’s some tension between the four of us, and honestly Diego and I are interested in pursuing it.” Johnny couldn’t believe the words out of Hot Pants mouth, and his face flushed as he flickered his gaze back and forth. Hadn’t he and Gyro just had this conversation about two months ago? He honestly hadn’t expected them to pop the question first, much less Hot Pants!

Late into the night they talked endlessly about how’d work, who’d date who, and so on. In the end they agreed to a few dates sprinkled out between they weren’t working. Hot Pants surprised Gyro with a reservation for the restaurant Tonio’s, know for its 2 year long waiting lists. When he gaped at them wondering how they got tickets, Hot Pants simply winked and insinuated the owner owed them. During the dinner they talked about a great many things ranging from medicine to HPs time as a nun. Both finding themselves more and more smitten, and by the end of the night they shared a sweet kiss.

Diego made sure to take Johnny somewhere he’d enjoy, the park. He made sure to carefully prepare every thing for lunch, and cashed in a favor for one of Hot Pants famous desserts. Even making sure to insure Johnnys wheelchair could get to the location with little to no incidents. As a perfectionist he couldn’t let a single hair be out of place, and he also wanted Johnny to be happy on their date. With everything perfect, the weather sunny, and the basket in hand he went to pickup Johnny. Their evening went perfect. Down to every last morsel of food, every star in the sky twinkled before them, and the kiss they shared rocked the world. A kiss with someone you’ve been longing after is a whole different kind.

As time went on they grew closer and closer, moving in together, buying pets, and having the most healthy fulfilling relationships of their lives. While they had their ups and downs it never went more than a few hours unresolved. Some of their families protested, especially Hot Pants, but they didn’t care because they were in love. A burning hot inseparable love. Years later when they’d recall those first dates it’d be with a softness echoes in every inch of their body.

Their relationship might be called strange or unnatural by others, but for them it was as natural as breathing.
