🔴 BREAKING: According to The Telegraph (Aug 21, 2025), famine has officially been declared in Gaza for the first time by the UN-backed IPC.

While Israel prepares to destroy what remains of Gaza City, families here are being torn apart by hunger, destruction, and despair.

My own family is among those suffering, with nothing left to survive on.

A pregnant woman’s plea for help from genocide, hunger, and displacement.

Hasn’t Israel had enough of killing us as civilians? It has killed us thousands of times through bombing and starvation ⁉️

After two years of genocide and hunger, we are now being told to flee to the south. Oh God, I am in my last month of pregnancy — if we are forced to evacuate, how can I walk in this condition?

There are no means of transportation, and if any exist, they are unaffordable. The little donations we receive are barely enough for food. But if we are forced to move, they will demand an impossible amount — 4,000 shekels (1,700 USD) just to escape.

We have no strength left from the lack of food, and the situation is unbearable.

When will we live like the rest of the world? When will we return to life before October 7, 2023? We once had homes, stability, and comfort. Today, we are struggling only to survive.

Please don’t look away. Please stand with us, share our voices, and help us hold on to life.

There's more details in my previous post abt this, but im taking care of a loved one with cancer, who started chemo last week. I am the main provider and I've not been able to work much lately between all of the caretaking, housekeeping, and being disabled myself.

Her insurance is trying to deny her coverage, and we can't afford bills this month, her next treatment copay, or really much at all. Right now, we urgently need about $900 to cover all of our immediate needs. Can't stress enough her case is treatable, insurance is just evil and there are a lot of extraneous costs involved in chemo.

🕊 Nadin’s Hope: A Mother, A Memory, A Future

Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.

I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.

Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.

On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.

We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.

A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.

Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.

Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.

The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.

Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.

We Don’t Know What Comes Next There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.

Last night was terrifying beyond words.

The explosions were so loud, it felt like our ears would burst.

The ground shook violently.

Our hearts were pounding like they would explode from our chests.

They bombed a UN-run health clinic right next to us.

There were displaced families inside, and dozens of tents around it.

People were given just 20 minutes to evacuate and run for their lives.

It was a nightmare. Most left behind the few belongings they had and fled in panic.

Death was breathing just steps away.

Even places that are supposed to be safe are being destroyed.

The war is intensifying, and so is the hunger.

We’re not just hungry, we’re starving.

What you hear in the media about aid reaching Gaza is a cruel illusion.

Trying to reach even a loaf of bread can cost your life.

Prices are beyond reason, and there’s barely anything left to buy.

Gaza is being slowly strangled.
