Any Day, Happy Day!
33K posts
Any day can be a happy day when we can be silly and laugh and love. And smash the system. Queer as fuck! No apologies. ♥

there is no way to demand power that does not read as 'violent' to those who already have power and enforce it with violence. there is no way to ask nicely for the wealthy to give up their wealth, for the cops to get their boots off necks, for the government to stop deporting people.

Remember kids, getting arrested to fill up jails and overwhelm the system was an effective tactic 60 years ago.
Now, though, Los Angeles has a prison skyscraper downtown, and the carceral state would love nothing more than to take you off the street and force you into years of prison labor.
Cover your face, be smart about what you post, and don't get arrested if you can help it.

it makes me sad the way cis women are so terrified of and disgusted by their own body hair. and i'm not talking "i have to shave for sensory reasons" i mean i keep seeing videos of women using hair identifier spray on their faces and hands so they can shave the tiniest barely-there bits of peach fuzz that came free with their bodies. hair that serves a purpose and that purpose is cleanliness and protection. i mean when i was in elementary school girls who had barely hit puberty were talking about shaving their arms. i mean full-grown adult women who will have a breakdown if they see two days of stubble on their legs/crotch/ jaw/pits because god forbid you don't look like a perfect plastic barbie doll. god forbid your body that keeps you alive comes with hair that may not be soft and glossy and photogenic. some women are so afraid of having any hair apart from their head and eyebrows that they've uno reversed themselves into six different kinds of gender dysphoria that they can't recognize as such because they're convinced that this unnatural state of highly-groomed capital-informed beauty is how women have always been. you're so scared of looking "gross" or "ugly" or "mannish" that you can't even look at your body in the mirror and recognize what it is. sister you are an ape. why are you so determined to deny your nature.

There have been multiple reports from activists that ICE is targeting Phoenix, Arizona next. They’re planning on targeting places of employment. If you may be a target, get a power of attorney put in place to handle your affairs like moving your car and maintaining your property if you are detained. They can also access your bank for access to money for immigration attorneys- In the state of AZ POA needs to be notarized.
Look up pro bono attorneys now.
The heat is our best defense. They will be in full armor. Get your cool tech black bloc clothes NOW. Buy your water and supplies NOW.
There are long sleeve black shirts from brands like Speedo that are SPF50 and can be soaked in water for extra cooling.

Critical Mass is a map-drawing game inspired by Avery Alder’s The Quiet Year, Ben Auden Roswell’s War in the Year 3000, and the anonymous rebels who change the world every day. In the game, players take turns drawing cards, answering questions, and adding to a shared map as they speculate what will happen during and after a night of rioting.
This game is in-development. Feedback appreciated. Pay what you want.

As crazy as this video already is, it only shows one part of a much larger battle.
The Sanrizuka Crossroads engagement shown in the video is organized and led by the legendary Chūkaku-ha, the Revolutionary Communist League National Committee (革命的共産主義者同盟全国委員会). You can identify their student-fighters by their iconic white safety helmets with the marking 中核 (Central Core), their motorcycle goggles, white face masks, and Molotov cocktails.
As the Chūkaku-ha was fighting riot police back at the crossroads, the actual Narita Airport was attacked by another army! The Kakurōkyō, the Revolutionary Labourers Association (革命的労働者協会). While the Chūkaku-ha student shock troops drew police attention to Sanrizuka, the Kakurōkyō adopted more guerrilla-like tactics to sneak into the heavily defended airport.
At 5:00 pm, 40 min after the crossroads battle began, they burned the trains in Narita station, then lit up huge fires around the airport to obstruct the landing and takeoff of aircraft. 5:30 pm. Kakurōkyō members disguised as taxi drivers and travellers started a fire in the airport terminal. Airport authorities of course called the fire department.
This is the craziest part of the story: The Kakurōkyō had prepared a fake firetruck and fire command car! And the fake firetruck had a fucking FLAMETHROWER disguised as the water hose!
A band of forlorn hope, dressed in firefighter uniforms, sneaked into the airport along with real firefighters. They shattered the windows on the control towers with pachinko ball shotguns, then planned on setting the entire control tower on fire, destroying the airport. However, their homemade flamethrower, as bad ass as it was, broke down at the last minute. The Narita Airport, although temporarily put out of operation, was saved from the worst outcome.
Officially known as the 20 October Narita Local Conflict (10.20成田現地闘争), the leftists preferred to call it the Uprising of ‘85 (85年蜂起戦). This is the last major battle in the “Narita Problem” that has haunted Japan’s government since 1966.
Japan’s National Police Agency was utterly humiliated as their riot police was not only pushed back at Sanrizuka but almost lost the entire airport. The mighty Chūkaku-ha, however, was also hit hard with hundreds arrested. It would never regain its former strength.
241 protesters were arrested. 16 of its leaders later convicted. Multiple injured No one was killed
