SURE enough, the man was relaxing once again as if recovering from an all-nighter, like someone told him to vacation as if his life depended upon it. Frankly, Koby could only admire him for it, knowing that strength was what afforded him such a luxury of time and… naps, anywhere and anytime that he pleased. One could only hope the young Captain would achieve a similar level someday in the future. Following the gesture, he handed over the bottle of tea before taking a seat on the sand. It was cool, but probably not quite to the Admiral’s preference.

“ Ah, well… ” he chuckled softly, eyes trailing out to the ocean a bit, a blush of embarrassment rising to his cheeks. “ I asked myself where a nice place to relax away from people might be. There’s only a few really good spots around here, after all. ” Here, the sound of ocean waves lapping upon smooth sand, a soft breeze rustling large palm leaves, the occasional call of a gull – it was idyllic.

“ I, um, w-wanted to ask you one thing if you don’t mind… ”

the admiral reaches up to grab the bottle between large hands . he swifts in his seat and sits on the edge of the chair , feet facing koby as he sat down on the sand . one hand holds the bottle while the other turns the lid to take it off , placing it somewhere by his side so he could take a sip of the tea . the other’s companion was quite pleasant and in fact , he didn’t mind . . . the explanation sounded reasonable enough and to be honest , he couldn’t deny the fact that place did seem like somewhere he would go . ❜ you should try taking a break once in a while after your training . don’t worry  —  i’m won’t be tellin’ garp ❜ .  there he goes on his path to bring more sympathizers of his self proclaimed lazy justice .

the white v-neck shirt exposed the scars all the way down to his neck and the long trench coat hid the ones along his arms  —  kuzan wasn’t bothered by marks  ,  they were quite evident and you didn’t have to step close enough to notice  .  there was one however  ,  a several injury left by sakazuki  ,  that very few ( if anyone ) knew about : part of his left leg  ,  kept hidden under the black trousers and by his boots and now replaced by a prosthesis made out of ice that was still incomplete and rather painful  ,  one that he couldn’t bear longer than a few hours straight  .  laughter made itself audible and the man couldn’t help but shake his head by listening to those words . . . ‘ nico robin  ,  you’ve changed  ‘ was his thought  as curious hues watch from behind the sunglasses  ,  hands resting by the side of his body  .  the man didn’t move an inch as she stepped closer and closer and brows rose in surprise from the request to lean down  .  a nod of his head  — a positive answer to the question  .  a sigh escapes from his lips and he sits down on the floor  ,  legs crossed in attempt to hide his left leg  .  being tall as he was  ,  his head was still at her eye level from doing so  .

MAIN VERSE : I’M STILL ME 

After Sengoku resigned, Kuzan was heavily opposed to Akainu becoming the new fleet admiral & fought against him for the position, despite not being fully interested in it himself. He ended up losing after 10 days of intense fighting, which caused him severe injuries & plenty of scars all over his body, resulting in Kuzan leaving the Marines. He had joined the Revolutionary Army and is currently working undercover for Dragon and that is the reason why he became affiliated with Blackbeard. 

VERSE I: ADMIRAL AOKIJI

Kuzan is an admiral and goes under the alias of Aokiji.  Mostly takes part in the events pre-timeskip in which the fight against Akainu never happened. 

VERSE II: BLUE PHEASANT

Kuzan is no longer an admiral nor has any affiliation with other organizations. He’s a traveler and walks along with Camel, his traveling companion, visiting islands and looking for his own sense of justice.
