Im pissed about voltron so i typed up a quick fix it

A while after allura’s death, keith shows up to surprise lance on his farm. Lance sees him coming across the field and realizes keith’s mullet has been chopped off. He makes a joke about the missing mullet, keith laughs and touches his new hair self consciously. Lance smiles softly and says for real though it looks good on you. They make their way inside lance’s home and lance makes them some coffee and the two catch up. They talk for hours about the good ol days before keith realizes its gotten pretty late. He starts to head for the door before he hears lance say “wait.” He turns around and lance says “we should do this more often, its nice having someone around.” They share a soft smile “yeah, definitely. See you lance.” Lance says “later mullet, huh i guess i’ll have to come up with another nickname.” Keith says “guess so.” And waves goodbye to lance. They keep in constant contact after that, keith comes over often and lance sometimes makes them dinner and they just talk for hours on end about everything and nothing. Lance gets up to go to the bathroom and when he comes back he doesnt find keith where he left him, he does a little search around the house then goes outside and calls for keith. Keith gives a little “up here” and lance spots him on the roof. Lance makes his way up to join him and sits down next to him. They watch as the sun starts to set. Keith chuckles a little bit “I just got a bit of deja vu just now” lance softly sighs and says “yeah me too.” Keith turns a little to face Lance more, they lock eyes. Keith smiles and says “I need to tell you something, and no matter how you react to this i don’t want things to change from this. Friends, rivals, teammates, it doesnt matter I want to be a part of your life.” Lance tucks part of his hair behind his ear “o-okay.. what is it?” Keith smiles “I love you, lance.” Lance sucks in a tiny bit of air and looks down, “i… i think i have feelings for you too, but… I’m not ready yet. Allura… she was my everything-is my everything. And even though she’s gone… i know she would want me to be happy.” Lance smiles and places his hand on top of keith’s, “i’d like to pursue a future with you, i just need a little time to adjust.” Keith scoots a bit closer “we’ve got all the time in the universe.” They turn back to the sunset, slowly lance lowers his head to keith’s shoulder, theyre hands still together. Keith rests his head on top of lance’s and they both close their eyes. Lance thinks to himself although this wasn’t what he originally thought he wanted, maybe it’s what he needed. After all, he did say keith was the future.

what if steve has bucky’s dog tags. 

what if he and bucky traded dog tags before bucky fell.

what if bucky fell into the ice wearing steve’s name around his neck, right over his heart. what if the hydra crew that recovered him found them, cut them off his neck, not caring where the metal had frozen to his skin. what if there are still marks on bucky’s skin from the place where the tags used to lie but now they’re gone, long gone, thrown out and forgotten in some old hydra base while the people taking bucky apart knew they’d found someone important after all, someone important enough to wear steve rogers’ name around his neck.

what if when steve wakes up seventy years in the future, the only things in the world that are his are the shield and the tags with bucky’s name, only they don’t say bucky, they say james barnes and threetwofivefiveseven and the preferred relative spot is left completely blank, because they wouldn’t let bucky use steve’s name.

what if, when bucky says, later, prove it—prove you’re my friend, prove i was who you say i am, prove i’m anything but the gunmetal in my mouth and the slaughter to my name—steve just reaches up and removes the dog tags from around his neck and presses them, gently, into bucky’s open palm.

Honestly something that bothers me more than most things is having my compassion mistaken for naivety.

I know that another fish might eat this bullfrog right after I spend months rehabilitating it.

I know that turning a beetle back onto its legs won’t save it from falling over again when I walk away.

I know that there is no cosmic reward waiting for my soul based on how many worms I pick off a hot sidewalk to put into the mud, or how many times I’ve helped a a raccoon climb out of a too-deep trashcan. 

I know things suffer, and things struggle, and things die uselessly all day long. I’m young and idealistic, but I’m not literally a child. I would never judge another person for walking by an injured bird, for ignoring a worm, or for not really caring about the fate of a frog in a pond full of, y’know, plenty of other frogs.

There is nothing wrong with that.

But I cannot cannot cannot look at something struggling and ignore it if I may have the power to help.

There is so much bad stuff in this world so far beyond my control, that I take comfort in the smallest, most thankless tasks. It’s a relief to say “I can help you in this moment,” even though they don’t understand.

I don’t need a devil’s advocate to tell me another fish probably ate that frog when I let it go, or that the raccoon probably ended up trapped in another dumpster the next night.

I know!!!! I know!!!!!!! But today I had the power to help! So I did! And it made me happy!

So just leave me alone alright thank u!!!!

So what do you think of Bakugou and Midoriya's relationships? You've finally watched/read BnHA and I cant help but wonder about your meta!! (Gotta go away from Kaneki harem mood lmao)

I wanted to write a meta about those two for a while, so thank youfor giving me a push in that direction :D There’s a lot that can besaid about them, so prepare for a lengthy reply. 

Disclaimers: this post is meant as an analysis of theirdynamic, not something written to condone Bakugou for his (franklyshitty) behaviour or to make excuses for him. It will touch uponcomplicated feelings and unsolved issues (you all know which ones),so if you’re not comfortable with that kind of topics, I advise youstop reading here. 

As a side note, please keep in mind that I will discuss the mangaas a whole, so for those who only follow the anime, BEWARE OF THEMANGA SPOILERS AHEAD.

So, without further ado, let’s dig into it!

1. Necessary introduction: differences in approaches.

First and foremost, something that needs to be addressed is theopposite way in which Midoriya and Bakugou deal with strongemotions. 

Midoriya is the type who wears his heart on his sleeve: when he’ssad, he’s not afraid of crying; when he’s happy, he vibrates withhis whole body; when he’s got a problem with someone, he alwaystries to address it and talk it out. Midoriya is not afraid of hisemotions, and instead wears them as a weapon. He’s in control ofthem. 

Bakugou, on the other hand, has never known how to deal with them.When Bakugo feels, he always feels strongly (even more so thanMidoriya, perhaps). He doesn’t do anything half-heartedly, not evenemotions.  

So he chooses avoidance. He ignores his feelings, shoves them deep into a recess of his mind not to think about them, and tries to move on. But all those pent-up emotions wear him down on the long run, manifesting as frustration the longer he doesn’t do anything about them, and that frustration festers until it manifests as rage. 

While Midoriya prefers a more straightforward approach, Bakugou has never been able to follow. So venting became his coping mechanism, because he didn’t know how to properly talk things out with Deku. 

2. Before Midoriya acquired a Quirk.

I said that Bakugou doesn’t know how to follow, but it’s actually more complicated than that. In a sense, it’s almost like Bakugou is scared of, intimidated by the ease with which Midoriya seems to be in touch with his emotions. 

Quirkless, “useless” Deku is always the first torush in headfirst into trouble to “save” Kacchan. 

That, the selfless drive to just dive into danger to help someoneelse, is perhaps the only hero skill that Bakugou lacks.Remember the provisional licence arc and how Bakugou failed the exam?He failed because he rescued no one. I mean, that is not tosay that he doesn’t have it in him to become a great hero. But tohim, heroics is all about raw strength, and how that’s the onlynecessary tool to defeat villains. 

So how does this come into play with his relationship withMidoriya? The answer is his inferiority complex.
