Selene stood by the ocean waiting for Grimsley.

She looked up at the moon.

"I wonder why he asked me to meet him here at the beach where we first met... "

She heard footsteps come near her on the sandy beach.

"Happy Valentine's day my dear!" Grimsley smiled as he handed Selene a large bouquet of black roses.

Selene's eyes widened.

"This is so-" tears caught in her eyes.

"That is not all." Grimsley smiled.

He went down on one knee and pulled out a box from his pocket.

She gasped.

"The moon light is glowing in the dark. Just as you have been in my life. I am the Dark and you are my moon. You made me want to live again after loosing everything. You were always here for me. I... I can't live without you."

Grimsley eyes watered.

"Will you marry me?"

Selene smiled as tears went down her face.

"Yes." She said so lovingly as she embraced him.

The moonlight felt so perfect as they held hands walking down the beach.
