HER PALM MET HER FOREHEAD, AND HER FINGERS RAN THROUGH HER HAIR AS SHE PROCESSED THE INFORMATION. Her eyebrows furrowed in thought, then she shook her head.
"I have not passed, I am not dead," she denied at last, with narrowed eyes. "I-- . . . I cannot be. I can-" It wasn't a possibility she thought of, nor was something she wanted to consider. This couldn't be. It couldn't . . . ! "This world--though, it feels different--feels real. A ghost cannot interact with the material plane the same way as I do now. So it cannot be that--" She cut herself off mid-speech, her gaze suddenly downcast. "I mentioned a jutsu before," she said to herself more than Yusuke. "But. . ." No, that answer didn't make sense.
Last time she checked, nobody in the world existed with a teleportation jutsu. Tobirama and his brother were strong and fast naturally, so much so that the Uchiha were jealous and tried to copy it for their own purposes. However, the Senju brothers didn't teleport as the rumors said. They just happened to be so quick that they seemingly vanished from thin air. Even Yuria, for all of her chakra-enhancement, had trouble keeping up at times.
'Tobirama . . . '
She hoped he was okay--wherever he was.
After a minute of silent deliberation, she spoke up again with a snap of her fingers. "You," she addressed him again. "Young man. I will show you why your theory is implausible if you tell me how you qualify as an authority on my case." She shouldn't do this, but seeing as how she had nobody else she knew in this place, she decided to.
"Where I come from, if someone dies, that is the end. Though there is talk is an afterlife of sorts." She raised her hand, flexed her fingers for emphasis. "I would not be able to do this if I was there, nor would I be able to cut myself and bleed." She stared at her hand, as if contemplating if she should. Her intuition told her it was not needed. "Ghosts have no body, so there is no blood to be shed." She kept looking at it with a subtle sense of hesitancy. Was she unsure of what she was saying?
"So I cannot be," she continued. "Or else, or... Or else--" She failed him, and that would mean Tobirama's dead too. "I disappointed my village," she decided to say, because anything else would be too much. Her hand trembled, her mouth felt dry and so did her bottom lip. Failure as a ninja wasn't looked upon favorably--especially not to the family she was loyal to, and would die for . . . .
The longer she stared at him, the more she was reminded of HASHIRAMA SENJU.
That man was something of a jokester as well (minus the curious hands of course). He thought laughter was the best medicine to most cases, something Yuria couldn't exactly agree with, considering their world was drenched in constant conflict and war. Something about the older man's personality read as juvenile to her. Unlike Yuria, Tobirama was unafraid to tell it to his face-- perhaps, that's why she took the second brother over the first. They were too similar, but Yuria understood why. The man who raised him didn't allow for smiles or laughter. Living in that household was the same thing as eating a flavorless bowl of soup. No wonder why Hashirama turned out the way he did. If Butsuma-san stayed around longer, would she eventually break down and become similar to Hashi?
The thought made her shudder. She hoped not.
Though, at the mention of his previous job-- she stored the information away for later-- she did FINALLY relax a little. It made her feel better that she wasn't talking to a complete idiot or a civilian. (What did he mean by 'complex situations like this'? She'd have to ask later). With a sigh, she chewed on her lower lip and looked away from him. She's already told him she's from another world. Another era, it felt like. Everything else she was tight-lipped about, because she wasn't sure if he was able to handle the information or help her. (That, and she forgot a lot of it). But since she's been here for a couple of weeks, she felt comfortable to share another piece of herself. This world was still strange to her.
Her hands gripped both biceps and she nearly bit her lip hard enough to draw blood. So much for relaxing. "He tried to save me but I pushed him away because I wished to save him. I threw down a smoke bomb as a distraction but everything after that is sadly, still a blur. I believe now that the bomb itself mixed with someone's Jutsu, which explains why I couldn't fight back. Why I was clean. The effect which sent me here, somehow. My friend and I were ambushed."

{{ So, for this blog, I just need to put some specific verse information up and then get RP things started! Yay! I sent out some asks today, so any replies I get will be done soon. Aside from verses, I just need to do a lore page for the Naruto stuff-
Until then, if you have any questions about anything (Naruto or Demon Slayer or whatever else related) just shoot me a DM! I'll also make a starter + plot call soon!

{{ Ghost!Yuria will eventually move on. But, I want it to be a slow-burn thing. Anyway-- I know her uh, stat page is very bleak. Much more morbid than anything I've written in RP so far. This is closer to my true writing style/story preference, but don't think this is all I write! I know I put this in my rules anyway but I just want to make sure I'm well understood. This is the darkest you'll witness me in RP. Some of my writings will get worse. When it does, I'll throw out some fluff and light hearted stuff to keep a good balance.

CONFUSION CLAIMED HER FACE.
Yoko-- what?
"What a strange name for a hidden village," she told him casually. She dropped her hand, and tried looking around again. Alas, she recognized nothing. This place had trees, concrete, animals, buildings. . . a thought entered her mind; I don't think the materials these buildings are made with are conducive to walking and jumping on them.
On her right arm was a headband protector. The silver metal didn't display the village she was from but the clan her loyalty lied with: the Senju. She was considered an honorary one. They adopted her, clothed her, fed her, taught her how to fight. . . (There was a stutter between his last question and her eventual answer. Instead of responding right away, she looked at her hands. She turned them this way and that, as if looking at them would jog her memory, but the only thing that came to mind was a man. One she had a nagging feeling she knew, with white hair and red eyes).
HER HANDS LOWERED AND LOOKED AT THE MAN.
"A friend of mine. But I- I can't remember the place in which we stood. He told me to wait right there but . . . " Her eyebrows fell in thought. She patted herself down, unmarred hands to unsoiled clothes. Was she searching for something? There was nothing of note, aside from the scrolls strapped to her sides, the chain of kunai attached to the undersides of her left wrist guard, the hidden, charged explosive tags fixed to the right wrist guard and the poisonous lipstick she wore. (It was chakra activated, luckily). The woman in varying shades of midnight blue and royal purple sighed in frustration after she failed to find what she was looking for. She did a mini twirl for good measure, finally finding "it". She picked it up from the ground as it lazily laid next to her open-toed shinobi sandals and presented it to him. It was a tiny, black spherical object, also chakra activated.
"The light was partially caused by this." She deposited it into her back pocket. "I'm always using my smoke bombs-- I failed to understand how loud they were until today," again, she spoke to him casually as if he'd know what she's talking about. "Oh," she said, after she gave him a once over-- like looking at him truly for the first time. "You're probably a civilian. Ah, then gomen." She placed her hands together in front of her face and bowed her head slightly. "If you could just point me in the direction of your village's leader, that'd be nice. I need to sort this issue out on my own if you're not of clearance. I can't disclose what I know so easily." She would've started walking off without him, but well-- she didn't know where she was even though she said it. The shriek of a child laughing made her flinch and her fist clench. She turned her head behind just as quickly to the source and relaxed upon seeing a sight that should've been heartwarming; a little girl playing catch with a bouncy ball with their parents.
The children are happy here? Alive?
Oh, but of course. These were civilian children, not ninja. Still, it took her a minute to actually unclench her fists and steady her breathing. Of course the children are alive. She looked forward once more, as if nothing happened.

"You, young man. Tell me where I am. I seem to be lost." The source of the voice came from a woman; she possessed bright green eyes that contrasted with brown skin. Her full lips were pulled into a subtle frown. She turned her head turned every which way, trying to recognize the 'hidden village' she found herself in. The last thing she remembered was. . . well, that was just it. She couldn't remember. The toned woman frowned deeper, and rubbed at one of her temples. {{ long story short Yuria is Not Where She's Supposed To Be. I guess we can this is Pre-Marriage to Tobirama or whatever??? LMAO anyway here take this. This is the best I could come up with 😭 *flies off to do the rule and character bio pages*

“Huh?” Yusuke asked as he stepped closer, his hands were tucked into the pockets of his pants as he examines her face..no one familiar in the slightest and she seemed lost..but how could she be here in Yokohama and not know where she was? This wasn’t the airport and they were nowhere near the harbor so it wasn’t like she came out of a plane or ship…and she seemed clean, when he scoped her out she was not dirty nor were her clothes ruffled so there wasn’t a struggle which means she wasn’t abducted either.
Tumblr media
That’s the last time he actually does ‘detective’ work. “You’re in Yokohama, public park. I came here following rumors of a light around here…guess that was you.” If THAT was the case, does that means this is a yokai from Makai? Hrmm still wouldn’t kill him to try and find out. “So..what’s the last thing you remembered before you were..well here?”

The woman raised an eyebrow and suppressed-- somehow-- a scoff. Guilty eyes looked elsewhere, as if not wanting to admit he had hit the mark when it came to her. " . . . Silence, you."

THE CASE OF LADY (???) SECOND THE WAILING GHOST WOMAN.
Tumblr media
Name: Yuria Senju (neé Akase).
Parents: Shou (father; deceased), Haruka Akase (mother; deceased), unnamed cousins (deceased), unborn sibling(s?) (deceased).
Age: Verse dependent.
[Warring States Era (Pre-Konoha)]: 7-17.
[Founding States Era (Konoha's Founding)]: 17-37.
[As a Ghost (Part I and II applicable)]: Sightings report her appearing as a woman in her late thirties, early fourties.
Sex: Female.
Orientation/Persuasion: Not enough records survive. A prototype of today's marriage certificate was found, linking her to Tobirama Senju, though it is mostly burned. Konoha's finest can't ascertain the reason why. Nonetheless, theories persist. (The most famous one being that it was a preventative measure to keep her identity safe from enemies of Lord Second).
Height: 5'11".
Blood type: Not enough records survive. Estimated to be B or AB based on the process of elimination. Despite the lack of living Akase family members, Yuria's matrilineal origins were traced back to a group of nomads who originated from what would become Sungakure, The Hidden Sand Village. Consistent patterning within their haplogroup points towards a propensity towards B and AB blood types. It is unanimously concluded to be the cause of her dark skin.
Appearance: She was a brown-skinned woman with long, dark brown hair that jutted out in points at the sides. Said points also framed her face. The texture was dense/fine (soft). Her eyes were a bright shade of green. Her body type was that of a toned, fit, pear-shaped woman who regularly exercised. She has a notable X-shaped scar on the left side of her face, which starts on her cheek and ends just above her chin. The lack of a complete corpse makes it inconclusive if she had any other scars, though it's safe to assume she had many.
Cause of death: Ruled a murder. Prime suspect has not been found, though it was suspected Lord Third may have had a clue. It may have also been more than one person than previously thought. Unfortunately, any important notes, scrolls or documents that would've helped in this investigation had been confiscated by two different sources: Orochimaru and Danzō Shimura. The first case is very distressing, as Orochimaru was caught red-handed experimenting on children. He is currently at large, being behind the invasion/interruption of the Chuunin Exams held at Konoha, which directly led to the death of Lord Third, and many ninja on both sides (Leaf and Sand). Danzō denies having any information on her, which makes no sense, considering he was a student of Lord Second. . .
Places of Hauntings: One of the last forests Tobirama fought in (Kinkaku Force conflict that he survived), the Hokage Building hallways (it is concluded to have something to do with either Lord Second or Third), the Hokage Building first and second floors (this collaborates with the information that something took place either in here or with an authority figure/someone of power), and Danzō's ANBU ROOT facility, which oddly enough-- cannot be fully confirmed nor denied, despite some of his soldiers confirming there have been 'odd happenings ever since it's creation'. Things like the lights flickering, things moving, high pitched whistling noises, LOUD knocking, clanging, and in the worse cases-- seeing someone walking through walls. The ninja (plural) who honestly answered these questions were found dead, next day. Again, Danzō claims to not know anything. Despite this suspicious scene, he appeared oddly calm, said he would perform a 'self-investigation', and provide a follow up report. There was no follow up.
SPECIAL NOTE: After Lord Third's death, ROOT is not available for further questioning anymore-- whether because it's leader realizes it's a bad look on him or because they are sworn under oath is not known. Regardless, there is no prime suspect, only a mounting body of evidence that someone knows what happened and won't tell.
Lesser known haunt places: enclosed spaces, stairwells, open plains of grass, parks and training grounds.
Noted Behavior: Children wail loudly in her presence, adults get chills down their spines and find it hard to speak (tongues feel heavy + mouth is dry), animals shriek unnaturally (especially the ones who shouldn't be able to scream) and run in the opposite direction. The areas she frequents are tainted by a dark, dense energy that causes depressive thinking and mental spirals. In the worse cases, standing in the same spot or area she does will cause the person to cough up blood. Almost as if she's punishing them. Or, showing them what happened to her.
A woman wailing uncontrollably, crying softly and/or sobbing have all been reported by non-ninja and civilians alike.
Chakra Release/Nature Affinity: She was noted by Lord Third to have a 'strange fondness' for not using elemental based attacks. Instead, she enhanced herself with chakra to mimic 'Lord Second's strength, and yet it wasn't enough. Still, I wonder if anyone has confused her for a Senju, before. If I didn't know her, I would have, based on how close she is with him. They're always together.'
Personality: "She was steadfast, and fierce like our enemy, the Senju. She must be one of them. Strange though, how we've never seen her before and yet, she feels familiar. Have I known her? I'm not sure. All I know is, this woman is no woman. She's something else, entirely. Never seen a Senju with dark skin before. Not aside from Butsuma Senju's boy-- and that's just stories I heard." --Unnamed Uchiha.
"This Yuria woman got stabbed through the shoulder, screamed and then flipped my brother over her other shoulder like she was an Oni. And then she slashed his throat with the kunai she was injured with. What the hell. . . ? What kind of monsters are those Senju housing?!" --An Uchiha who was killed shortly after.
"Checks out that the sad excuse of a woman is married to that white-haired bastard. Wouldn't be surprised if they were cousins or something. Who knows what that clan does to keep that monstrous strength within house . . ." --Kouta Uchiha [self-proclaimed Madara-aligned Uchiha].
SPECIAL NOTE #2: Keep in mind, the surviving records we have of her feats may be exaggerated or biased based on sour historical relations between the Uchiha and Senju. The image of her personality painted within these scrolls points towards a serious, somber person. Aggressive, determined, unrelenting. The study done on the body parts found which led to the discovery of her haplogroup (and subsequent research on the Akase's migration pattern) determines she had no family as they have been either taken, murdered, kidnapped or tortured by the Uchiha. Therefore, to rule out a personal vendetta against them wouldn't be out of the question. This explains why many of the Uchiha records and Lord Third's notes recognize her presence as unsual. This further explains her second surname and the burned/faded date on the 'certificate' found; confirming that she indeed did change her name to reflect marriage and that she was tied to Lord Second, intimately.
Conclusions/Final Notes: She was not a Senju by birth, and any implication otherwise is to be taken clan-profiling and ninja discrimination. Most likely, Yuria Akase was close enough to be socially considered a Senju. Perhaps she was inducted as an honorary one, formally adopted (as we would consider it today) or looked after. Perhaps there was a ritual? We're not sure, not unless those extra documents and scrolls are retrieved. Regardless, evidence now, though process of elimination points towards Butsuma Senju, his wife or father as the one who may have took her in. Thus, we have irrevocable proof that Konoha has had a "Lady Second."
She is a high match for the Wailing Ghost Woman currently haunting Konoha's lands.
Solution: We must solve the case of her murder and help her soul rest. It seems as if she is bound to the land and can't leave. If not, her spiritual power may get worse over time and someone could die.
Warning To All Ninja: DO NOT APPROACH RECKLESSLY IF SHE IS SPOTTED IN DAYLIGHT.
TO APPEASE HER/ESCAPE:
Do not look away first-- she is known to take this as a slight and will exert spiritual power. (There is a dense aura around her that is dark, dense, murderous).
If you have looked away first, apologize. Those who do not have reported mental spirals and physical sickness. Symptoms range from sneezing, head colds, nose bleeds and shortness of breath. The symptoms go away when the person sees a shaman, medic-ninja or steps into holy/consecrated grounds. (The holy grounds' power counteracts her own).
If you make eye contact with her, do not run. She will give chase and then the second bullet-point will happen.
If you hear her wailing, crying or sobbing, ask with genuine concern: "what is wrong?" If she is caught off guard, she'll run away. (You are to run away).
If you ask her and she sees/know you are coming and stands her ground, she will be overjoyed that someone can see and hear her, so she'll answer. However, if she senses you aren't taking her seriously, she'll turn hostile and the first bullet-point will happen.

plotted starter that was supposed to be a one liner (I don't know what happened 😭) @scarlxtleaves!
To see the spectre, Yuria Senju, was to accept an omen: a sign of impeding death. It was a warning. She could only be seen by those either on death's door or those who had near-death experiences already. She was rumored to be a demon or yokai of some sort-- one that haunted the crossroads, but neither was correct. In truth, Yuria was a betrayed woman-- murdered by her estranged husband's power-hungry, traitorous, snake of a student. Rage, disgust and vengeance hardened her heart so terribly she found herself unable to move on to the Pure Land. For years to come, she haunted the forests of her former ninja village, hoping to at least catch someone's attention. Hoping to have someone see her, hear her-- but no.
(Nothing happened. Nothing changed; the same man went on to commit the most heinous acts in Konoha's history, as of competing with Orochimaru for Most Disgusting Bastard Alive).
It broke her heart further, to see the great things Tobirama created fall into the hands of pure evil. It made her rage burn brighter. Her emotions, unregarded by a physical body condensed itself into a thicker aura around her. Menacing, threatening, murderous. No wonder why nobody could hear or see her. To make things worse, when people did start to see her, the results were disastrous. She was threatening. Truly, absolutely, honest-to-the-gods horrifying. Animals shrieked and ran away from her. Children became possessed by the ability to cry loudly until she passed. Adults had cold chills down their spines and lost the ability to speak. As much as it hurt her to admit, she had became a liability to the village she was born in, the village she was bound to. She had to LEAVE, and so she did.
. . .And now, she was here.
Tumblr media
The ghost of the woman with an X-shaped scar on her left cheek resided in the house of her son. True, Yuria did not give birth to him, she did not name him or raise him-- but should that matter? She claims him. In moments of darkness, she's provided useful advice. She's done her best to comfort him. She's guided him whenever he needed it. If it weren't for the fact that she laid in between worlds, she would hug him. Kiss his forehead. Tuck him in to sleep. At least she could sing him lullabies. At least she could tell him stories about her era, about the world she left behind-- about her time as a Wandering Ghost. About her time as "Beauty-Is-Death". She just wanted someone to listen to her. To hear her. To tell her that her pain was not deserved. He did all these things and more, so is it any wonder how she became attached to the man so quickly? His appearance helped him earn a spot in her heart as well, whether he knew it or not. Perhaps she should tell him the full story some day . . .? Tobirama had short, white hair too. They never got to have the "children" conversation. Never in a million years did she think she'd want one. And yet-- yet, here she was. Coddling a grown man just because she realized she indeed may have wanted one. . . Because she thought they looked similar enough.
"Ah," Yuria snapped herself out of her field of thoughts. "I'm sorry, my flashy prince," it was a nickname she gave him long ago due to his penchant for jewelry and bright colors. "I was just-- you. You look like him. Just a little bit. It always takes me aback." If it was possible for ghosts to blush, she might have. (Maybe she did). "You're such a handsome boy," she said after the flush died down, her translucent brown hands touching (hovering, really) over his cheeks. As if she wishes she could properly cup his face. "I'm so proud of you. You always do your missions well with a courageous smile on your face." She smiled at him, even if it hurt her to do so. She was a fry cry from the scary 'legend' she was made out to be. "I wish I could do that. Could you perhaps show me, my firework?"

RAN BY GUILLOTINA (Mun is 26+, She/her), amanmadeweapon has become #apathofviolence; an indie, low to medium activity, multi-muse blog with a Naruto bias. Canons (all except for one) in this universe are either slightly or highly canon-divergent due to the heavy headcanons and original lore accompanying them. There are 4 canons, 1 OC and a litter of NPCs created at the drop of a HAT for any and all threads, ready to be utilized to the fullest potential (assuming they live long enough for it).
The other canon muses, which are canon-divergent as well, comes from Demon Slayer (4) and RWBY (1), respectively.
The mun pulls from: the manga (and anime) of Naruto Part I and II, Japanese folklore, research concerning Japan's medical and fashion history, general fantasy settings including dark fantasy, gothic literature, media and music, japanese superstitions and cultural relations to the supernatural as well as classic horror tropes.
Minor influences are: TTRPGS (like Dungeons and Dragons) and board games (Lucidity, and Betrayal at the House on the Hill).
TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS || CARRD || LORE (not up yet; will come over time bc I have Too Much To Say™). || VERSES (WIP) || HEADCANONS.
Friendly to: Canons, Duplicates, AUs, Crossovers, 18+ stuff, OCs.
If you're interested in interacting with any number of my muses (or just one), kindly ❤️ or 🔄 !! Thanks in advance!

Headcanons-- Tobirama Edition.
Tumblr media
#1. When he was brought back though Orochimaru's Edo Tensei in Part I Naruto, he was an emotionless puppet. The reason for the lack of emotions was because he was brought back wrong. As the creator of the Jutsu, Tobirama is the only one who can use it correctly as it was meant to be used; psychological warfare paired with kamikaze attacks. Orochimaru programmed the dead Kages to fight Hiruzen, as he wanted to do the deed himself (killing Hiruzen). He also lacked the direct DNA of both Hashirama and Tobirama-- another hidden component to the jutsu. Therefore, while they were physically powerful (the bases used to summon them were the Sound Genin after all, Orochimaru's experiments), they were ultimately mindless and lacked strategy. They weren't lethal as they could be. If they were meant to be, that fight would have turned out a bit differently.
#2. In any situation where you request Ninja War Arc/2nd version Edo Tensei Tobirama, he will straight up tell you how it's supposed to work. He'll treat it like a fun fact (or 'unfun fact' considering he's being completely serious about it). This version of him has a personality because Kabuto + Orochimaru were able to use better materials. While still not close to the original way it was meant to be used, it was enough because Tobirama's actual soul was an active ingredient. This unfortunately counts as 'spiritual DNA.' While not programmed with any command, Tobirama was essentially brought back to life a second time as a highly intelligent zombie. But, because his personality is intact and he's at full strength, it seems like he's stronger than described in the ancient scrolls. Technically, he is-- there are abilities he has that he didn't record for obvious reasons, such as his 'Sage Mode'. So, since it's actually him this time, it's a given he'll override the Jutsu and manually remove Orochimaru's seal on him. There are no Hashirama cells. There is nothing keeping him from eviscerating the Snake Sage who desecrated life and disturbed his sleep not once but twice.
Confirmation of Tobirama being aware his Jutsu was used and that it was Orochimaru was given in that same scene in the manga and anime.

So my explanation is that simply because Tobirama's a sensory-type, he can ascertain who was controlling the mockery of his soul the first time around-- hence the overwhelming hatred and aggression my version of him will display in such a scene.

RAN BY GUILLOTINA (Mun is 27+, She/her), amanmadeweapon has become #apathofviolence; an indie, low to medium activity, multi-muse blog with a Naruto bias. Canons (all except for one) in this universe are either slightly or highly canon-divergent due to the heavy headcanons and original lore accompanying them. The muses therein, including NPCS are available for any and all threads, ready to be utilized to the fullest potential (assuming they live long enough for it).
The other (4) canon muses, which are canon-divergent as well, comes from Demon Slayer.
WARNINGS
CARRD || LORE (WIP) || VERSES (WIP) || HEADCANONS || EXTRA INFO ON YURIA AKASE/SENJU (OC) (WIP).
Friendly to: Canons, Duplicates, AUs, Crossovers, OCs and 18+ stuff (not a safe zone for minors!).
If you're interested in interacting with any number of my muses (or just one), kindly ❤️ or 🔄 !! Thanks in advance!

{{ I forgot I made her black-coded LMAOOOOOO. (You probably can see it if you squint hard enough but I tried to shade/color her skin in with pencil). 😭 Welp, time to edit me some new icons. *cris*
Go ahead and make your 'Tobirama loves chocolate honeys' jokes. I dare you. XDD (no pls do it, I'll find them funny 😂)
I still gotta make one for Gaara (and decide if I want to write him too; I low-key want to but aaaaaa so many choices ;w;)
